practitioners in Chongqing City, and let the people of the world know the crimes
committed by Jiang's regime, we have collected and organized this partial list.
Practitioners from Shizhong District, Chongqing 1. Wang Shiqun, female, 40, was illegally detained in a labor camp between
March 2001 and March 2002. 2. Zheng Ling, female, 43, an employee of Shiqiaopu Elementary School, was
illegally detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 3. Li Wenping, female, 53, was illegally detained in a labor camp between
2000 and 2003. 4. Li Xiumin, female, 53, an employee at the Railroad Station, was sentenced
to prison in April 2003. 5. Shi Zhimin, female, 49, an employee of Shangqingsi Dental Hospital, was
detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 6. Wang Qi, male, 30, a graduate student of Sichuan University formerly
working in Chongqing Branch of the Chinese People's Bank, was arrested for
persisting in practicing Falun Gong. He was transferred to Yongchuan Prison in
Chongqing. While in detention, he suffered inhumane torture. He almost went
blind as a result of the torture. According to relevant rules and regulation, he
should be able to be released on medical parole given his health condition. His
70-year-old mother took a lot of trouble to find the prison officials to request
medical parole for her son. However, her request was turned down. In August
2002, Wang Qi was brutally beaten again. As a result, he had fractures on his
left shoulder and left elbow, and he could no longer take care of himself. His
mother pleaded for his release, only to be refused again. 7. Wang Wei, female, 30, was arrested shortly after New Year's Day in 2002.
At that time she was pregnant. Because of the persecution, she had a
miscarriage. Soon she was sentenced to two years of "education through forced
labor." Practitioners from Jiangbei District, Chongqing 1. Qi Songling, female, 62, an employee of the Changan Factory, was detained
in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 2. Tan Wenming, female, 65, an employee of the Chongqing Soap Factory, was
detained in a labor camp between 2000 and 2001. 3. Liu Qingbi, female, 62, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2003. 4. Su Qinfang, female, 47, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 5. Yue Zhonggui, female, 47, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 6. Wang Shubi, female, 48, a teacher from the 18th Middle School,
was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 7. Xia Yulan, female, 50, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 8. Liu Hanzhou, female, 65, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 9. Zhang Jie, female, 38, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 10. Xiao Yuqin, female, 60, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 11. Lu Yaming, female, 60, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 12. Gan Jinzhi, female, 72, was sent to a labor camp for the second time in
March 2003. 13. Deng Chaoyu, female, 63, an employee of the Ship Manufacturing Plant, was
detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 14. Zhao Kunbi, female, 47, an employee of the Ship Manufacturing Plant, was
detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 15. Mou Zefen, female, 61, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and July
2003. 16. Chen Mingda, male, 32, was detained in a labor camp between 2002 and
2003. 17. Liu Minghua, male, 48, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 18. Lei Zirong, female, 47, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 19. Yi Qunfen, female, 50, was sent by the Changan First Factory, where her
husband worked, to Maojiashan Labor Camp where she was detained for two years.
The factory threatened to fire her husband if he did not divorce her. While in
the labor camp, the police instigated drug addicts to pierce her breasts with
iron wires and then pull the wires with force. They also burned her pubic region
with a cigarette butt. Moreover, they put her in a water dungeon with most of
her body submerged under water. However, despite all these inhumane tortures,
she remained firm in cultivating Falun Gong. After she was released, she kept
clarifying the facts to the people. In 2002, she was again sent to Maojiashan
Labor Camp where she is still jailed at present. 20. Luo Piping, female, 50, was an employee of the Changan First Factory.
