The Vigil continues at the Chinese Consulate in Sydney, with practitioners continually sending Righteous Thoughts and appealing peacefully with their hearts to the Chinese Government.
The campsite at the Chinese Consulate is a symbol of practitioners' commitment to be outside night and day, 24 hours non-stop.
Through torrential rain and gale force winds, women, children, and the elderly have been there almost 24 hours a day.
Ms Lau, (the elderly lady in the enclosed picture) who decided to fast for several days, went to the consulate day and night as well as maintained her household duties of cooking and looking after the grandchildren. She had no intention of notifying others of her choice of fasting and was not affected when there was no media attention.
I realized that the outward act itself is all we see with our human eyes, whereas our hearts are the most important aspect -- which I recall Master Li saying that is what he looks at. Also, as more activities take place, our successes and failures are not for us to judge, but rather we should exhibit united hearts and good intentions that are powerful and profound -- which brings us closer to Truth, Compassion and Tolerance.
