We all obtained the Fa in the second half of 1998. Many of us were very sick and unhealthy before obtaining the Fa. Master purified our bodies as soon as we obtained the Fa, and we all became perfectly healthy within half a year. We also found the true meaning of our lives from Dafa.

Since the evil persecution started, some of us stopped practicing, some practiced secretly at home, and none of us came out to validate Dafa. Since we did not study the Fa well, most of us signed our names on so called "Guarantee Letters."* For the past four years, we have deeply regretted the stain we put on our cultivation paths. Today we solemnly declare that all the oral and written "guarantees" we made after July 20, 1999 are null and void. We will diligently cultivate ourselves and catch up with the Fa-rectification process. We will clean up our tainted cultivation and put our efforts into completing our historic mission.

Solemn Statement

In August 2001, I was forcibly sent to a brainwashing center. Since I did not study the Fa well and did not understand the Fa from the standpoint of the Fa, I enlightened along an evil path and found excuses for being brainwashed. As a result, I wrote the "Three Statements"** against my true will. After being released from the brainwashing center, I read Master's article "Fa-Rectification Period Dafa Disciples," and felt deep regret for what I had done. I am sorry that I did not study the Fa well and let the evil take advantage of my omissions. I caused losses to Dafa and let our benevolent Master down. Through this painful lesson, I learned the importance of studying the Fa well. All our righteous thoughts came from the Fa. If we do not study the Fa well, the evil will find our weaknesses and destroy us.

It has been more than two years, but I did not publish my solemn declaration previously due to my human attachments. Recently, through studying the Fa and sharing experiences with fellow practitioners, I realized that publishing a solemn statement is not just a procedure, it is also a way to validate Dafa and completely deny arrangements of the old forces. I hereby solemnly declare that everything I wrote and said in the brainwashing center and all my previous words and deeds that are not in accord with Dafa are null and void. I will do well the three things Master told us to do, double my efforts to make up the damage that I caused to Dafa, cultivate myself diligently toward consummation, and live up to Master's benevolent salvation.
