1) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Sun Shuxiang of Foyedong Township, Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, is 61 years old. On July 20, 1999, Ms. Sun went to Beijing to appeal and was abducted, detained 20 days, and then sentenced to one year in the Chaoyang Labor Camp. Later she was transferred to the Masanjia Labor Camp. In 2001 Ms. Sun was arrested and detained 15 days in the Lingyuan City No.2 Detention Center, because she was posting a truth-clarifying banner. She also had 2,200 yuan extorted from her. She became homeless for more than a year in order to avoid being illegally arrested at home.

2) On the evening of September 18, 2004, Jinan City's Tianqiao District "610 Office" officials in Shandong Province arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Du Zezhou and forced him to attend the brainwashing class located in the Tianqiao District Government Hotel. They also extorted money from him. Mr. Du was recently released from the Jinan City Labor Camp. He never betrayed Falun Dafa during his entire three-year term.

3) Around 3 p.m. on September 2, 2004, a Falun Dafa material center was destroyed in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous District. Mr. Zhou Jinpeng, Ms. Jia Yanping, Ms. Wan Xiuying. and her daughter Wang Ying were all arrested. Police confiscated equipment worth 25,000 yuan. These four practitioners were explaining the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong to people in the area, for which the police beat them up brutally. Ms. Wang Ying passed out due to the beating. Police were afraid that she might die, so they released her and her mother around 10 p.m. that day.

4) In Li County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, practitioner Mr. Wang Pingjun and his family had their home ransacked and a large sum of money was extorted from them, just because they believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance." His son was sentenced to prison and is being tortured at the Baoding Prison. His daughter-in-law was forced to divorce his son. His daughter has been detained twice in the Li County Detention Center and was later sentenced to a labor camp. His wife has been detained in a detention center and brainwashing class for several months. Mr. Wang Pingjun became homeless to avoid being arrested at home, but was discovered and arrested anyway and sentenced to a labor camp. In 2003 he was tortured until his life was in danger at the Baoding City Labor Camp and only then was released for medical treatment. The Li County Party Committee and his employer, the Li County Labor Administration, refuse to pay him his retirement, which has made his living circumstances very difficult. He went to the county committee to request his retirement check a few days ago, and Vice Secretary Ning Hongmao demanded that the labor camp police arrest him and return him to the labor camp.

5) At noon on August 31, 2004, Yongqing County "610 Office" official Mr. Yu Yong from Hebei Province instructed Agricultural Administrator Ms. Song Heju to raid Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Dong Shuqin's home with a group of police. They ransacked her home and forced her to enter the Langfang City Brainwashing Class.

6) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Zhihua from Jintang County, Sichuan Province, went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa in October 1999, where she was mistreated and had more than 10,000 yuan extorted from her. In October 2000, police sent her to a labor camp for 18 months. "Just because I practice Falun Gong, I have to become homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested at my home, and I cannot return home or go the work."
