A Good Doctor Sent to Jinan Jail After Being Detained for Over Two Years

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Li Guoen, a Falun Dafa practitioner and doctor in Laixi City People's Hospital, Qingdao City, Shandong province, was sent to Jinan Prison in December 23, 2008. Prior to this, he had been detained for over two years.

Mr. Li Guoen was arrested at work on October 10, 2006, by four police officers from Laixi Public Security Bureau. They also ransacked his home and confiscated his valuables. In March 2006, he was sentenced to four years imprisonment and was jailed at Laixi Detention Centre. During his detention, he was made to treat ill inmates. His family was not allowed to visit him.

Mr. Li Guoen is an outstanding doctor. He is kind-hearted and truthful, with high moral standards. He has been following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in everything he does. He was an asset to the hospital and the patients. In addition to doing his work well, he clarified the truth about Falun Gong so people who had been poisoned by the Chinese Communist Party could learn the truth.
