Be diligent, Dafa disciples! Although in your cultivation it is painful to get rid of your human attachments, this path is a sacred one.

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Wang Wenyi, who shouted her protest to Hu Jintao at the White House, came to Boston on May 24, 2006 at the invitation of several Chinese and English media outlets. She told the media about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
Boston's WBZ NewsRadio station interviews Wang Wenyi regarding the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living people
In the morning, Wang Wenyi had an interview with well-known program host Jordan Rich for WBZ NewsRadio. The station covers 38 states in the US and all of Canada. During the interview, Wang Wenyi elaborated on the motivation behind her shouting at the White House. She had learned, from the two witnesses who had come to the US to expose the organ harvests, that thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have had their organs harvested while they were still alive at the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, and their murdered bodies were cremated to destroy the evidence. But after the crimes were exposed, the CCP took three weeks to covertly remove all evidence of crimes, and then invited US officials to go visit the site. As a result, nothing was found there.
Wang Wenyi continued, explaining that she had paid visits to many media and important government officials together with the witnesses, but because of an emphasis on economic interests, no media, governments nor the international community paid due attention to it. From the investigation of some independent media and non-governmental organizations, prior to July 1, the CCP is hastily killing people to destroy eyewitnesses and evidence of these crimes. Considering that Falun Gong practitioners are facing the danger of being killed at any moment, Wang Wenyi felt she had no alternative but to take that action in this critical condition and under the focus of the whole world.
The host showed deep sympathy after listening to her explanation. He said that he had not learned about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong until Wang Wenyi shouted her protest to Hu Jintao at the White House. Afterward, their topic focused on the human rights situation in China.
Wang Wenyi has an interview with the Chinese media
During lunchtime, five Chinese media outlets in Chinatown interviewed Wang Wenyi. The journalist from the World Daily published a report entitled, "Wang Wenyi: Shouting Protest to Hu Jintao at the Welcoming Ceremony at the White House Is Purely An Individual Act." Other media covered the facts of the organ harvests from different angles.
In the evening, Wang Wenyi was interviewed by well-known host Todd Feinburg, broadcast live at WRKO Radio Station. Wang Wenyi said that the CCP is hastily performing organ harvests from living people across China. She hoped that the medical circle can pay attention to these inhuman crimes, and called on the world's media to take immediate action to investigate the incidents of organ harvests from living people.
The host was moved by Wang Wenyi's sincerity. After the program, he continued his conversation with Ms. Wang for over 20 minutes. He asked about the current situation of human rights in China and the political future of the CCP. He encouraged Wang Wenyi not to be discouraged, and to continue contacting the media to make the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong known to the world.
Press Release - May 26, 2006 European Falun Gong Information Centre
Brussels (EFGIC) - Following a three-day visit to Beijing, the Vice President of
the European Parliament, Edward McMillan-Scott, called the Chinese Communist
leadership a "brutal, arbitrary and paranoid system" at a press conference in
Hong Kong on Wednesday, and said that the EU would keep putting pressure on
China to improve human rights and religious freedom.
After having met with various diplomats, nongovernmental organizations, and
individuals including Falun Gong practitioners, who are ruthlessly persecuted by
the CCP regime, McMillan-Scott concluded that, despite economic advancements,
there hasn't been any improvement for human rights and freedom in China.
Program to encourage Democracy and Human Rights
McMillan-Scott announced the introduction by the European Commission of a
program to encourage and assist the process of democracy and human rights in
countries including China, through cooperation with local groups.
"One of the elements of my visit to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan is to try to
establish whether there are ways that have not yet been tried of finding people
within China, in particular, who have the capacity to act.
"We have an opportunity in the next couple of years to keep pushing. My presence
here, I hope, will begin to give my thoughts and insights into what really goes
on and sensitively to work out ways in which people in China can begin to have
some hope that things will change," he said.
Europe's Call for Freedom for the Chinese
Since the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party by the
Chinese version of The Epoch Times over a year ago, more than 10 million Chinese
publicly resigned from the CCP and its affiliations. This unprecedented event
marks clearly how China chose to have a future without the CCP. As the
persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China has kept on escalating ever
since it was launched in 1999 by Jiang Zemin, more and more people have seen
through the viciousness and the lies of the CCP regime, and stand against the
persecution of innocent fellow Chinese.
It is remarkable and admirable that Europe, despite tremendous economic and
political pressure from the CCP, extends its help to the Chinese people through
this democracy program. The European Falun Gong Information Centre calls out to
the Chinese people, on the Mainland and abroad, to grasp this signal of support,
and completely break free from the CCP's brutal oppression.
Beijing meeting interpreter arrested, others still missing
The interpreter for a meeting with individuals in Beijing, a Western citizen,
was arrested by CCP agents right after the meeting with McMillan-Scott and
aggressively interrogated for 24 hours before being sent back to his country.
The whereabouts of several other people involved in the meeting, including Niu
Jinping and his daughter, both severely persecuted Falun Gong practitioners,
remain unknown.
"We have enough reason to believe all of these people are in hands of the
Chinese regime right now and face life danger" said EFGIC spokesperson Nicolas
Schols. "We call upon the international community to investigate these arrests
and help rescue our friends in Beijing, and demand the Chinese regime to proceed
with their immediate release."

