(Clearwisdom.net) On May 16, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in Thailand held activities to celebrate the fifth World Falun Dafa Day and commemorate the 12th anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction.
On the morning of May 16, practitioners first practiced the exercises in a park in Bangkok, and then hung banners reading "Warmly celebrating the 12th anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction," "The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa" in the park. In front of the banner reading, "Respectfully Wishing Master a Happy Birthday," the practitioners displayed flowers, balloons and folded colored paper lotus flowers to respectfully wish Master a Happy 53rd birthday and celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. A joyful atmosphere pervaded the park. At noon, some practitioners went to a tourist spot where there are many Chinese tourists to distribute materials to introduce Falun Dafa to them.
The practitioners hoped that more people can learn how Falun Gong benefits people both physically and mentally, and at the same time learn about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
