Since the middle of July 2002 when Dafa practitioner Mr. Zou Jihua from Changchun City/Jilin Province was arrested his whereabouts have been unknown. In January 2003, when his father died, his family went to the Tiebei Detention Center to request a temporary release for Zou Jihua to attend to his father's funeral. But the detention center even refused them to see Zou Jihu, and the excuse they gave was very suspicious. At the day when Zou Jihua was arrested, he was beaten so brutally in a police precinct that his clothing was torn into pieces and he could only lie on the ground. Recently policeman A met policeman B in the street. They belong to the team of people who persecute Falun Dafa practitioners and had not seen each other for a long time. After greeting each other, policeman A suddenly asked policeman B surreptitiously, "Is your bonus sufficient recently?" [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Authorities at Dalian City's Forced Labor Camp Torture Dafa Practitioner Ms.Wan Xiaohui with Excruciating Means
Ms. Wan Xiaohui, 47 years old, is a practitioner from Malanzi / Shahekou District of Dalian City. On October 9, 2002, on her way home from the supermarket, policemen from the Malanzi Police Station kidnapped her. On November 1 she was sent to Dalian City's Forced Labor Camp. As Ms. Wan didn't cooperate, the policemen instructed prisoners to whip her upper body and the inner side of her thigh with plastic bottles full of water. They even sprayed chili powder in her vaginal area. They opened all the windows, took off all her outer wear, left her clad only her underclothes and had her shackled in a solitary confinement, barefoot, for half a month. After she was released from the solitary confinement, she was forced to do manual labor, such as picking five sacks of soybeans everyday. Wan Xiaohui was tortured so severely that she couldn't lie down to sleep but had to sit. Her chest was so swollen from beatings that she couldn't even breathe. She went to see a prison doctor but was told that it's nothing, and that she should go back to work.
