A Soldier Witnesses the Miracle and Goodness of Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) I am forty-six years old this year and serve in the military. At the end of July, my brother called to let me know that our mother was very sick in bed and she wanted me to go home to visit her.

My brother, who is a doctor with his own practice, told me our mother had not been well since last Spring (she had been suffering from bronchitis). Lately, she had a fever that would not go away, even with medication.

On July 29, our mother's health deteriorated to the point where she was moved into Jianping County Hospital. Not only did the fever fail to subside, after another a dozen days of treatment, her condition worsened.

At that point, she was moved to a room with oxygen equipment to help her breathing. The mother of a nurse there is a Falun Gong practitioner. Seeing the poor condition of my mother, whose bed was filthy with urine and feces, she began to talk with me about Dafa. She asked me to teach Mom to recite, "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." She said that it could help my mother recover, but I did not believe it. I thought that my mother was not getting any better with all the money that we had spent on treatments; how could she improve by just reciting a few sentences? How could that be possible?

The practitioner was very compassionate. Seeing that I did not believe her, she herself spoke into my mother's ear and told her to recite, "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." Desperate to reduce the discomfort, my mother followed her and recited the words, until she gradually fell asleep. Within half an hour, my mother's labored breathing eased and her color returned to normal. After more than a dozen days of suffering, she was finally able to have a good sleep. I was quite surprised. I have heard a lot of propaganda against Dafa while serving in the military and I truly did not expect that Dafa could be so miraculous.

When my mother woke up, I asked her how she was feeling. She said happily, "I am well now. My fever is gone." I was so happy that I could not stop smiling, and could only keep saying that it was simply miraculous.

That same afternoon, my mother improved enough to use the bathroom on her own; she even refused my help. Her condition continued to improve rapidly. I have witnessed the wonder of Dafa. My misunderstanding toward Dafa completely disappeared. Seeing this miracle, the more than ten other patients in the ward began to recite, "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." The usual moaning in the room disappeared. Everyone was immersed in Dafa. One after another they declared they would no longer be members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. I also quit the evil party. I now understand very clearly the issue of Falun Gong and will never be deceived by the lies of the evil CCP again.
