A secretary in charge of political and legal affairs said, "I have only one book left and I need to keep it for my own reading."

There was a secretary for political and legal affairs who was in charge of the so-called "transformation" of Falun Gong practitioners in a town. He had fiercely beaten Falun Gong practitioners before. Sometime last year, he was so moved by the behavior exhibited by the Falun Gong practitioners that he had begun to read Zhuan Falun [Main Book of Falun Gong teachings] At one time, Dafa practitioners asked him for the books. He said, "I had two copies of the books, but I have given one to my friend. Now I have only one. I would like to keep it for my own reading. I read it every night. It is indeed very good."

"Why did the government let bad people take charge of the good people?"

Shuying Gao of Cinji City, Hebei Province was arrested due to distributing the truth-clarifying material of Falun Gong. She was brutally tortured by the police from the Public Security Bureau. She was beaten until the point of having incontinence of her bladder. However, Zhanfeng Geng, a director in the Bureau, was awarded as a Model Legal Worker of the Year 2000. Some people commented, "Why did the government let bad people take charge of the good people?"

"They are all good people."

My mother was confined in a detention center, because she told the truth about Falun Gong to the public. She was detained because a bad person reported her activity to the authorities. It was getting cold, and I brought her some clothes. An old gatekeeper asked me to go in to have a seat after he had done a routine check on me. After he knew that my mother was illegally detained due to practicing Zhen-Shan-Ren, [Truth-Compassion-Forbearance] he told me that a lot of people detained here were Falun Gong practitioners, and they were all good people. At least among them, there was no one that had bad behaviors like drinking, gambling and prostituting, or accepting bribes. Who wasn't aware that the suppression of Falun Gong was the problem of the higher authorities?