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 21, the Melbourne Falun Dafa Sharing conference was held. Veteran and new practitioners gathered together to share their cultivation experiences from everyday life, work, study and truth clarification efforts.
The conference site
On May 20, the day before the conference, practitioners held an anti-torture exhibit at the Melbourne downtown city plaza to expose the brutality of the persecution and the atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Passers-by signed the petition to support Falun Gong and to call for an end to the persecution. After viewing the exhibit and truth-clarifying posters, many kindhearted Australians burst into tears and expressed their sympathy. Now and then, people formed a long line waiting to sign the petition.
Practitioners sharing experiences
Western practitioner Trevor was the first one who shared his experiences during the one-day conference. He said that he received a Falun Gong brochure from a Chinese practitioner 2 years ago, which inspired his interest in the practice. During his cultivation, he realized that many small things were in fact good opportunities for cultivation and truth clarification. Sometimes, opportunities were created by simply wearing a Falun Dafa T-shirt or exercise suit. Therefore, he said that one should not limit his or her truth-clarification efforts to just group activities. Instead, one should maintain the noble demeanor of a Dafa practitioner anytime and grasp every opportunity. Once, when he was selling furniture and other household items, he took the opportunity to distribute the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to people who came for the yard sale.
Afeng obtained the Fa through the New Tang Dynasty TV station in 2004. Before she started to practice Falun Gong, she had a lot of diseases including gastritis, chronic headache, heart and kidney problems and insomnia. After she started to practice, her body was soon cleansed by Master Li and all the pain disappeared all of sudden. In the past, she could not read the newspaper for even 5 minutes. However, when she read Zhuan Falun for the very first time, she read the book continuously for an hour; the more she read, the more she loved the book and the better she felt. She felt that every cell of her body was filed with energy when she read aloud. Since then, she has tried her best to do well the three things, and difficulties and obstacles were always dissolved by righteous thoughts and actions. Once, she went out to help distribute truth-clarification newspapers. A fierce back pain suddenly occurred and she couldn't move her body at that moment. However, she had a righteous mind; she asked Master for help in her heart: "I need to distribute the newspaper, I have to go and I want to go." After she got off the train, the pain simply disappeared. She then enlightened to this principle: Nothing can stop Dafa practitioners who have righteous thoughts and righteous actions.
Shuhua also obtained the Fa in 2004. She shared her experience in calling Chinese people to clarify the truth. When she started the project, she had a lot fear. She was worried about not knowing how to talk to strangers, being laughed at, and many other issues. However, she now can talk over the phone in a very rational, peaceful and relaxed manner. Sometime, she called 610 Office officials who were directly responsible for the persecution. Looking back, she can see Master's compassion and guidance at every step.
Polish practitioner Barbara shared how Falun Dafa gave her a new life. Her specialty is restoring fresco paintings. On November 11, 2003, she was working alone in a church. All of sudden, she lost her balance and fell from the 7-meter high scaffolding. Her head and hands touched the ground first and she clearly heard the sound of skull fracture. With the doctors' hard work, she survived. However, her skull had several fractures, her nose and the bone above the nose was depressed, her upper palate was fractured into three pieces, and her wrists and knees were completely fractured. The doctors had to install many screws and steel plates in her body and her two eyes still looked in different directions. All her teeth were loose and her head had more than 100 stitches.
Two months later, a friend introduced Falun Dafa to her. Before the accident, she refused to read Zhuan Falun with the excuse of being too busy. However, on the third evening of her reading, she suddenly felt a strong electrical current in her two hands. A miracle happened: all the pain disappeared! When she practiced the exercises, she could feel the bad stuff being cleansed from her brain little by little while fractured nerves were being reconnected... When she finished all the five exercises, she was immersed in a feeling of warmth and health which she had not had for a long time. Today, Barbara has a healthy body, a clear mind and an exceptionally calm heart. She sincerely stated that she was so happy with her choice of practice, and Falun Gong was more precious than her life.
Practitioner Luanshuang shared how she grasped every opportunity to clarify the truth. She said things that seemed impossible always became possible when she maintained a pure heart in truth clarification.
Practitioner April comes from Mainland China. She shared her experience during the Fa-rectification period. When the persecution started, she was confused and didn't know what to do. With diligent Fa study and sharing with fellow practitioners, she gradually became a Dafa disciple during the Fa-rectification period with firm righteous thoughts. When she was arrested for her belief, she clarified the truth to the policemen and managed to walk away safely. When her relatives were arrested, she went to clarify the truth to their supervisors and tried hard to rescue them. With the development of righteous thoughts and more Fa study, she started to clarify the truth at work. She incorporated the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance" into her daily life and her classes. Consequently, she obtained trust from her students, fellow teachers and the principal. After work, she always kept some truth-clarifying materials with her wherever she went.
Time flies, and the one-day experience sharing conference soon concluded with great success. Practitioners said that they would cultivate more diligently and do well the "three things", to live up to Master's arduous salvation.
(Clearwisdom.net) The 13th of May was the first sunny and
warm day in the capital of Bulgaria for months. The city municipality gave
permission for holding a World Falun Dafa Day event and supported the
practitioners despite interference from the Chinese Embassy, as was revealed
later by city officials.
A small exhibition was arranged at the entrance of the downtown city park,
Borisova Gradina, in Sofia. The exhibition consisted of six poster boards
showing the history of Falun Gong all over the world, a big poster detailing the
atrocities of the Communist regime in China in the harvesting of organs from
Falun Gong practitioners in labor camps, and two big banners stating, "Stop the
persecution of Falun Gong" and, "Falun Gong is good." Next to the poster was a
petition for people to sign, calling for an end to the persecution.
People came to find out more by reading the posters and signing the petition
After hearing about Falun Gong, one woman exclaimed: "I know
about Falun Gong from the US. They are very active there. I admire them. I am
very happy that in Bulgaria there are also people who don't think of themselves
first."
A man accompanied by his little daughter said, "I will sign the petition. As
long as Falun Gong is persecuted by communists, it is clear to me. Communists
don't like people who are open-minded and hard to manipulate." He encouraged his
daughter to sign the petition too.
Children received balloons on which was written, "Falun Dafa is good," and
handmade paper lotus flowers, symbols of the purity and beauty of Falun Gong.
One national TV station conducted an interview with practitioners for the
evening news program.

and were interviewed for a TV news program
Practitioners demonstrated the exercises and several people learned the
exercises on the spot. Some were interested to learn about the teachings of
Falun Gong whilst others wanted to talk more about the reasons for the
persecution. Most people were very positive and supportive. It was easy for them
to understand why Falun Gong is being persecuted by the Communist regime in
China, as Bulgarians all lived under Communism sixteen years ago.
Some people wanted to learn the exercises on the spot
People were disgusted by the crimes of the Chinese Communist
Party and asked how they could help. They were eager to learn about how Falun
Dafa has helped one hundred million people around the world to be more healthy,
peaceful, tolerant and harmonious. All shared their hope that the persecution
will stop as soon as possible so that innocent practitioners can be saved and so
that the Chinese people will have freedom of speech, belief and association.

introduction of Falun Gong to the public and was also World Falun Dafa Day. On
this day, Falun Gong practitioners from Gothenburg, Varberg, Lerum, Trollhattan
and Uddevalla celebrated in beautiful Slottskogen.
The principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, have purified
practitioners' bodies and minds, elevating them both spiritually and mentally.
Falun Dafa has showed people a way to cultivate their mind and return to their
true nature. Since being introduced in 1992, Falun Gong has spread all over
China and has also brought a wonderful future to people in over eighty
countries, regardless different races, nationality, skin color, language and
cultural differences.
In the spring of 1995, Master Li Hongzhi went to Gothenburg and taught Falun
Dafa to the Swedish people. Nowadays, Falun Dafa is deeply rooted in Sweden.
Filled with gratitude toward Master and compassion for all people, Falun Gong
practitioners celebrated World Falun Dafa Day by displaying pictures from the
"Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance International Art Exhibition." They
also demonstrated and taught the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Poster
boards were displayed for the public to read, and a table was set up for those
who would like to learn how to fold paper lotus flowers. The practitioners also
told people about the benefits they have received from practicing Falun Gong.
There were many activities and each one told people the truth of Falun Gong.
Beret, who attended Master Li's lectures in 1995, was touched by the day's
events and said, "We are so lucky. When getting in touch with the practitioners
in other countries, they might not know much about Sweden. However, they all
know Gothenburg because it was the place that Master came to spread the Fa. My
understanding of qigong was superficial before 1995. Master's lectures let me
know about how to be a human being and the laws of the universe. I will do my
best to spread the teachings of Falun Dafa."
The yearly Gothenburg Marathon was taking place on the same day. The start was
close to Slottskogen. Participants, spectators and other visitors were attracted
from everywhere. A lot of people stopped to view the paintings carefully, learn
how to fold paper lotus flowers, read the picture boards and the leaflets and
listen to practitioners' experiences and stories.
Falun Gong practitioners and the public were sharing the joyfulness and the
happiness that Falun Gong brings to life.

