Dafa practitioners follow the law in their words and actions, and they should be compensated for their loss and suffering under the persecution. Falun Dafa practitioners conduct themselves according to Truth-Compassion-Tolerance at all times; they improve themselves and try to be better people; when they encounter a conflict, they first look at themselves to see if they are at fault. Falun Dafa has never violated any law, yet many practitioners were detained and received criminal punishment. Dafa practitioners should appeal and protest against all unjust treatment, because they are excellent opportunities to reveal the facts of the persecution.

1) Dafa practitioner Qiu Cuixiang in Chongqing City exposes the crimes of perpetrators at Maojiashan Female Labor Camp in Chongqing City. Below is her personal account.

On July 4, 2000, I was sent to Maojiashan Female Labor Camp where the perpetrators forced me to do heavy manual labor such as weaving ribbons. They forced me to stand for extended periods of time and made me work from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. or 12 a.m. daily. On December 16, 2000, I escaped from the labor camp. On May 24, 2001, I was arrested and taken back to the labor camp. This time the perpetrators hung me up and beat me for 30 days around the clock. They tortured me, forced me to stand, force-fed me and paraded me through the streets, to humiliate me. My whole body was bruised, and some of my vertebrae were broken. I have become extremely weak and emaciated.

2) On June 23, 2004, Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Zhanshan from the Wafangdian Maintenance Division in Dalian City and practitioner Mr. Ying Shifeng, both around 40 years of age, were at work when a group of police officers abducted them and sent them to a brainwashing class in Fushun City.

3) My name is Guan Yuling and I am 29 years old. I had a happy family in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, until the persecution began. Because my husband Jin Dewei and I practice Falun Gong, the police kept harassing us and we had no choice but to leave home. In March 2003, my husband jumped from the second floor of building to escape the persecution. As the result, he was severely injured. The police took him and sentenced him to 14 years in prison. His weight dropped from 160 jin to less than 100 jin (about 175 lbs to less than 110 lbs), and both of his legs have atrophied. Right now, I am traveling about in the streets and our two-year-old child has lost the warmth of a happy family. Many of my family members and friends were persecuted because they practice Falun Gong.

4) My name is Zhang Jinhua. I am a 58-year-old woman. I live in Langfang City, Hebei Province. On April 10, 2002, the police abducted me and sent me to the Guangyang District Brainwashing Center where I was surrounded by collaborators (1), so-called "instructors" and "610 Office" (2) personnel. They bombarded me with slanderous attacks against Dafa and Master and they didn't allow me to sleep, which caused me great suffering.
