Persecution Facts
My name is Chen Chunlin. I obtained Dafa in 1996. Because I persisted in Dafa practice and clarified the truth about Dafa, I was arrested in 2001 and sent to Harbin Prison where I was deprived of sleep. The guards brutally squeezed my genitals, gouged my eyes with their fingers and burned me with lit cigarettes. In March 2004, guard Chai Jiatao ordered the inmates to torture me.
Persecution cases in Yi County, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province:
Dafa practitioner Wu Yuhong was illegally detained and fined, her salary was withheld over the past few years and she suffered financial losses of at least 20,000 Yuan. On April 2, 2004 she was sent toYi County Detention Center and later to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for one year of forced labor.
Practitioner Zhang Dianguo was sent to Yi County Detention Center on April 2, 2004. On April 13 he was sent to Jinzhou City Forced Labor Camp for two years of detention. In the past few years, Zhang Dianguo had been abducted, detained and fined many times, resulting in at least 30,000 Yuan financial loss for him. His wife was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp twice and held there for three years.
Practitioner Zhang Lijun was abducted on April 2, 2004 and sent to Yi County Detention Center. On April 13 he was sent to Jinzhou City Forced Labor Camp to be held for one year.
In early July 2004, Dafa practitioner Li Xiumin in Shijiazhuang City disappeared. Li Xiumin was illegally held three times for practicing Falun Gong and for clarifying the truth about Dafa. She was sentenced to three years of forced labor by personnel from the Qiaoxi Police Department in Shijiazhuang City and was tortured cruelly. Because of pressure and lies, Li Xiumin's husband divorced her and took their young son with him.
Dafa practitioner Song Huiyu is a retired worker in Hangzhou City, around 50 years of age. She was abducted in March 2004 for distributing Dafa truth clarification material and has been held at a detention center in Hangzhou City ever since, although her term has expired.