(Clearwisdom.net) At the beginning of May 2006, Falun Gong practitioners held the "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" International Art Exhibition in Vytautas University, in the city of Kaunas in Lithuania. Several important Lithuanian politicians attended the art exhibition and condemned the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for its persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

After viewing the exhibited works, Mr. Vytautas Landsbergis, the first Lithuanian President and a current member of the European Parliament, stated: "The communist system, in essence, is against human ideology and is an evil to devastate human nature, the foundation on which humans live. This kind of system brings tyranny and causes millions of innocent people to be slaughtered. Humans should bestow kindness to others, but communism was never the soil to breed kindness."

Mr. Pouweilous Yacunix, a member of the Lithuanian Parliament, said, "The artistic works on display are very touching. Particularly those who have undergone similar experiences are moved to tears."
Mr. Andrius Kubilius, Lithuanian Opposition Party Parliament chair, expressed that Lithuanian people had personally experienced communist tyranny. After its independence, Lithuania started its new life and became a member of the peaceful international community and of the EU.
"A resolution passed by the European Commission condemning communist totalitarianism has equated the crimes committed by the communist system with fascist atrocities. We think that the international community should bring the communist system to justice, just as the Nuremberg Court did to the Nazis," he stated.
Enjoying the Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition
The "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" International Art Exhibition held in Vytautas University coincided with the 13th conference of the Lithuanian Union of Former Political Prisoners and Deportees held in the same university. Invited by the Lithuanian Union, a representative of New Tang Dynasty TV in Latvia delivered a speech at the meeting. In his speech, he introduced the book, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, which has triggered over ten million people in China to quit the CCP. The representative also discussed the CCP's recently exposed atrocities against Falun Gong practitioners, whose organs were harvested when they are still alive. His statements caused extensive concern among the audience.
On that day, over 600 people present at the meeting also attended the "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" International Art Exhibition. Falun Gong practitioners' perseverance and unyielding determination depicted in the artistic works earned positive feedback and appreciation among the viewers.

and preview of the International Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art
Exhibition took place.
The opening started with a speech by the head of the library, and then two of
the volunteers took the visitors through the whole exhibition and described each
painting in detail. Visitors learned the truth about Falun Gong and the
seven-year-long persecution waged by the Chinese Communist Party against
practitioners of Falun Gong.
The exhibition will continue until May 30th.

On May 20, 2006, practitioners from San Diego hosted the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" Art Exhibition in beautiful Balboa Park. People came in a steady stream to browse the works. People were shocked, some in tears, when seeing the depicted brutal persecution. Some asked how to help, while many others wanted to learn Falun Gong.
Seeing the brutality of the persecution, people are shocked
Due to its beautiful scenery, pleasant weather, and multiple recreation sites, Balboa Park is a very good place for people to enjoy their leisure time. It's busy all year around, so it has also become a routine spot for local practitioners to introduce Falun Dafa to the public. After the first Art Exhibition hosted there on May 13, the practitioners decided to host many more times there, to help more people to learn the facts about Falun Gong.
On May 20, people came to the exhibition in an endless stream. After going through the works, an artist showed his respect to the artistic attainment and ideas of each work. He said, as an artist, he felt these paintings have extraordinary connotations.
A young man came to ask a practitioner to explain the meaning of the painting Tiger Bench. Learning why the painting was created, and about the persecution of Falun Gong, the young man knit his brows, especially when he heard that the persecution is still happening. He said that the persecution is inconceivable.
People came to the exhibition from all over. Many learned the stories behind each painting. People were stunned, and expressed their deep sympathy. Some people were in tears, some others asked how to help. Some people signed their names to petitions, while many others expressed interest in learning Falun Gong.

