My Understanding about "Risking One's Life"
By a practitioner from China
(Clearwisdom.net) I often read the articles that tell about practitioners
risking their lives to distribute materials that clarify the truth
about Falun Gong. This makes me feel uncomfortable. Whenever I see it I think,
"What we are doing is the greatest thing--saving sentient beings. The evil
does not have anything to do with me. Therefore, there is no risk at all." From a long time ago, I have wanted to share my understandings about the idea
of risking one's life and discuss how this notion jeopardizes us. Why do I use
the word "jeopardize?" Do we always put ourselves in a position of
suffering from persecution and expanding the evil forces? Because of our continuous Fa-study and cultivation, Dafa disciples possess
great powers and abilities. Our every thought and idea shakes heaven and earth.
In addition, because matter and mind are one, our words are real manifestations
in other dimensions. If we always think that clarifying the truth means risking
our lives, so that the thought remains in our subconscious, isn't this a
loophole? Isn't this a reason for the evil forces to persecute us? If we have
the intention of saving sentient beings, the evil forces are not worthy of
testing Dafa disciples. They are nothing. Master created the three realms to
rectify the Fa and save sentient beings. Only Dafa disciples are worthy of
creating a splendid new era here. We just steadily, reasonably, and wisely
clarify the truth and save sentient beings. With the protection of Master and
all righteous gods, who would dare to harm us?!? Master told us, " if you
don't have those thoughts they can't do anything." ("Teaching the Fa
at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.")