Because she distributed truth-clarification materials, the police ransacked her
home and her work unit fired her. Moreover, she was sentenced to 10 years of
forced labor. Currently she is being detained at the Yongchuan Prison. Her
husband, 50, also a Falun Gong practitioner, was an employee of the 32nd
Workshop of the Changan First Factory. He was also fired by the factory for
passing out flyers. He was then detained in Banan District Detention Center for
14 months, during which he was tortured so badly that he could not stand on his
feet. Later he was sentenced to 3 years in prison, with 3.5 years probation. The
couple's 17-year-old son was also a practitioner. He was detained in Banan
District Detention Center for 15 months. Like his dad, he also had difficulty
standing on his feet because of the torture. He was sentenced to 4 years in
prison, with 4 years probation. Now father and son do not have any income. Yang
Renbi, director of the community office, refuses to give them any of the social
security payments they are entitled to. 21. Feng Jun, male, 38, was a policeman at the Changan First Factory. He was
arrested at work by policeman Yan Xiangming for distributing flyers. His home
was also ransacked, and he was fired. He was sentenced to 4 years of "education
through labor" and he is currently detained in Yongchuan Prison. 22. Tang Xiaoyi, female, 40, lived in the apartment complex of the Changan
First Factory and was an official of the Chongqing Food Bureau. She was arrested
for passing out flyers and was sentenced to 4 years of "education through labor"
She is currently being detained in Yongchuan Prison. 23. Guo Zhongyi, male, 38, was a worker of the 51st Workshop of
the Changan First Factory. He was reported to police for installing radio
devices to broadcast the truth about Falun Gong. His home was ransacked and he
was fired. He was sentenced to 4 years of "education through labor" and is
currently being detained in Yongchuan Prison. 24. Yang Dayu, female, 69, was a retired doctor of the Changan Second
Factory. She was abducted in the Bijing Park of Yubei District on May 8, 2003.
Then she was sentenced to 3 years in prison with 4 years' probation. Every month
her pension was suspended. She only received 169 yuan as living expenses.
Despite the ordeals, she still firmly cultivates Falun Gong. 25. Wang Zhenxian, male, 65, was a retired senior engineer of the Tianyuan
Factory. On May 8, 2003, he was abducted in the Bijing Park of Yubei District.
Then he was sentenced to 3 years in prison with 3 years' probation. Every month
his pension was suspended. He only received 169 yuan as living expenses. Despite
the ordeals, he still firmly cultivates Falun Gong. 26. Zhang Jun, an employee of the Chongqing Optics Equipments Factory, went
to visit a colleague in January 2001. He told his colleague that Falun Gong is
great. Unfortunately, he was reported to the police. In mid-February 2001, he
was deceived into going to his office and was arrested at work. He was put on
trial illegally in July 2001. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison. 27. Mrs. Luo, 76, a retired worker of the Wangjiang Factory, was arrested
while chatting with some fellow practitioners she ran into while taking a walk.
They were accused of conducting "an illegal gathering." She was sentenced to a
prison term. Due to the torture she suffered in prison, she could no longer take
care of herself. Later she was admitted to the hospital for torture-induced
illnesses. 28. Xiao Xuxiang, female, 57, whose husband was an employee of the Huayu
Factory, wrote a letter in May 2003 to her mother and brother who lived in
Beijing to clarify the truth. Her letter was intercepted by the post office
staff, who tore open her letter and reported her to the police. Later Shimahe
Police Station police often came to her home to harass her. They even took her
to the police station where they tortured her attempting to extort a confession.
On December 17, 2003, the police station again took her away and sentenced her
to 2 years of "education through labor." Practitioners from Shapingba District, Chongqing 1. Zhang Hongqun, female, 52, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2003. 2. Zhang Guozhen, female, 50, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2002. 3. Chen Jing, female, 41, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and 2002. 4. Lin Yanlan, female, 37, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2002. 5. Zhang Guizhen, female, 57, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2 6. Tu Zeming, male, 61, a teacher of Jialing Factory, was detained in a labor
camp between 2002 and 2003. 7. Yin Qinglian, female, 33, an employee of the 11th Division of
Railroad Station, was sentenced to 4 years in prison in 2001. 8. He Fashun, female, 48, was sentenced to 5 years in prison for writing
articles exposing the persecution while she was detained in a labor camp in
2001. 9. Zhao Deji, male, 60, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and 2001. 10. Zhang Guizhen, female, 57, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2002. 11. Xiao Fengming, female, 60, an employee of the Shaqu Power Plant, was
detained in a labor camp between 2000 and 2002. 12. Zhang Yongkun, female, 66, an employee of the Shaqu Dynamical Plant, was