Prison, and hospitals connected with the above forced labor camps and prisons.
We noticed that Panjin Prison was not listed. From what we know of the past
several years, especially the recent two years, Panjin Prison has detained quite
a large number of Falun Gong practitioners. This suggests that Panjin Prison is
a significant place concerning the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners by
the Jiang and Luo Group. We request that the "Coalition to Investigate the
Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG)" include Panjin Prison in the
aforementioned investigation and evidence collection list. We want to assure
that the inhuman persecution in Panjin is being investigated. We ask your
understanding for not having shared this information any earlier.
Although this is the beginning of the investigation and thus complete numbers
are not available, we are quite positive that Falun Gong practitioners from
Panjin City are separated and detained at Panjin Prison, Fushun Prison, Jinzhou
Nanshan Prison, Shenyang Prison City (including Liaoning Women's Prison, etc.),
Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, Benxi Forced Labor Camp, Liaoning Shenxin Forced
Labor Camp, and other areas. At this time, there are no practitioners at the
Panjin City Forced Labor Camp. The last practitioner to be transferred out was
Zou Liming, a practitioner from Panjin. Zou Liming was transferred to Benxi
Force Labor Camp in May 2005.
Below is a partial list of the current detention situation of Falun Gong
practitioners in Panjin City.
Panjin Prison:
1. Ning Po, male, about 74, is from Xian, Dawa County. He received a 4-year
sentence in 2004. He was first at Jinzhou Nanshan Prison and then transferred to
Panjin Xinsheng Forced Labor Camp. His wife passed away soon after he was
sentenced because of anxiety and lack of proper care. Mr. Ning is currently
detained at Panjin Prison (Xinsheng Prison).
2. Xiao Zhijun, male, about 40, is from Xian, Dawa County. He was sentenced to 2
years of forced labor by Panjin officials in 1999 and was detained at Panjin
Forced Labor Camp. He was sentenced again to 4 years in 2003 and was taken to
Jinzhou Nanshan Prison. He was then transferred to Panjin Xinsheng Forced Labor
Camp in the Fall of 2005. His marriage fell apart after he was in the forced
labor camp. He is still detained at Panjin Prison.
3. Ye Ximing, male, about 40, is from Xian, Dawa County. He was sentenced to 2
years of forced labor by Panjin officials in 1999 and was detained at Panjin
Forced Labor Camp. He was sentenced again to 4 years in 2003 and was taken to
Jinzhou Nanshan Prison. He was transferred to Panjin Xinsheng Forced Labor Camp
in the Fall of 2005. His marriage was broken after the forced labor camp
sentence. He is still detained at Panjin Prison.
4. Xu Baowen, about 40, from Wulipu, Xinglongtai. He was sentenced to 5 years in
2004 and taken to Panjin Xinsheng Forced Labor Camp in the Fall of 2005.
5. Liu Wanli, from Huludao City, Suizhong County. He is detained and persecuted
by the 4th team at Panjin Prison. He is on a hunger strike against the
persecution. Further details need to be investigated.
Fushun Prison:
Li Shangshi, male, in his 50's, from Xinglongtai District. He was sentenced to
3-and-a-half years by Panjin officials in 1999 and was illegally detained at
Shenyang Dabei Prison. He was again sentenced to another 14 years in 2003. He is
currently detained at Fushun Prison.
Nanshan Prison in Jinzhou City:
1. Chu Defu, male, in his 40s, from Fushun but stayed at Panjin, and was
homeless. He was sentenced to 11-and-a-half years by Panjin officials in 2003
and taken to Dabei Prison. He was transferred to Jinzhou Nanshan Prison in 2005
and has been detained there. No family visits were allowed for three years.
2. Sun Jian, male, in his 40s, from Dongguo. He was an employee at Dongguo Reed
Farm. He was sentenced to 2 years and was detained at Panjin Forced Labor camp.
Bayi police arrested him in Fuxin City in 2004 and he was sentenced to a 4-year
term. He was taken to Jinzhou Nanshan Prison, where he was beaten. He lost 4
front teeth. He's still detained at Jinzhou Nanshan Prison.
3. Xin Minduo, male, in his 30s, worked as a technician at Physical Exploration
Inc., a subsidiary of the Liaohe Oil Field. He was sentenced to 3 years of
forced labor by Liaohe police in 2001 and was detained at Panjin Forced Labor
Camp. He was arrested again on August 3, 2005 and has been illegally detained at
Jinzhou Nanshan Prison.
4. Hou Yunfei, male, between 20 and 30 years old, is from Dongguo. He is an
employee at Dongguo Reed Farm. He was sentenced to 2 years of forced labor in
2000 and was detained at Panjin Forced Labor Camp. He was again illegally
arrested on August 3, 2005. On September 12, 2005, he was sentenced to 14 years
by Xinglongtai District Court and was sent to Jinzhou Nanshan Prison in October.
He was beaten brutally. His ribs were broken and legs were injured. He can no
longer care for himself. He is still illegally detained.
Shenyang City Prison:
Yang Lixin, male, in his 40s, has a college degree. He is employed at the
Petrochemical General Plant of Liaohe Oil Field as a mid-level manager. He was
given a 6-year term in 1999 and was taken to Dabei Prison. He went on hunger
strike and was released for medical treatment when he was in dire physical
condition. He was arrested again by Panjin Xingqu Security on August 3, 2005 and
taken to the 3rd Shenyang Prison the following day. He was brutally tortured and
now is only skin and bones. He is now mentally traumatized and no longer can
recognize his family members. He is currently detained at Shenyang Prison City.
Liaoning Province Women's Prison (Shenyang Women's Prison):
1. Meng Jian, female, in her 40s, is from the Liaohe Oil Field Xinfuxiaoqu,
Xinglongtai District. She was an English teacher at the Experimental High School
of the Liaohe Oil Field. Ms. Meng was sentenced to 2 years of forced labor in
1999. She went on a hunger strike and was released because of her deteriorating
physical health. She was illegally sentenced to 13-and-a-half years by
Xinglongtai District Court in 2000. Her husband divorced her after she was
sentenced. No one has heard of her after she was taken to Shenyang Dabei Prison.
2. Zhang Xiuyu, female, in her 40s, a teacher at the Experimental High School of
Liaohe Oil Field, was from Liaohe Oil Field Xinfuxiaoqu, Xinglongtai District.
She was given a 5-year sentence by the Xinglongtai District Court in 2000 and
was taken to Shenyang Women's Prison (Shengyang Prison City). Her husband
divorced her after she was sentenced. She's still in detention.
3. Li Hongshu, female, in her 30s, is from Xinglongtai District. She is a nurse
from Panjin 1st Hospital. She was sentenced to 3 years of forced labor in 1999
and was taken to Masanjia Forced Laor Camp. She was sentenced again to 10 years
in Shenyang in 2001. Now she's detained at Shenyang Women's Prison.
4. Hu Zhehui, female, in her 40s. She holds a college degree, and is employed at
a company of the Liaohe Oil Field. She lives at Hepingxiaoqu, Xinglongtai
District. She became homeless after 2000, because of the persecution. She was
arrested by the Xinglongtai District State Security Team on August 3, 2005 and
given a 15-year sentence by the Xinglongtai District court on September 12,
2005. Shengyang prison refused to accept her because she was physically too
weak. At the end of October, the Panjin City Political and Judiciary Committee
Secretary Liu Desheng used their connection with Shenyang Prison City and took
her to Shenyang Police Hospital. She's currently detained at the 1st team of
Shenyang Women Prison.
Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
1. Lan Ruenzhi, female, in her 50s, is a technician in Bohai Town. She was
sentenced to 3 years of forced labor in 2003. She's currently detained beyond
her sentence at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
2. Jiang Xiulan, female, in her 40s, from Xinli, Dawa County. Illegally arrested
on July 13, 2005. Illegally sentenced to 2 years and sent to Masanjia Forced
Labor Camp. She is still detained there.
3. Xie Dong, female, in her 40s, a teacher at Liaohe Oil Field Xinglong First
Middle School (Zuanjing Middle School). Sentenced to one-and-a-half years of
forced labor in November 2005 and was taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She
is still detained there.
4. Su Yan, female, in her 40s, is a family member of an employee of Liaohe Oil
Field Research Institute. In 2000 she was sentenced by the Oil Field 610
Office to 2 years and was taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. In November
2005, she was sentenced by Xinglongtai District Security to another 2 years and
was again taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She is still detained there.
5. Wu Xuehui, female, in her 40s, is a teacher at Liaohe Oil Field Deaf School.
At the beginning of 2000, she was sentenced by the Liaohe Public Security to a
year-and-a-half of forced labor and taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. At the
end of November 2005, she was taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp again by
Panjin City police for another year-and-a-half. She is still detained there.
6. Liu Shaoman, female, in her 60s, a retired teacher from Liaohe Oil Field
Physical Exploration Inc. Elementary School and lives at Xinglongtai Oil Field
Research Community. In November 2005 she was sentenced by Panjin Xinglongtai
State Security Team to a year of forced labor and taken to Masanjia Forced Labor
Camp. She is still detained there.
7. Zhou Yanhong, female, about 40, is employed at Lujin's oil field. She was
illegally arrested by the Xinglongtai State Security Team and sentenced to a
year of forced labor. She was taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She is
currently on medical release.
Benxi Forced Labor Camp:
Zhang Yanhuan, male, an employee of the Petrochemical General Plant in Liaohe
Oil Field. He was sentenced to 3 years at Panjin Forced Labor Camp. In November
2005, he was again arrested and sentenced to 2 years of forced labor. He is
currently at Benxi Forced Labor Camp.
Shenxin Forced Labor Camp:
Guo Yulong, male, close to 40 years of age, is an engineer at Liaohe Oil Field.
He was sentenced to 3 years at Panjin Forced Labor Camp at the end of 2000.
Later on, they sentenced him to another year of forced labor. In 2004, he was
illegally arrested and taken to the Fushun Brainwashing Center. In September, he
was arrested at Panjin and sentenced to 1 year of forced labor. He is detained
illegally at Shenxin Forced Labor Camp.

