1. In October 2003, Dafa practitioner Mr. Jing Changxu, an elementary school teacher from Mingyang Village, Yongqing Town, Anyue County, Sichuan Province went to Pi County in Chengdu City to deliver Dafa truth-clarifying materials to fellow practitioners. Public surveillance cameras installed in a public park spotted her and as a result, three practitioners were seized but were released on November 5^th. Eight days after their release they were again arrested and unconstitutionally sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor.

2. In November 2003, plainclothes officers tailed Dafa practitioners Ms Wang Shuyi from Yueyang Town, Anyue County when distributing truth clarification flyers in the street. They searched her bags. She was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor.

3. Zhang Tao, a male police officer at the Shengli Police Precinct, Xiangyang Police Department in Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province, has persecuted, targeted, abused and tortured innocent Falun Gong practitioners during the past four years. On July 19, 1999, he ransacked practitioner Ms. Liu Xia's home.

During the Chinese New Year 2000, he was in charge of other police officers and together they confiscated the personal money found on seven Dafa practitioners they searched. Zhao Tao chained the seven practitioners tightly and often used interrogation through force, propagated slander, subjected Dafa practitioners to long-term sleep deprivation and used other methods to torture the practitioners.

4. Dafa practitioner Mr. Dong Qingpu, a teacher at Tianmiao Township's Elementary School in Yucheng County, Henan Province clarified the truth about Dafa in class. He was reported and was sent to the county detention center in spring 2003 where he still is being held.

Since October 2003, the perpetrators from Liuji Township's Police Department and from the Yucheng County's National Security Bureau arrested six Dafa practitioners. They extorted 4,000 Yuan from each practitioner's family before they would release them. The perpetrators also sent determined Dafa practitioners to forced labor. Dafa practitioner Yue Yongqun was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor.

5. In December 2003, perpetrators from the Luquan City Brainwashing Class in Hebei Province had arrested several Dafa practitioners. Perpetrator Cui Yanfang, female, organized this class. Three practitioners, Mr. Ren Guiping, his father and Mr. Liu Yuhe were detained at the detention center, where they are being physically and mentally tortured. Perpetrator Cui Yanfang takes pleasure in torturing Dafa practitioners. She doesn't allow the practitioners to sleep at night and during the day forces them to stand for a very long time; this woman orders male guards to beat the practitioners. She also wrote Dafa-slandering words on pieces of paper and put them before the practitioners.

6. Male police officer Zhao Yu at the Xinhua Labor Camp in Sichuan Province takes pleasure in torturing Dafa practitioners. He punishes the practitioners by committing the following law-breaking deeds: he records the practitioners' "misconduct" [when the practitioners practice Dafa exercises], extends their terms, shocks them with electric batons, ties them up with police ropes, forces them to run, to stand in military postures, forces them to do highly intense physical exercises; he doesn't allow the practitioners to sleep or talk and he tries his best to make the practitioners suffer.

7. The authorities in the Gaoyang Labor Camp in Hebei Province order inmates to torture Dafa practitioners. Inmate Zhao Lijun, female, closely monitors the practitioners and often reports them in hopes of getting a sentence reduction. Once she cruelly beat Dafa practitioner Ms. Han Liping who had been on a hunger strike for more than one month. She also tortured practitioner Ms. Cui Xiuzhen, an elderly woman from Shijiazhuang City, using many savage means including crushing her hand with a pair of pliers until the bones Cui Xiuzhen's hands almost broke.

8. Since late in 2003, much Dafa truth clarification material was found in Liuzhou City. The city's "610 Office" perpetrators and police department enforcers started an arrest sweep and monitoring of Dafa practitioners, the largest illicit effort since July 20, 1999.

Liang Bing, the male deputy mayor in charge of political and legal matters had said numerous times at different conferences, "Before the Chinese New Year, we must arrest a group of Falun Gong practitioners and detain some others; if necessary, we'll dispatch the military."

9. Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Hongluan, a teacher at No. 2 Middle School in Hengshui City, Hebei Province was forced into homelessness for more than two years only because she refused to give up her belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." On January 1, 2004, the perpetrators from Hengshui City Police Department and Hengshui City's "610 Office" abducted Liu Hongluan and sent her to Hengshui City's Brainwashing Class in an attempt to force her to give up her belief.

10. Lin Baicheng, a male police officer from the Honggang Police Department in Honggang District, Daqing City abducted Dafa practitioners. He abducted practitioner Ms. Bai Lizhu, Ms Chen Shufang, Ms Wang Xiuping, Ms Zhang Guixiang, Ms Zhou Shuqin, Ms Liu Yunxiang, Mr. Lu Changyou and Ms. Lu Feng'e and ransacked their homes. They were sent to detention centers, custody centers and labor camps where they are being brutally tortured. 11. Dafa practitioner Ms. Xie Dexin, is a 68-year-old retired senior engineer from the Liaohe Oilfield Oil Exploration Company. On August 19, 2003, She was detained on August 19, 2003, for distributing Falun Gong truth clarification materials. Ms. Xie Dexin held a hunger strike and was released when she was extremely weak. The perpetrators at the Xinglongtai District Police Department National Security Bureau in Panjin City tried to extort 20,000 Yuan "bail" money from Xie Dexin's family.

12. On March 23, 2002, the guards at the Jiutai Labor Camp in Jilin Province subjected practitioners to brainwashing and torture the practitioners, using various torture tools. The guards at Division One tortured Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Qinghua for more than ten hours by beating him with electric batons, belts, spiked clubs, and cigarette lighters until his body was covered with cuts and bruises. They then rubbed salt water and toothpaste in his wounds, which added to his pain.

The guards ordered inmates to jam hard plastic pipes into the armpits of Dafa practitioners Mr. Huang Yuedong and Mr. Wang Liguo. The resulting wounds were so deep the bones were exposed.

13. Recently, the perpetrators in Huadian City, Jilin Province conspired with a city TV station. They went to practitioners who are short on money and tried to coerce them to give up their Dafa practice. The street officials accompanied people from the city's TV station who carried video cameras with them. They attempted to make the practitioner read a pre-written statement defaming Falun Dafa while videotaping it, so they could broadcast it. The practitioners firmly resisted. An elderly practitioner in her 80s clarified the truth to the perpetrators and in the end they walked away shamefaced, unable to achieve their debased goal.

14. Perpetrators in Mudanjiang City had recently planned to arrest more than 50 Dafa practitioners. Twenty-eight practitioners have already been illegally arrested and are being held at the No. 1 Detention Center. The perpetrators plan to send them to a labor camp around the time of the Chinese New Year. Right now, approximately 20 practitioners are being illegally held at the No. 2 Detention Center.
