Facts of the Persecution

1. Torture in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

On Apr 1, 2005, Masanjia Forced Labor Camp began a new round of persecution under secret orders from the Chinese Communist Party. At that time 144 practitioners were divided into 6 teams. Two female and one male police officer headed each team. These officers constantly torture practitioners. They drag Dafa practitioners out to be beaten at any time. They are all beaten until they are unconsciousness or are dying. Some have to be sent to the hospital to be saved. Practitioner Xie Yulan was hit on the head and has suffered from severe headaches ever since. Practitioners Qiu Li and Zhong Shujuan (detained past his sentence time) were dragged out of the Labor Camp on April 25 and are still missing. In mid April, Xu Qingyan was beaten and so severely injured that she would have died in one more day had she not received help. Now she is disabled and has lost her hearing. Her heart has become very weak and there are damaged blood vessels and blood clots in her abdomen. Her life is in great danger. Presently, more than 10 practitioners are on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. The police persecute them by covering their mouths with plastic wrap until they are semi-conscious. They then violently open their mouths using a metal bar and pour in a solution of salt and corn mixed with water. Practitioner Meng Guiqiu lost 2 teeth when she was force-fed this way. They also confine practitioners in cells, handcuffing them to the heating pipes. They are then not allowed to sit or stand for at least 7 to 8 days, and sometimes for more than 10 days. Sometimes they are without any food or water.

On December 22, 2000, police officers armed with guns arrested him because he clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to four students. He was sentenced to one year in a labor camp, which actually became one year and three months because they kept him beyond his term. They put nails in their shoes, cover their heads with coats, and push the practitioners back and forth or drag them on the ground. Some practitioners were tortured until they were disabled or they died. The policemen let convicted drug addicts torture Tian Zhongfu. They refused to allow him to sleep and beat him if he closed his eyes. At nighttime, they directed a bright lamp at his face. It caused him to be unable to see for several days.
