Turkey: Turkish Media Support Falun Gong Practitioners' Efforts to End the Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 20, in order to raise awareness of the crimes committed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) who have been brutally persecuting Falun Gong for nine years, some Falun Gong practitioners in Turkey went to Muğla in the western region. They visited several major media outlets, telling them about how the CCP persecutes Falun Gong and called on these media to expose the CCP's atrocities and help end the persecution, which has lasted for the past nine years.
Practitioners first visited Datca Express, which is the most influential newspaper in Datca city, and told several editors about the atrocities committed by the CCP such as removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and gave them some detailed information.
The editors were so shocked and indignant at the inhuman persecution launched by the CCP that they expressed that they would certainly publish this story in their newspaper to let more people know about the crimes committed by the CCP.
After they left Datca Express, the practitioners went to Hamle Medya Grubu the biggest integrated media institution in Muğla and were well received.
When understanding what Falun Gong is and why Falun Gong is being persecuted in China, the staff responsible for the program production immediately invited the practitioners to help them create a special television program with Falun Gong as a theme. The staff said that the audience in Muğla will surely be interested in Falun Gong.
During an hour-long program, the practitioners exposed in detail the fact that the CCP cruelly persecutes Falun Gong and, at the same time, introduced the goodness of Falun Gong and the benefits Falun Gong has on the mind and body by sharing their personal experiences. At the end of the program, the practitioners demonstrated the beautiful and peaceful Falun Gong exercises.
A hostess expressed that she was deeply moved after hearing about Falun Gong. She told the practitioners that she herself would not only learn Falun Gong, but also introduce Falun Gong to people around her.
After the recording the program, the practitioners went to the editorial department of Hamle newspaper, belonging to the media group, telling the editors and staff there about how Falun Gong is widely spread in more than 80 countries and areas, and the fact that the CCP has been persecuting Falun Gong for nine years, and gave them detailed information.
The editor of the department said that what the practitioners were doing now was very important. He planned to produce a piece of news on how the CCP persecutes Falun Gong. He added that he hoped the practitioners could set up a practice site in their city. Finally, together with other staff, the editor sincerely wished Falun Gong practitioners' efforts success.
A person working for the media in Muğla, who has offered great help to practitioners, also expressed that he would take more materials with him and distribute them to all media in this city.
