(Clearwisdom.net) On a recent Sunday afternoon, Boston area Falun Dafa practitioners had a summer outing for new practitioners, family and friends at a public beach near a scenic lake just 20 minutes from Boston. A few new practitioners and a lot of practitioners' family members came, so there were many new faces who did not have much contact with practitioners before. Practitioners also invited their friends, some of whom were skeptical of Dafa and held misunderstandings about what Dafa practitioners are really like. People brought their kids and took them swimming, played games and enjoyed themselves in other activities such as beach volleyball.
This event took minimal resources and time, and the planning began just a week before the recent Fa Conference and rally in Washington D.C. Overall, everyone seemed to have a really good time, and of course, Falun Gong was a frequent topic of discussion. Practitioners validated Dafa with their smiles, warmth and hospitality, helping their family and friends to understand Dafa and Dafa practitioners a little bit better.