Tieli City illegally arrested ten practitioners, who later were sentenced to
imprisonment by the Tieli City Middle Court. The ten practitioners are: Mr. Zhou
Shuhai, Mr. Liu Hongtu, Mr. Zhou Shuzhang, Ms. Lu Mei, Mr. Sun Yuemin, Mr. Liang
Bin, Mr. Cheng Peifeng, Ms. Tong Yuxia, Ms. Sun Yuqiu, and Mr. Zhu Hui.
According to a confirmed, reliable source, the authorities of Tieli City want to
transfer the ten practitioners to another facility, and the practitioners have
had blood drawn for blood typing tests.
Due to the many publicly exposed cases of organ harvesting from living Falun
Gong practitioners currently held in concentration camps by the Chinese
Communist Party, this has caused many conscientious people to worry for the ten
practitioners.
Therefore, we are calling on every available practitioner to send forth
righteous thoughts in order to disintegrate all of the evil factors currently
persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, eliminate all of the Communist Party evil
spirits in other dimensions, completely oppose all the old forces arrangements
and aid the immediate and unconditional release of the ten arrested
practitioners.
Mr. Zhou Shuhai was a staff member from the Policy Research Section of the
Yichun City Government. He was arrested on October 29, 2005, and later sentenced
to five-and-a-half years of imprisonment.
Mr. Liu Hongtu is a 37-year-old from the Donggang Community, of Tieli County,
Tieli City. He was arrested on September 26, 2005, and sentenced to five years
of imprisonment.
Mr. Zhou Shuzhang is 41 years old. He was arrested on October 29, 2005, and
sentenced to four-and-a-half years of imprisonment.
Ms. Lu Mei was 43 years old. She was arrested on September 28, 2005, and
sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment.
Mr. Sun Yuemin is a 30-year-old. He was arrested in October, 2005, and sentenced
to three-and-a-half years of imprisonment.

(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Qingfu, a Dafa practitioner from Songyuan,
Jilin Province, was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. On
April 20, he was sent to Jiutai City Forced Labor Camp in Jilin, where he was
persecuted so severely that he could not walk. On May 5, Wang Qingfu started a
hunger strike to protest the cruel persecution against him, and he was brutally
force-fed. His family members worried about Mr. Wang's life and went to Jiutai
Forced Labor Camp to request a visit with him, but the labor camp refused them.
Wang Qingfu was illegally arrested by the police sub-station in a suburb of
Qianguo County on April 18, 2006. On April 20, 2006 he was sent to the
disciplinary team at the Jiutai forced labor camp, Jilin Province, and was
subsequently sentenced to three years of forced labor.
On May 8, 2006, when the family of Wang Qingfu went to visit him, the forced
labor camp refused them. Later, upon the repeated request of his family members,
they were allowed to see him. Mr. Wang could not walk as normal and had to be
supported by others. His wrists showed deep scars made by handcuffs. Wang Qingfu
said that the scars resulted from his being shackled to a bed with his arms and
legs spread wide.
In just over twenty days, the previously healthy Mr. Wang Qingfu was tortured to
a precarious condition. His face became sallow, he could not walk without the
help of others and he had wounds and scars all over his body. Under this
circumstance, on May 5, Wang Qingfu started a hunger strike to protest the
torture against him and he was force-fed every day. On May 12, his family
members worried about his safety and again went to Jiutai Forced Labor Camp to
visit, but the forced labor camp forbade them from seeing him. The officials at
the labor camp dodged the family and nobody would come out to reply to them. Mr.
Wang's family said that they would by all means appeal and secure justice for
Wang Qingfu.
We hope that all Dafa disciples who read this alert, inside or outside China,
will call or write to the family members of Wang Qingfu. Please reinforce them
with righteous thoughts and completely disintegrate all the evil factors that
participate in the persecution of Dafa disciples, and help secure the
unconditional release of Wang Qingfu.

Camp is a strictly monitored division that specializes in persecuting Dafa
practitioners. In recent years, labor camp guards have viciously tormented
determined practitioners. Disclosed below are facts about four persecuted
practitioners.
Mr. Miao Jianguo: In order to resist the persecution, at the end of 2005, Miao
Jianguo undertook a hunger strike. Ten days later, he was very weak and was
delivered to a hospital. On December 1, when he was on the brink of death, the
authorities put him on medical parole. However, on the next day, Li Songtao and
his followers from the Jinzhou City Forced Labor Camp broke into Mr. Miao's
home. They arrested him and sent him back to the 2nd Division for further
persecution. At the labor camp, Bai Jinlong (the 2nd Division head) and camp
guards forced Miao Jianguo to sit on a 14-inch long wooden stool. He was forced
to sit there from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. A week later, Mr. Miao once again started a
hunger strike to protest the persecution. The camp guards bound him to a chair
and force-fed him. Several inmates held him firmly. They inserted a feeding tube
into his nose and poured in milk. Mr. Miao's nose started to bleed, and the milk
was spilled everywhere. Two weeks later, Li Fenglin, deputy director of the
labor camp, lied to Mr. Miao, "If you stop your hunger strike, we will reduce
your sentence by three months." Around February 20, 2006, Miao Jianguo undertook
a hunger strike for the third time. He suffered barbaric force-feeding and
torture. Every time camp guards Bai Jinlong, Li Songtao, and the others
force-fed Mr. Miao, they would call his family and ask for one hundred yuan as
a payment for the milk formula. The guard in charge of the force-feeding was
Yang Tinglun.
Mr. Qi Mingli: Currently covered in scabies, he can't stretch his legs. His
eyesight is failing, as he can only see things within a two-meter range. Around
December 10, 2005, Qi Mingli and Liu Quanwang started a hunger strike. Camp
guard Bai Jinlong sought help from guards of other divisions. Together, they
took the two Dafa practitioners into a secret room and used electric batons on
them for a long time. They intimidated the practitioners to make them give up
the hunger strike. The two practitioners were covered with bruises. The scabies
on Mr. Qi's body were due to torture and deprivation of sunlight for a long
period of time. Former deputy director of the labor camp Li Fenglin said to Mr.
Qi, "If you "transform", I will reduce your sentence by a year. Otherwise, I
will not let you see sunlight, nor will I allow you to go outside or take a
shower. I will let you rot in here." When Qi Mingli first arrived at the labor
camp, Chen Changbin forced him to sit on a metal chair for three consecutive
days. After that, Mr. Qi began to suffer from scabies.
Mr. Shao Minggang: In the spring of 2004, Dafa practitioner Shao Minggang was
arrested by the Jinzhou City State Security Bureau. After his arrest, policemen
used lighters to burn his lower jaw. Then, Li Xiejiang, a policeman from the
610 Office, beat him badly. His face was disfigured as a result. When Mr. Shao
was delivered to the labor camp, he started a hunger strike. Guards in the 2nd
division forced him to sit on a stool. They force-fed him as well. During the
force-feeding, former deputy director Li Fenglin was present. He ordered guards
to use a large quantity of salty water for the force-feeding. Some guards from
the management section and education section also participated in the torture.
Later, guards and inmates made attempts to forcefully "transform" Mr. Shao day
and night. The torture and persecution caused Mr. Shao's blood pressure to reach
240. He had to be moved to a patient room.
Currently, there are five Dafa practitioners in the patient room. They are Shao
Minggang, Liu Cheng, Li Yong, Jiao Lin, and Hu Shaowei. They are all showing
symptoms of illness.
Mr. Liu Cheng: He is from Yi Town. In October 2004, guards of the 2nd Division
tried to "transform" Dafa practitioners. They tied up Liu Cheng's legs and used
electric batons on him. Several hours later, when Liu Cheng was untied, he
couldn't move at all. This torture rendered him unable to walk for over a year.
He couldn't relieve himself without assistance. Inmates had to carry him to the
restroom. There are four vicious inmates there. They are Feng Ying, Pan Xuehai,
Zhang Tiejun, and a man from Xinzhili known only as "Yellow Hair."
In the 2nd Division, the following practitioners are under strict supervision:
Li Lianjun (from Linghai), Hu Shaowei (from Hulu Island), Weng Hongjun (from
Liaoyang), Liu Quanwang (from Hulu Island), Liu Cheng (from Yi Town), Li Yong
(from Yi Town), Jiao Lin (from Dandong), and Jinzhou City's Qi Mingli, Shao
Minggang, and Miao Jianguo.
The most vicious guards in the 2nd Division include Bai Jinlong, Li Songtao,
Zhang Chunfeng, and Yang Tinglun. They forbid practitioners from going
downstairs, and they don't allow practitioners to see sunlight. It has been five
months since the 2nd Division forbade determined practitioners from going
downstairs and outside. They didn't allow them to take showers regularly.
Practitioners are only permitted to shower occasionally and only with cold
water. They don't permit talking, don't allow family visits, and refuse to
deliver the food sent by the practitioners' families. Practitioner Liu Xueyuan
was a faculty member at the Jinzhou Medical School. One time, his mother
traveled from a village near Dalian City to visit him. The elderly woman
traveled for a long time by bus and by train. She brought some peanuts for her
son, but the guards firmly refused to allow her to give them to him. She had no
choice but to take them back with her.
(Clearwisdom.net) Twenty-nine Falun Dafa practitioners in Changde
City, Hunan Province were seized on December 20, 2005. Some of them were
released, some sent to labor camps, and some faced illegal trials. We know that
the following fellow practitioners now face trial: He Bolian, Yin Hong, Zhang
Chuntao, Shi Yuhua, Yang Dongzhi, Yang Fu, Wang Xiaoqun, and Guo Zhaoqing.
Zhang Chuntao was seized on December 20, 2005. He went on a hunger strike to
protest the persecution and was released before the Chinese New Year. On
February 2, 2006 he was taken away again, and is presently illegally detained
in the Changde City detention center. His life is in danger. At present Shi
Yuhua's life is also in danger. However, the chief of the Changde City police
department ordered that Shi Yuhua was not to be released, claiming that he
himself will take the responsibility if Shi Yuhua dies.
On about April 22, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Guo Zhaoqing and two others
escaped from a hospital in Li County, Changde area with their righteous
thoughts. At present their whereabouts is unclear. Notices have been posted
everywhere in Changde City offering a reward in order to catch them. It is said
that whoever provides news about the practitioners will get a monetary reward of
5,000 to 10,000 yuan.
It was reported that last year in Changde City, a few Falun Dafa practitioners
were tracked for a very long time. The local government organs were rewarded for
destroying Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials production sites. The
destruction of one materials production site resulted in the arrest of many
Falun Dafa practitioners. There appeared many indications beforehand. Some
practitioners found they were being followed many times, some found they were
photographed or that someone had broken into their rented house leaving the
contents inside untouched. Some heard their landlord saying that National
Security personnel asked whether certain people lived there while showing their
pictures. Obviously, there were security loopholes, and the practitioners did
not pay enough attention. Some individual practitioners who were alerted, were
even labeled by others as having fears.

1. Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Chen Guanghua worked for the Ministry of Finance
in Yuxi City. In January 2005, Hongta District National Security personnel and
officials from the Yuxi 610 Office, Zhu Jiayong, Ren Haiyan and other police
officers broke into Mr. Chen's home and illegally arrested him.
They detained Chen Guanghua illegally in the Hongta District Detention Center.
In July 2005, the Hongda District Court sentenced him to 3 years in a forced
labor camp. Mr. Chen was tortured inhumanely there. On the seventh day of his
hunger strike to protest against the persecution, they force-fed him. The rough
tube that they used punctured his nose, throat, and stomach. He suffered from
bleeding in his stomach. Currently, Chen Guanghua is detained in the Yunnan
First Prison.
2. Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Shen Yueping was a doctor at the Institute for
Women and Children's Health in Yuxi City. In 2000, when she appealed for justice
for Falun Gong in Beijing, police officers illegally arrested her. After they
detained her in the Hongta Detention Center for one month, an officer from the
Yuxi 610 Office directly transferred Ms. Chen to the Kunming Forced Labor Camp.
She was sentenced to a 2-year term in the forced labor camp.
In December 2004, Shen Yueping and her husband Pu Zhiming ran into fellow
practitioners Hu Xianding and Niu Yuqiong at a Hongta District Trade Show.
Police officers, who had long been watching those practitioners, then detained
them using the excuse that they were "conducting Falun Gong activities." Those
practitioners were sentenced to between 1-5 years in a forced labor camp in May
2005.
Shen Yueping started a hunger strike protesting the persecution in the detention
center. The authorities then sentenced her to a 5-year term. She persists in her
belief and refuses to write the so-called "Statement of Repentance" and
Guarantee Statement. Ms. Shen often suffers from physical abuse and has been
tortured physically and mentally.
Currently, Shen Yueping is being detained in the Yunnan Second Prison.
3. Practitioner Ms. Niu Yuqiong is a retired staff member from the Yuxi City
Geological Team. The authorities illegally arrested and sent her to a detention
center because she chatted with practitioner Hu Xianding and other friends.
Police officers had been watching her for a long time.
Soon after more than 10 police officers illegally searched their home, Ms. Niu's
husband questioned them on why they had arrested her without reason. Then three
police officers tortured him until his head was bleeding. His children wanted to
help him but they were beaten as well. The faces of his daughter and his son
were swollen and bruised. They could not help their father.
Niu Yuqiong was detained in the Hongta District Detention Center for six months.
She started a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was then tortured
severely. In May 2005, the Hongta District Court sentenced her to 2 years in a
labor camp. Currently, Niu Yuqiong is being held in the Yunan Second Prison.
4. Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Deng Cuiping was a teacher at the Zhenliuzongqi
Elementary School in Yuxi City. While teaching class in 2005, she said, "Falun
Dafa is good and Falun Gong tells people to be good." One student's parents
reported her. She was subsequently arrested and subjected to persecution by Wan
Xueyuan and Li Xiufeng. Ms. Deng has not been allowed to teach classes since
then.
On April 8, 2006, Deng Cuiping, Hua Lanxian and Gu Liqing clarified the truth
to people and sent out truth-clarification materials. They were then arrested by
the Hongta District National Security Office. Currently, Deng Cuiping is being
detained by the Yuxi 610 Office in the Jiangchuan Detention Center. Meanwhile,
Hua Lanxian and Gu Liqing were also arrested and are being held in the Hongta
District Detention Center.

