Dentist and Two Others Arrested in Shandong Province

Mr. Xing Yong is a 40-year-old dentist at the Chinese Medical Hospital in Shandong Province. He began to practice Falun Gong in 1996. Since 2000, the police from the Guan County Police Department and the Chengguan Police Station have called his home many times to threaten him. At about 5:30 p.m. on July 4, 2008, police from Chengguan Police Station broke into Mr. Xing's dental clinic. They ransacked the entire clinic and arrested him.

Mr. Jing Zhaowei from Sanga Town was arrested on the morning of July 4, 2008.

Ms. Liang Shuju from Gaosanli Village, Chengguan Town was arrested about 12:00 p.m. on July 5, 2008. On the same day, police agents from Liangtang Township arrested a practitioner in Li Village. The details are to be further investigated.
