Facts of the Persecution

1. The Experiences of Persecuted Practitioners Mr. Wang Fuxing and Mr. Zhang Hengyu, both from Wucheng County in Shandong Province

Mr. Wang Fuxing is 41 years old. Because he firmly believes in Falun Dafa, Mr. Wang has been harassed and monitored by the police since July 20, 1999. He also was abducted and illegally held several times. These persecutions caused Mr. Wang's family's frequent suffering. In order to avoid to arrest during a countywide search for practitioners in 2002, Mr. Wang was forced to leave his home. He is still moving from place to place to avoid capture. His wife and his daughter, unable to bear the disturbances by the authorities, also had to leave their home. The county police have never stopped trying to arrest Mr. Wang and his family members since they were forced to leave their home.

Mr. Zhang Hengyu is also 41 years old. After July 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was arrested. He was illegally held and then sent back to his hometown. Since then, the police have often illegally searched his home and imprisoned and fined him. In order to avoid being arrested, Mr. Zhang and his wife moved their residence several times. On October 15, 2001, the whole family left their home to avoid any further persecution from the police. Now their life is extremely difficult.

2. Sixty-year-old Practitioner Ms. Yang Xiuzhi from Sanhe City in Hebei

Province Has Been illegally Held for over Nine Months

At the beginning of this year, while clarifying the truth to people, 60-year-old Ms. Yang Xiuzhi from Yanjiao, Sanhe City, Hebei Province, was abducted by the police. She has been imprisoned at the Daxing County Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Beijing for over nine months.
