(Clearwisdom.net) Li Fuguo and other police officers from Tanghai County, Hebei Province stole from Falun Gong practitioners and made up a story to frame them. As a result, the Tanghai County Court illegally sentenced Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Sun Cuiqing to four years and Ms. Xu Na to four and a half years of imprisonment.
On July 26, 2008, when Ms. Sun Cuiqing and her husband Mr. Ning Yongxiu left their home in Shilihai Haixing County, they were detained by Jiang Yanli and Wang Suhong. Tang Changli, the local police inspector, then came and subjected Sun Cuiqing and Ning Yongxiu to a search. The officers took away the truth-clarifying materials that Sun was carrying. The two practitioners were arrested and taken to Shilihai Police Station. Ning Yongxiu suffered a heart attack in the process. To avoid being held accountable the Tanghai County Public Bureau released Ning Yongxiu after extorting 5,000 yuan from him.
Li Fuguo, Zhang Shun and Sun Jinglin from the Tanghai County Pubilic Bureau and some police officers from Shilihai Police Station rushed into Ms. Sun's home. The officers confiscated anything valuable that they could find and over a thousand Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials and books. They recorded finding 1,200-1,300 pieces of Falun Gong material in Sun's home at the time. Li Fuguo and other officers later falsified a report saying that they found 9,258 pieces of Falun Gong materials there. The Tanghai County Court opened two illegal court sessions regarding Sun's case on November 27 and December 8.
During other court sessions, Li Fuguo and others gave false testimony to implicate Ms. Xu, resulting her four and a half year sentence.
