1. Sentences were pronounced on four Dafa practitioners, Ms. Zheng Huizhen, Ms. Xiao Aying, Feng Wenquan, and Ms. Huang Meiling, on trumped-up charges at the Xiangcheng Region Law Court, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. During the middle of December 2003, the four Dafa practitioners were independently sent to Fuzhou and Longyan for detention. Mr. Xu Linlong (Zheng Huizhen's husband) and Mr. Zheng Zhangzhou (Xiao Yazhen's husband) were sentenced to seven years and three years respectively.

On March 3, 2003 the villains at the Minxi prison hung up Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Siwei by the handcuffs, suspended from the window frame with his feet barely touching the floor, for more than an hour. In April 2001 policeman Tang Zhenhua hung Dafa practitioner Mr. Lin Yongliang suspended from the window frame with his feet off the ground, for two hours. Both of Lin Yongliang's hands were injured and it was difficult for him to use them for more than six months. Though his hands were seriously injured, he was forced to work in a high temperature brick kiln where he unloaded burning hot machine-made bricks with his hands. His hands became more and more raw and were soaked in blood. Lin was tormented until he became deformed, and his body was just skin and bones.

2. I am Jia Yulian, a female Dafa practitioner from Luquan City, Hebei Province. Since the beginning of the persecution of Dafa practitioners on July 20, 1999 the town and village committee members harassed me at my home. Throughout 2001 I was detained at the town's brainwashing center for up to three months at a time. On May 29, 2001 I openly and righteously walked out of the transformation center and became homeless, wandering from place to place to avoid being persecuted. My two children lost their motherly love and my husband lost the care of his wife!

3. Practitioners at the Number Seven Brigade of Wanjia Forced Labor Camp, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, were physically tortured, forced to attend brainwashing sessions, and even forced to attend group training where they were made to sit on small wooden stools, as well as forced to stand or squat on their heels in one position for lengthy periods. The camp forced the practitioners to do very heavy manual labor daily for more than twelve hours. If they didn't meet their assigned quota they were forced to work overtime. The hands of the practitioners were bloody and full of blisters. Some of them could no longer straighten their backs. Practitioner Ms. Qu Xueying was persecuted until she was crippled and could no longer work for a living. All of them were so tired they felt dizzy and had blurred vision.

4. Dafa practitioner Mr. Song Yuegang from Benxi City, Liaoning Province was arrested in August 2002 by the police from the Dongxing Police Station, Benxi City (now named the Zhangjia Police Station), as some depraved people had reported him. Practitioners Zhao Chenglin and his wife were sentenced without due process. The mother of Zhao Chenglin was critically ill, and the relatives were hoping the son could see his mother for one last time before she died, but the police would not approve it. The mother passed away without the opportunity to see her son one last time. Song Yuegang was sent to the Weining Forced Labor Camp in Benxi City, where he was tortured without pause for fifteen days. After six months, he walked out of the center using his righteous mind and actions, and he thoroughly immersed himself in the tide of Fa-rectification. He was arrested again after being reported by some wicked people. He is only twenty-three years old. It is not known if he is still alive.

5. Mr. Fu Xiaodong of Benxi City, Liaoning Province was arrested twice for practicing Falun Gong. In January 2001 Fu Xiaodong was charged with disturbing the public peace and was detained for fifteen days. His work unit fired him. He was paid a paltry sum for agreeing to forgo his social benefit payments. On April 24, 2002 he was arrested by police and sentenced to two years at a forced labor camp at the Benxi Reform Center (also known as Weining Camp Reform Center). Because he refused to yield to the demands of the center, he was sentenced to solitary confinement twice, and once to intense and continuous torture. His sentence was extended by two months.

6. For the past four years, Dafa practitioner Ms. Tang Tianzhen of Beibei Region, Chongqing, has steadfastly practiced Falun Gong. Jiang's cohorts harassed her continuously. They used different excuses to arrest her and send her to detention centers, forced labor camps, and brainwashing centers where they subjected her to mental and physical torture. During her one-year detention at the forced labor camp, she was denied family visits. While at the Beibei and Chongqing brainwashing centers for more than a year, she was totally isolated from her family, and her situation was kept from them.

7. Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Degui is a retired fifty-seven year-old worker from the Mechanical Construction Company, Guizhou. Last year his work unit tried to force him to attend a brainwashing session, but he and his relatives opposed it successfully. The family members took him to Anshun.

On December 15, 2003 the chairman of the company union, Kang (surname) and the party committee secretary, Xie (surname) went to Anshun to deceive Zhang Degui into returning to Guiyang. He was then sent to the Lannigou Brainwashing Center, Huaxi District. On February 17 Zhang Degui's family members received a phone call informing them that Zhang Degui had been sent to the hospital because he held a hunger strike. The family members were required to send money to the hospital. They rejected this demand, because they did not agree sending the money to have the persecution of the practitioner prolonged. They wanted to know which hospital Zhang Degui was sent to. Not only was their request denied, but they were also threatened.
