On November 1, at the invitation of League des droits de l'Homme (League of Human Rights, a famous human rights organization in France), dozens of practitioners came to Lyon to appeal to Chinese leaders for a peaceful resolution of the Falun Gong issue. They also clarified the truth and exposed the brutality to France's local governments, media and citizens.
Practitioners hired a tour bus to take them to Lyon. It was not the first time the bus driver took practitioners to Lyon, and he was highly impressed by practitioners' conduct. He told practitioners, "I feel very comfortable being with you. I like being your driver." He let practitioners put a sign on the bus reading SOS! Urgent: Rescue Practitioners Persecuted in China. During the trip, the bus driver helped practitioners with many things such as carrying Hongfa materials. In a restaurant, he distributed Dafa materials to the cooks in kitchen on his own accord and explained to them the purpose of the practitioners' trip.
During a rest stop, practitioners met a group of tourists from China. They distributed the booklet Falun Dafa Peaceful Journey to each of the tourists, and the tourists were all willing to accept Dafa flyers and talk with practitioners. Later it was learned that those tourists had read some Dafa materials while they toured Paris. One visitor from northeast China said to his friends loudly, "When I drove into Masanjia Labor Camp, I found out it is a huge compound filled with Falun Gong practitioners. They freed other prisoners in order to detain more practitioners. Over 10, 000 people are detained there. The whole country knows it. Now the whole world knows it. One friend of my colleague, a graduate, was detained and tortured to death in the labor camp."
Another visitor said, "How could a vicious person like Jiang Zemin understand you?! He should just be reincarnated endlessly and punished."
One lady passing by commended, "I missed a bus but found you. I do not know why I wear yellow today. It looks like we have a predestined relationship." She pointed to the button I support Falun Gong and said she also wanted one. The practitioners gave the button to her. Then many of the Chinese visitors also asked for a button.
Unconsciously the visitors all forgot about their trip. The passengers asked some questions they had and practitioners patiently answered them.

Hongfa in Lyon took place on a busy street. The activity was sponsored by several human rights organizations and thus attracted many media and people who are concerned about human rights issues. Many visitors came to know the truth and learned the Dafa exercises.
An Algerian visitor holding a Dafa introductory flyer told a practitioner, "This is very precious. Sooner or later I will die, but I will leave this to my decedents." He invited practitioners to his home in Algeria and promised to guide practitioners to tour Algeria.
Practitioners exposed the criminal acts of Jiang Zemin's regime. After knowing the truth of Dafa, many people were very angry about the inhuman persecution in China and signed their names on the appeal letter.
The organizer delivered an impromptu speech to resolutely support Dafa practitioners' rights to freedom of belief. He also resisted the unreasonable restriction by French police due to the pressure from the Chinese embassy. The whole activity concluded successfully.