detained in a labor camp between 2000 and 2001. 13. Rao Yuhui, female, 59, an employee at the Shaqu Coal Mine, was detained
in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 14. Chen Qing, female, 26, was sent to a labor camp in 2001. 15. Yao Shuhui, female, 45, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2003. 16. Zhao Yan, female, 25, was sentenced to 'education through labor' in 2002. 17. Li Zhihua, male, 61, was detained in a labor camp between 2002 and 2003. 18. Zhou Dulun, male, 42, an employee of the Special Steel Plant, was
sentenced to 13 years in prison in 2002. 19. Peng Qing, female, 30, an employee of the Special Steel Plant, was
sentenced to prison in 2001. 20. Yu Guangqin, female, 40, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2003. 21. Liu Lan, female, 40, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
November 20, 2003. 22. Tong Huishuan, female, 50, was sentenced to 7 years in prison in 2001. 23. Jiang Changlan, female, 47, an employee of the Pesticide Plant, was
detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. Her mother, husband and daughter
were also detained and persecuted. 24. Wang Shibi, female, 53, an employee of the Chemical Plant, was detained
in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 25. Wu Hongmei, female, 27, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. On December 18, 2001, Longfeng Town Government and the local government
took her out of the labor camp and sent her to Xiema Mental Hospital in Beifu
District, Chongqing. They did this without informing her family. She was further
persecuted in the hospital. 26. Mei Guinan, male, born on October 24, 1978, was originally from Xingan
County, Jiangxi Province. He graduated from Chongqing University and used to
work in the Zhongtian Decoration Company of Chongqing. Before he was arrested,
he lived in Zhuxin Alley of Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. On January 1, 2001,
he went to Beijing to validate Dafa. He was arrested and sent back to Xingan
County where he was sentenced to 2 years of "education through labor." He was
released ahead of the scheduled term later on. On November 17, 2001, he was
arrested in Guiyang City for making truth-clarification materials. On January
22, 2002, he was arrested again and detained in the Yungang District Detention
Center of Guiyang City Police Department. On May 8, 2003, Yugang District Court
secretly put six Falun Gong practitioners on trial, including Mei Guinan.
However, practitioners' families were not informed. Mei Guinan was sentenced to
13 years in prison. However, his whereabouts are unknown. Practitioners from Beifu District, Chongqing 1. Huang Hua, female, 40, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2003. 2. Huang Xianling, female, 35, was sentenced to 2 years of "education through
labor" in 2002. 3. Jiang Changlan, female, 42, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
December 1, 2003. 4. Zhao Zaibi, female, 60, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 5. Lai Hengju, female, 45, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 6. Yin Hongrong, female, 62, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 7. Song Guoqin, female, 55, was sentenced to "education through labor" in
June 2003. 8. Wang Zhenyong, male, 30, with a Ph.D. in psychology and an associate
professor at the Xinan Normal University in Chongqing, was arrested in Shenzhen
City in 2000 for clarifying the truth to people. In the spring of 2001, he was
sent to Beifu District Detention Center in Chongqing. After he was released in
February 2002, he went to Shenzhen City where he is doing some odd jobs to make
a living. 9. Shi Junhua, female, 33, originally from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province,
was a graduate student of Xinan Normal University. Because she kept on
clarifying the truth to people, she was arrested in May 2002. Now her
whereabouts remains unknown. 10. Tang Rongku, male, 52, originally from Yibin County, Sichuan Province,
was a lecturer at the College of Art at Xinan Normal Univerisity. Because he
kept on clarifying the truth to people, he was arrested on December 28, 2000
while he was giving a lecture at school. He was sent to Beifu District Detention
Center. His home was also ransacked. After long-term detention, he was secretly
sentenced to 3 years in prison. At present, the police are still trying to get
him to give up his belief in Falun Gong. 11. You Chengyu, female, 65, a retired employee of the Xinan Normal
University, was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for going to Beijing to appeal
in late December 2000. Now her whereabouts is unknown. 12. Tang Weicheng, male, 52, working in the Accounting Department of Xinan
Normal University, was abducted at the end of July 2003. Now his whereabouts is
unknown. 13. Tang Tianzhen, female, 60, was the resident Obstetrician / Gynecologist
at the Jiangbei Machine Plant affiliated hospital in Shuitu Town, Beifu
District. She was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and 2001. After she was
released, she was forced to go through brainwashing sessions many times. 14. Qu Chaoyun, male, 45, was a lab technician at the Xinan Agriculture
University in Chongqing. On November 19, 2001, he attended a Fa conference in
Xiema Town of Beifu District. He was arrested and sent to Beifu District
