(Clearwisdom.net) Today's report relates persecution incidents that took place in 12 cities or counties in six provinces. Fourteen Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to brutal mistreatment during detention, and at least 19 practitioners were arrested.

Mr. Chen Heng was arrested on May 27, 2008, and held in the Fuzhou City No.1 Detention Center.

Officials in the Gulou District Court in Fuzhou City did not notify Mr. Chen's family and secretly sentenced him on November 14, 2008. It has been heard that he was sentenced to four and a half years in prison. He has appealed.

Mr. Chen's brother-in-law went to the No.1 Detention Center to pay accommodation fees on January 21, 2009. He was informed that Mr. Chen is no longer in the detention center. His whereabouts are unknown.

Yongnian County Domestic Security Division chief Chen Jushan and a group of policemen attempted to arrest Mr. Wang Manliang on the night of January 25, 2009. Mr. Wang's wife has high blood pressure, fainted, and fell to the ground. Police failed to arrest Mr. Wang. They went to Mr. Gao Diangui's home, arrested him, and put him in a detention center.

Mr. Sun Kuixun from Sunjiahui Village, Renzhao Town, Pingdu City, was arrested and taken to the Chengyang Detention Center on July 28, 2008, for distributing Falun Gong flyers. He was transferred to the Zibo City Forced Labor Camp on August 7, 2008. Mr. Sun is often force-fed and is now unable to take care of himself.

Mr. Geng Daohu from Jiazhuang Village, Sunsi Town, Chengwu County, Jining City, was put in a forced labor camp. Guards beat him badly on October 1, 2008, because he refused to shout the camp's exercise slogans.

Personnel from the Muxiang Police Station in the Youyan County Police Department sentenced Mr. Lu Manku to ten years of imprisonment on May 26, 2008.

Ms. Zhao Sujuan from Anshan City is sentenced to ten years in prison; Ms. Guo Xianling from Anshan City to five years; Ms. Zhang Yanju from Desheng Village, Dahuang Township, Panshan County, to four years; Ms. Zhang Xianhao from Shimiaozi Town, Youyan County, to four years.

Ms. Zhang Guiqin, Ms. Liu Yuping, Ms. Guan Ruijuan, and her husband, Mr. Jing Zaichen, were arrested and are held in the Gaomi City Detention Center.

Ms. Xiao Liru from Shenyang City was arrested on January 3, 2009, for appealing for Falun Gong in Beijing. She is in the city detention center.

Personnel from the Laishan District Police Department in Yantai City held Ms. Zhao Baokun for 15 days and then put her in the Wangcun No.2 Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City. Her detention term is one and a half years.

Police arrested 13 practitioners. They are Ms. Qi Mouchun, Ms. Wang Ailing, Ms. Meng Xianglan, Ms. Meng Xiangling and Mr. Li Changbao from Mamuchi Township, Yinan County; and Ms. Li Changfang, Ms. Wang Xi'ai, Ms. Wang Xilan, Mr. Liu Naixun, Mr. Liu Jianhua, Ms. Zhi Fuqin, Ms. Wang Deju, and Mr. Sui Shuchang from Yiwen Township. They will be taken to forced labor camps.

Ms. Lai Shulan and Ms. Wang Dequn from Rong County were arrested in Xuyang Town, Rong County on January 26, 2009, Chinese New Year's Day. Police ransacked their homes. The two women are being held in the county's Songlinpo Detention Center.

Fifty-year-old Mr. Zhu Chuaqi from Dancheng County used to be employed by the Zhoukou City Construction Bank. He was arrested on May 9, 2007, for explaining the facts about Falun Gong, and sentenced to five years in prison. Mr. Zhu is now in the Mi County Prison in Henan Province.
