(Clearwisdom.net) At around 3:00 p.m. on February 25, 2009, Falun Gong
practitioner Ms. Liang Yuzhen from Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province went to the
countryside to distribute truth-clarification materials. Police
arrested her and took her back to her home at 9:00 p.m. that night. They
ransacked the house for evidence to persecute her. Ms. Liang's 98-year-old
grandmother held her tight and pleaded with the police that she needed her
granddaughter to take care of her. The police pried her hands open and forcibly
took Ms. Liang away and sent her to Heshan Detention Center Ms. Liang's grandmother in front of the detention center

her. She looked everywhere to find lawyers willing to help her rescue her
granddaughter. Attorney Tang Jitian from Anhui Law Firm and Attorney Li Chunfu
from Gaobolonghua Law Firm, both in Beijing, agreed to work with her. On April
2, the two lawyers went to Heshan Detention Center asking to see Liang Yuzhen.
Jiangmen City 610 Office and Domestic Security personnel were very
frightened to see the lawyers and ordered the detention center to make every
effort to prevent them from meeting with Liang Yuzhen. Upon learning that the two lawyers were denied visitation rights, the elderly
grandmother was extremely sad and outraged. With the help of others, she walked
to Heshan Detention Center. The guards there all tried to avoid talking to her.
They said they were only working there and felt helpless themselves. The grandmother had always been well taken care of by Liang
Yuzhen Liang Yuzhen, 41, began her practice of Falun Gong in April 1999. Ever since
the persecution began, she and her sister Liang Jinyou have been arrested and

over her and her sister's plight. Attorneys Tang Jitian and Li Chunfu have
submitted complaints to relevant departments. However, as of now, they are still
not allowed to see Liang Yuzhen.