Detention Center. After being detained there for over a year, he was sentenced
to 3 years in prison. Currently he is jailed in the Yongchuan Male's Labor Camp
in Chongqing. Practitioners from Nanan District, Chongqing 1. Zhou Xuxia, female, 47, was sentenced to 7 years in October 2000. 2. Zhao Xiulan, female, 65, was sentenced to 10 years in October 2000. 3. He Yangzhen, female, 60, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 4. Zhang Guoyun, female, 60, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 5. Zhang Shunxiang, female, 60, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. Practitioners from Dadukou District, Chongqing 1. Dai Wenli, female, 56, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
October 2002. 2. He Suqun, female, 33, an employee of the 18th Refinement Plant,
was sentenced to "education through labor" in 2002. While in detention, she once
managed to unfurl a banner. 3. Tang Wanxiu, female, 53, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
December 2001. 4. Li Wei, male, 41, has a master's degree in French. He was detained in a
labor camp between 2001 and 2002. Practitioners from Jiulongpo District, Chongqing 1. Sun Yufeng, female, 63, was from Zhongliangshan Village of Jiulongpo
District. She was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and December 2001. In
April 2003, she was again sentenced to 3 years of "education through labor." 2. Zhang Guorong, female, 30, from Yangjiaping, Jiulongpo District, was
sentenced to "education through labor" in 2002. 3. Du Hanwen, male, 41, was detained in a detention center between 2000 and
2001. 4. Liu Chaoshu, female, 40, from Baishiyi, Jiulongpo District, was detained
in a labor camp between 2000 and 2001. 5. Liu Zeying, female, 53, an employee of the 112 Plant, was detained in a
labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 6. Gong Xiuying, female, 52, an employee of the 112 Plant, was detained in a
labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 7. Wang Shibi, female, 50, from Xipeng, Jiulongpo District, was sentenced to
5 years in prison in 2000 for passing out flyers. 8. Qin Changrong, female, 64, from Xipeng, Jiulongpo District, was detained
in a labor camp between 2000 and December 2001. 9. Yu Shuhui, female, 40, was sentenced to 3 years in prison in 2000. Practitioners from Jiangjin City, Chongqing 1. Wen Yueling, female, 40, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2001. 2. Wen Hongshu, female, 34, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2001. In June 2003, she was again sentenced to "education through labor." 3. Guo Chuanshu, female, 36, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2002. 4. Jiang Tao, female, 35, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and 2002. 5. Jiang Hong, female, 34, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2003. 6. Huang Daifang, female, 38, was sentenced to 5 years in prison in 2001. 7. Huang Shunrong, female, 57, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2003. 8. Liang Guangwei, female, 35, was sentenced to 4 years in prison in 2001.
She once went to Hong Kong to attend a Fa conference. 9. Zhang Yulian, female, 52, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2002. 10. Liu Xiaoying, female, 41, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2002. 11. Yang Caize, female, 55, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2002. 12. Ao Zhongqun, female, 55, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2002. 13. Kuang Yonggui, female, 60, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 14. Chen Degui, female, was from Lishi Town, Jiangjin City. In December 2001,
she was abducted by Wan Hua, Wang Chun, Dai Yonghong, Lu Zhongyong and others
and sent to Maojiashan Labor Camp where she suffered torture for one year.
Because she kept on practicing Falun Gong after her release, she was again
abducted on January 24, 2003. 15. Li Jiming, female, was sentenced to "education through labor" in 2001.
Later she was transferred to a brainwashing class to be illegally detained. 16. Tang Benlan, female, was sent to a labor camp in 2001. Later she was
transferred to a brainwashing class to be illegally detained. 17. Xie Xingling, female, was sent to a labor camp in 2001. Later she was
transferred to a brainwashing class to be illegally detained. 18. Zhou Zequn, female, was sent to a labor camp in 2001. Later she was
transferred to a brainwashing class to be illegally detained. 19. Dong Shaotai, male, 60, was sent to a labor camp in 2001. Upon his
release from the labor camp, the police took him straight to a brainwashing
class to be further persecuted. Practitioners from Fengdu, Chongqing 1. Liu Tianqun, female, 40, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2002. 2. Wan Xiuzhi, female, 56, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and

2002. In September 2003, she was once again sent to a labor camp. 2. Gao Xingfang, female, 55, was sentenced to 2 years of "education through
labor" in 2002. 3. Diao Yong, male, 29, an employee of Yongrong Coalmine Bureau, was detained
in a labor camp between 2002 and 2003. Practitioners from Changshou County, Chongqing 1. Wang Yajun, female, 41, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. She was again sent to a labor camp in December 2002. 2. Wang Jinshu, female, 53, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2003. 3. Tang Guoqin, female, 45, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and

