On April 17th, fifty or sixty practitioners from Washington D.C. held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy. For four hours, they practiced their exercises in the cold night air in the small park across from the Embassy known as Tiananmen Garden. Many people driving by in their cars honked their horns in a show of support while passersby were eager to sign a petition calling for an end to the killing of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
