At 8 p.m. on August 16, 2008, officers from the Shengrong Police Station in Mishan City broke into the home of Mr. Zhang Yutang and arrested him and his wife as well as Mr. Zhang's nephew, Mr. Dai Jun, and Ms. Chen Min. They are being detained in the Mishan City Detention Center.

At 6 p.m. on August 4, 2008, four or five police officers from the Xinjiuzhan Police Station in Jilin Economic Developing District arrested Mr. Xie Yujie and Ms. Zhao Xiuzhen and took them from their home. It is said that they are being detained in the Baishan Detention Center.

In the middle of the night on August 13, Ms. Lu Shibo was arrested. She is being held in the Fulaerji District Detention Center. On the same day, Ms. Gao Yongzhi was also arrested. At 1 p.m. on August 17, 2008, Ms. Xin Yanhua and Ms. Zhou Guoping were arrested at their homes. Their computers and printers were also confiscated.

On the morning of August 9, 2008, Ms. Zhao Yuqin, 65 years old, was reported while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials in Suzhou City. She was arrested by the Xihu Police Station in Suzhou Industrial Park. Now she is being detained in the Lumu Detention Center.

Ms. Lu Yufeng and Mr. Jiang Zhongxun from Longgang District were sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp and Huludao Forced Labor Camp, respectively.

Around July 20, 2008, police broke into the homes of Mr. Wang Qingsen, Mr. Wang Qingheng, Mr. Ma Guiquan, and Ms. Liang Deju and searched them without warrents. In Mr. Ma Guiquan's home, the police took away Dafa books, audio tapes of Teacher's lectures, Teacher's pictures, etc. Mr. Ma was taken to the Hetou Police Station inx fhs Tanggu District.

Mr. Qiu Baohe was an employee of the Forestry Check-up Station of the Jiaohe City Forestry Bureau. On March 27, 2008, his employer stopped his wages after he was arrested and persecuted because he tried to rescue fellow practitioners. Now he has been sentenced to five years' imprisonment by the Jiaohe Court.

On August 16, 2008, Ms. Liu Yanhong was arrested again by the Changfeng Police Station. She has been taken to the Shijiazhuang Brainwashing Center.

On July 4, 2008, Ms. Liu and her husband, Mr. Shen Manliang, were arrested together. Later, she managed to walk out of the detention center with righteous thoughts.

Ms. Peng Gaohua is a retired employee in Zaoziping, Panzhihua City. On August 16, 2008, she was followed by students when she was explaining the truth about Falun Gong to high school students. Afterwards, she was arrested by local police and her home was also searched.

Mr. Feng Liping is a former journalist. He was arrested by national security police and his arms were broken. He was sent to Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp. On August 7, 2008, his term was supposed to end, but it was extended to August 24.

On June 4, police from the Guankou Police Station, the Longfeng Town 610 Office, and the Pengzhou National Security Team arrested Ms. Li Jihui and took 2,800 yuan from her. Now she is being detained in the Pengzhou City Brainwashing Center.

In Fenjin Forced Labor Camp, Mr. Zhu Xiaoguang's term was extended for 25 days. On August 17, 2008, he was transferred to the Changchun City Brainwashing Center.

Since July 2008, many practitioners have been arrested. Among of them, six were sent to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp at the end of July. They are: Mr. Jing Zhaowei, Ms. Cui Qiaolan, Ms. Li Xiuying, Ms. Yang Xiumei's husband, Ms. Liang Shuju, and Ms. Lu Qinglan. Now Ms. Cui Qiaolan and Ms. Li Xiuying are being detained in the Guan County Brainwashing Center because of their poor physical condition.