a labor camp between 2001 and 2003. Practitioners from Bishan County, Chongqing 1. Zhang Sufang, female, 43, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2003. Practitioners from Dazu County, Chongqing 1. Yang Huanying, female, 53, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 2. Li LIangduan, male, 30, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 3. Zhao Zhonglu, male, 60, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 4. Jiang Zhongliang, male, 30, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002. 5. Yi Tingzhong, male, 30, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and

was a resident of Group Two, Mingjiang Village, Mituo Town, Dazu County. Her
husband Chen Guokang, her daughter and her 2-year-old grandson were detained in
a brainwashing class for 5 months. 9. Li Kaixiang, female, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2002. 10. Practitioners detained at the Daxu County Detention Center included: Zeng
Xiangjin, Zheng Xuequn, Deng Shangyuan, Tang Simin, Zhang Zhishu, Hou Zaoying,
Zhang Hongying and Zhao Dong. Practitioners from Fengjie County, Chongqing 1. Shou Minghui, female, 35, an employee of the transportation department,
was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and October 27, 2003. 2. Feng Chuanjia, female, 64, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2001. In October 2002, she was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Practitioners from Banan District, Chongqing 1. Tang Hong, female, 30, was detained in a labor camp between 2002 and 2003. 2. He Ximu, female, 45, an employee of Banan District Branch of the Central
Bank, was detained in a labor camp between 2002 and 2003. 3. Qiao Wenfang, female, 69, from Lijiatuo of Banan, was detained in a labor
camp between 2001 and 2002. 4. At least 10 practitioners are still being detained in the "strictly
disciplined" team of Brigade Four of Maojiashan Labor Camp and they included Yu
Xunrong and Tian Yifeng. Yu Xunrong has been tortured in the "strictly
disciplined" team since May 13, 2002. Practitioners from Wansheng District, Chongqing 1. Su Mingli, female, 47, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2003. Practitioners from Nanchuan City, Chongqing 1. Zhao Zhengyuan, male, 62, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
2001. Practitioners from Fuling District, Chongqing 1. Deng Yanhai, male, 45, was detained in a labor camp between 2002 and 2003. 2. Su Shufang, female, 45, was detained in a labor camp between 2002 and
2003. Practitioners from Wanzhou District, Chongqing 1. Zhang Tingzhen, female, 53, was detained in a labor camp between 2002 and
2003. 2. Wang Jinghui, female, 69, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and

was an undergraduate student majoring in English. She was detained in a labor
camp between 2001 and 2002. 9. Tong Yugui, female, 32, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2003. 10. Fu Yunxia, female, 38, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2003. 11. Gou Changfang, female, 47, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2002 for the second time. 12. Yang Youbi, female, 48, was detained in a labor camp between 2000 and
March 2002. 13. Tian Qimei, female, 52, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
September 2002. 14. Wei Hua, female, 55, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and 2003. 15. Zhang Qiancui, female, 24, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and

signals to broadcast truth-clarification programs. 25. Wang Zhihai, male, 36, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and
2003. 26. Huang Jianjun, female, 42, was detained in a labor camp between 2001 and

camp between 2001 and 2002. 32. Ren Min, female, 29, was sentenced to prison in 2001. 33. Zhang Congyuan, female, 59, from Guangyuan, Sichuan Province, was
sentenced to 3 years in prison in 2002. 34. Cai Zefang, female, 63, from Guangyuan, Sichuan Province, was sentenced
to 2 years in prison in 2002. 35. Luo Yunjian, female, 50, from Lingshui County, Sichuan Province, was sent
to a labor camp in 2002. 36. Zhang Ji'an, male, 53, from Lingshui County, Sichuan Province, was
detained in a labor camp between 2002 and 2003. 37. Xu Lingfen, female, was sentenced to 8 years in prison in 2002. 38. Gao Yunxia, female, 40, was jailed in Yongchuan Female Prison. The
tortures she suffered gave this 40-year-old woman a full head of white hair and
a whole body of bruises. 39. Liu Xiuying, female, was taken away by police on January 3, 2002. She was
then detained at the Yuzhong District Detention Center. In September 2002, she
was sent to Maojiashan Labor Camp. Not long after she was sent there, she was on
the verge of death because of the torture she suffered. Later she was sent to
Maojiashan Hospital. On November 25, 2002, her mother was informed to come to
the hospital to see her. Upon arriving there, her mother noticed that she could
no longer take care of herself. Her abdomen was quite swollen due to fluid
retention. Her mother requested she be released on medical parole, but the
police said she must write statements denouncing Falun Gong before she could be
released. Liu Xiuying firmly refused to write such statements.