Guanghan City, Sichuan Province is over 70 years old. In 2002, Mrs. Zhang was
arrested by Guangxing Town police when she was clarifying the facts in
Gaungxing. She was transferred to the Guanghan City Detention Center on the same
day. Mrs. Zhang was released fifteen days later. In August 2003, Zhang Daju was
arrested again and sentenced to eight years of forced labor. Mrs. Zhang is now
imprisoned in Longquanyi, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province.
Mr. Yang Shouming is a practitioner in Huilong Village, Nanxing Town, Guanghan
City, Sichuan Province. He is also over 70 years old. Mr. Yang is Zhang Daju's
husband. Because Yang Shouming practices Falun Gong, the Nanxing Police have
repeatedly harassed and intimidated him. In 2003, the police forcibly searched
Mr. Yang's house and beat him until he fell unconscious. When Mr. Yang regained
consciousness, he was transferred to the Guanghan City Detention Center and was
persecuted further over there. Yang Shouming was detained for over six months
and then sentenced to eleven years of forced labor. Mr. Yang is now imprisoned
in the Huangxu Town Jail in Deyang City, Sichuan Province.
Mr. Yang Yourun, 31, is a practitioner in the Heping Team Ten of Nanxing Town,
Guanghan City, Sichuan Province. He worked for the Guanghan City Carbon Factory.
On February 2, 2002, Mr. Yang was arrested for clarifying the facts in Huanxi
Team Eleven in Nanxing Town. He was sentenced to six years of forced labor. Yang
Yourun is now imprisoned in Deyang City's Jiuwu Factory, located in Sichuan
Province.
Mrs. Zhang Runzhi, 44, is a practitioner in Eshe, Xinping Village, Guanghan
City, Sichuan Province. On July 12, 2002, she was arrested for clarifying the
facts. Mrs. Zhang was sentenced to five years of forced labor. She is now
imprisoned in Longquanyi, Chengdu City.
Ms. Zhao Xianchang, 35, was a teacher in Guangshan Middle School in Guanghan
City, Sichuan Province. In June 2000, Ms. Zhao went to Beijing to appeal for
justice for Falun Gong. She was detained for fifteen days by police officer
Jiang Tianxing. On December 23, 2000, Zhao Xianchang was arrested again by
officer Jiang for clarifying the facts. She was sentenced to two years of forced
labor. Because Ms. Zhao refused to renounce her belief, she was arrested at her
office by Yang Changjin from the Education Bureau and officer Jiang at 3:00 p.m.
on June 21, 2004. Ms. Zhao was fired from her job and was sentenced to three
years of forced labor. Zhao Xianchang is now imprisoned in the Nanmusi Women's
Labor Camp in Zizhong County, Sichuan Province.
Mr. Wu Tianchong, over 40, is a practitioner in Team 1 of Guangxing Town,
Guanghan City, Sichuan Province. In September 2001, he was arrested by Guangxing
Town police. He was released after serving two years in forced labor. On April
6, 2004, the Guangxing police and members of the 610 Office broke into Mr. Wu's
home and arrested him. Wu Tianchong was sentenced again to three years of forced
labor and is now imprisoned in Xinhua Prison, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province.
(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Wanxing, a Chinese political dissident who now
lives in Germany, was detained in Beijing Ankang Hospital for thirteen years
after openly calling for justice after the June 4th massacre in 1992. The
hospital is a psychiatric hospital which detains criminals, political dissidents
and Falun Gong practitioners. Last August, with the efforts of the international
society, Wang Wanxing was reunited with his family in Germany.
For two of three years in Ankang Hospital, Wang Wanxing was looked after by a
male nurse working there. The nurse was also a policeman, as well as a Falun
Gong practitioner. Because of the growing internal pressure from the police
system, he was forced to resign. Wang Wanxing once promised this Falun Gong
practitioner that, if one day he could leave the hospital, he would tell the
whole world about this Falun Gong practitioner's story. He also met two other
Falun Gong practitioners being detained in Ankang Hospital.
At Ankang Hospital, Wang Wanxing also encountered another incident related to
Falun Gong. On December 16, 2001, the Chinese Communist Party's media
broadcasted a program called "Fu Yibin murders father and wife" to slander Falun
Gong. Fu Yibin himself was sent to Ankang Hospital after the case. After talking
to him when he was fully alert and awake, Wang Wanxing found that that he wasn't
a Falun Gong practitioner.
Below is Wang Wanxing's personal statement:
"I was arrested in 1992 after openly calling for justice after the June 4th
incident, and then sent to Beijing Ankang Hospital. They said that I was a
political maniac, but in other countries this wouldn't be seen as a mental
problem at all. On July 22, 2002, I was transferred to the third class of the
first division, and there I met a male nurse called Jing Guoqiang who was also a
policeman and he was responsible for looking after me. He was about forty years
old. We have had many deep and meaningful conversations, and he told me he
practices Falun Gong. His wife and child also practice. He also talked to me a
lot about Falun Gong, for example about Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance and so
on.
At that time, all of the Ankang Hospital's nurses were policemen. All over the
country there were more than twenty Ankang Hospitals, and the police set them up
to exclusively detain criminals with mental problems as well as political
criminals like me and Falun Gong practitioners. At the end of 2004, before the
start of 2005, all the nurses there were policemen. But afterwards due to
external pressure, for example they said that if all the nurses were policemen
it would be impossible to align with international standards. Therefore they
also recruited people who have graduated from nursing academies.
Everyone knew that Jing Guoqiang practiced Falun Gong, but at the beginning, the
hospital could tolerate that, maybe because he was so good at his job. He was
especially friendly to the patients; and he was very popular and had lots of
patience. He was also very good to me and treated me as a friend and held
conversations with me. When he wanted to appeal for Falun Gong in Tiananmen
Square I really didn't want him to go, because I knew that he would be arrested.
I told him that if he went to Tiananmen to appeal for Falun Gong, there would be
no one so good to look after me. I also said to him, if I could leave the
hospital I would tell everyone about his story. In the end, he did not go to
Tiananmen Square. His wife, I think her name was Li Guifen, went and she was
sentenced to forced labor for a year and a half. Their child was very small at
the time; I think their kid was still going to preliminary school.
However in 2004, the public security ministry issued a document which stated
that anyone who persisted in practicing Falun Gong would be fired automatically
without exception. In the end there was an internal meeting in the hospital. Lei
Guoqiang felt that the pressure was huge, and he was forced to resign.
In the end I lost track of him. I wrote to the head of the Ankang Hospital, the
Police Station, the National Security Bureau, telling them about the story of
Lei Guoqiang. I also told them that persecuting Falun Gong would lose the
people's trust. I never stopped writing letters.
Another thing is, a few years ago there was a case of the "Fu Yibin murder." At
the time I heard on the radio that this Fu Yibin was a Falun Gong practitioner.
Later, he was also sent to Ankang Hospital, because all criminals with mental
problems were sent here. He was in the class two of the first division while I
was in class three. I found an opportunity to ask him whether if he did practice
Falun Gong. Because I knew whatever the CCP said could not be trusted, I was
looking for evidence. He told me that for a very short time he practiced Falun
Gong and then quit. When he committed the murders, he had stopped practicing
Falun Gong.
At Ankang Hospital I also met two other female Falun Gong practitioners, who
were detained for about a year between 2003 and 2004, but then I don't know
where they are now. I don't know if there were more practitioners detained in
the hospital.
I can only say this much for them here. Lots of Falun Gong practitioners are
still being persecuted in China while nobody knows about them. As for those who
have been persecuted to death, they cannot speak out for themselves anymore.

