Recent Experiences Promoting the Divine Performing Arts Performances in China

(Clearwisdom.net) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) exhausted its resources to host the Beijing Olympic Games. Before and during the Games, the CCP frantically spied on and followed Falun Gong practitioners, ransacked their homes, and arrested a large number of them. In the face of the CCP's persecution and the old forces' arrangements to destroy sentient beings, Falun Gong practitioners must choose between passively hiding from the persecution and making good use of the time left to clarify the truth to save sentient beings. This is a test for practitioners in China.

I thought to myself, "While the Chinese public is mesmerized by the Olympic Games broadcasts, I should widely distribute DVDs of the Divine Performing Arts performances so that those who are predestined will watch these DVDs instead of the Olympics. This will help them break the fetters of the CCP and purge the possessive evil minions and rotten demons.

Before and during the Olympic Games, the CCP escalated its control over the post offices and telecommunications in China. I carefully packaged the DVDs to avoid postal inspections and successfully delivered 20 sets of DVDs in high definition. When a fellow practitioner received them, she asked for the VCD version because most village and townspeople have only a VCD player. I spent an entire day burning over 20 VCDs of the Divine Performing Arts show and had them express delivered. When she received them, she distributed them to her relatives, friends, townsfolk, and other predestined people.

During the Games, I mailed a DVD to my three aunts and one uncle. So that they would be more receptive of the DVD, I also sent nutritional supplements along with the DVD and said they were gifts for the upcoming Moon Festival. Before he retired, my uncle was the head of a manufacturing plant for a famous corporation and the plant's CCP secretary. Two years ago, he scolded me, saying, "You are against the CCP!" I explained to him that Falun Gong is good for the Chinese people and China and explained the lies the CCP has told. He accepted the truth somewhat and agreed to withdraw from the CCP and the CCP's student leagues he once joined, but he was not clear on the importance of believing Falun Gong is good. After he received the DVD, he called me and said, "I have watched the DVD. The programs were good, the stage designs were good, and the performers were good. The contents were excellent. My entire family now understands the truth. We now know Falun Gong is good." He thanked me for the DVD repeatedly.

An elderly aunt of mine used to practice before the CCP began the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999. But she was overcome with the fear of being persecuted and thus gave up practicing Falun Gong. Afterward, her hypertension and diabetes returned. She spent a lot of money on medical expenses. This time I wrote her a letter as a fellow practitioner and advised her to cherish her predestined relationship with Falun Gong. I even quoted Teacher's words to encourage her to watch the DVD. Teacher said:

"Every show was like that. People were deeply stirred and moved. In this dimension it was young people who were performing, while in other dimensions, many of my Law Bodies and many divine beings were doing so. The strength of the impact on people, as with the changes it caused in them, were very similar to what happened back when I personally taught the Fa early on. So it has effected tremendous changes in people." ("Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference")

After watching the DVD, my elderly aunt decided to start practicing Falun Gong again.

My third aunt and her husband were both high-ranking military officials before they retired. They receive a large retirement pension, so they can afford to travel. In the past when I explained the truth about Falun Gong and the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, they would say, "We thank no one but the CCP because it gives us big retirement pensions that allow us to travel around the country." After watching the DVD, they told me that they understand the truth about Falun Gong now and believe that Falun Gong is good.

Recently, my friends from college had a 30-year reunion celebration. I was busy burning DVDs, so I missed the reunion. But I thought it was a special predestined opportunity that we had studied together for four years. As a true friend, I should tell them the truth about Falun Gong so they can be saved. I obtained the addresses of all my college friends that they had left at the reunion and mailed each of them a DVD and a letter. In the past month, I have mailed out over 80 DVDs. As I write this, I continue to mail DVDs daily to my friends and relatives.

We are Falun Gong practitioners on the verge of reaching Consummation. The situation in the human realm may change, but we must steadily do the three things well. At the final stage of the Fa-rectification, we must spread the Divine Performing Arts performances far and wide, save sentient beings, and complete our grand mission!