Gross abuses under the persecution at the Harbin Women's Prison in 2003, 2004
and 2005
Since March 8, the lawless officials at the Group Drill Division at the Harbin
Women's Prison handcuffed Dafa practitioner Tao Hongmei to a heating pipe in an
office. Lu Jinghua, a division head, tortured Dafa practitioners Wang Mingyan
and others for six months by handcuffing their arms behind their backs since
September 2003. Between 2004 and 2005, Dafa practitioners Jiang Yuhui, Feng
Guojun, Li Zhenying and Liu Hui were beaten, and practitioner Liu Hui was beaten
by Tao Dandan. Dafa practitioner Chang Xueju was tortured for two months after
March 10, 2004. She was physically abused and assaulted. During the day, guard
Sun Haixin slapped her more than 20 times until her face swelled up and she bled
from her mouth. The guards then ordered inmates to force Wang Haixia to squat.
Dafa practitioner Yan Jinbo has been severely persecuted since 2005 and was
forced to renounce her belief in Falun Dafa.

When practitioners protested the persecution by refusing to work, guards at the
Jiamusi Men's Prison tied them up and threw them into ditches in the rice
fields.
Persecution of Dafa practitioners at Jiamusi Women's Labor Camp in 2004
In 2004, male guards at Jiamusi Women's Labor Camp struck Dafa practitioners who
refused to give up their belief with rubber-covered metal sticks and shocked the
practitioners with electric batons. They knocked out two of practitioner Li
Guiqin's front teeth, and her blood was all over the floor. Four or five
practitioners lost consciousness from the brutal beating, and the perpetrators
stabbed them with needles. Liu Yuekun and guard Mu Zhenjuan were the main
perpetrators of this persecution.
Torture of Dafa practitioners at the Hegang Men's Labor Camp
In 2001, persecutors at the Hegang Men's Labor Camp tortured Dafa practitioners
by hammering toothpicks underneath the practitioners' nail beds and striking the
fingernails with hammers. After each strike with the hammer, they would ask the
practitioner if he agrees to write a statement renouncing Dafa. If the
practitioner refused, the hammering would continue until all ten fingers were
crushed.
In 2002, several Dafa practitioners did the Falun Gong exercises at the No. 2
Detention Center of Hegang City. Each of the more than 50 practitioners had
their legs forced apart by a 4-ft. steel bar while being forced to lie on the
concrete ground. They were forbidden to sleep for one month.

Dafa practitioners He Jiansheng and his wife, Liang Xiaoyan own a hardware store
called Xinji, in Xiqiao County of Nanhai City, Guangdong Province. They and
their daughter, He Sihui, are frequently harassed, illegally arrested and
illegally detained by the authorities because of their belief in Falun Gong. On
July 17, 2003, police officers went to their store and performed an illegal
search. Ms. Liang Xiaoyan was then taken to the Nanhai detention center for
persecution. On the night of April 30, 2006, He Jiansheng and Liang Xiaoyan were
taken away again by the police. Their whereabouts are currently unknown. There
is no one taking care of their little daughter.

Dongkou County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, provided for the reference of the

3. Ms. Li Sulian, 70, lived in Longshan Street, Dongkou Town, Dongkou County.
She was arrested in 2004 by policemen of the Dongkou Town Station when she was
passing out truth clarifying flyers, and was sentenced to three years in prison.
She is still detained in the Changsha City Women"s Prison.
4. Ms. Zeng Liaoyuan, 63, lived in the Zengjiaqiao Neighborhood, Gaosha Town,
Dongkou County. She was arrested in 2004 by policemen from the Gaosha Town
Station as she passed out truth clarifying flyers, and was sentenced to seven
years in prison. She is still detained in the Changsha City Women Prison.
5. Mr. Xiao Zhanhao, 63, lived in the Zengjiaqiao Neighborhood, Gaosha Town,
Dongkou County. He was arrested in 2004 by policemen from the Gaosha Town
Station when passing out truth clarifying flyers, and was sentenced to eight
years in prison. He is still detained in the Sixth Ward, Wangling Prison in
Zhuzhou City.
6. Ms. Yang Xiaolan, 43, lived in the Zengjiaqiao Neighborhood, Gaosha Town,
Dongkou County. She was arrested in 2005 by policemen from the Gaosha Town
Station when passing out truth clarifying fliers. She was brutally beaten by
policemen, and was sentenced to three years in prison. She is still detained in
the Changsha City Women's Prison.
7. Ms. Ouyan Zuowei, 60, lived in Gaosha Town, Dongkou County. She was arrested
in 2005 by policemen of the Gaosha Town Station while she was passing out truth
clarifying flyers, and was sentenced to 18 months in prison. She is still
detained in the Changsha City Women's Prison.
8. Mr. Yuan Guoshao, 60, lived in the Gaosha Town Bus Station Area, Gaosha Town,
Dongkou County. He was arrested in June 2005 by policemen from the Gaosha Town
Station when he was passing out truth clarifying fliers. He was sentenced to 18
months in prison and he is still detained in Changsha City Xinkaipu Prison.
9. Mr. Su Daigui, 60, lived in Yunfeng Village, Gaosha Town, Dongkou County. He
was locked in a brainwashing class in 2005 by policemen of the Gaosha Town
Station, and was sentenced to 18 months in prison. He is still detained in the
Changsha City Xinkaipu Prison, and he is extremely emaciated.
10. Mr. Ouyang Huashan, 50, lived in the Jinzipu Neighborhood, Wugang City,
Hunan Province. He was arrested by policemen from the Gaosha Town Station as he
passed out truth clarifying flyers, but has been missing ever since.
11. Ms. Wang Aiyu, 40, lived on Taiping Street, in Dongkou Town, Dongkou County.
She was arrested in early March 2006 by policemen of the Wugang City Department
as she was passing out truth clarifying materials. She was detained in Wugang
City. Her case is being handled by the Shaoyang City Police Department.

and also the Internet police to help arrest practitioners. The case is still

On the evening of March 30, 2006, when practitioner Ms. Xu Xiufen from Leqing

arrested them and put them into the Shaoxing City Huashe Detention Center.
On April 30, 2006, personnel from the Shaoxing City Police Department sentenced
Xu Xiufen to one and a half years of imprisonment. She is being held at the
Huzhou City Deqing's Moganshan Women's Forced Labor Camp. The whereabouts of the
nanny is unclear.
With exposure of the crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong

Lengthy Prison Terms - Belated News from 2003
On December 23, 2003, practitioners Zhao Jianshe, Zhang Zunyu and Zhang Zunliang
from Weifang City, Shandong Province were sentenced to 9, 8, and 7 years of
imprisonment, respectively by the Nanjing City Court. Zhao Jianshe was carried
into the court while connected to an IV drip and was carried back following
sentencing. He is in critical condition after a six-month hunger strike to
protest the persecution. All three practitioners were emaciated due to ongoing
abuse in detention.
The police have not notified Zhao Jianshe's family about his arrest and the
trial. When Mr. Zhao's family went to see him at Nanjing City Detention Center
on January 5, 2004, the police prohibited the visit. Zhao Jianshe is still in
danger.

Given a One-year Prison Sentence
On the morning of December 9, 2005, 70-year-old practitioner Mr. Wan Lingong
from Jianyang City, Sichuan Province rode a bicycle with truth-clarifying
materials to Pingquan Town and Shijia Town. Some patrolling police found him and
arrested him.
On February 22, 2006, Mr. Wan was sentenced to one year of forced labor at
Jianyang City Court. He did not acknowledge the verdict and appealed to the
Ziyang City Intermediate Court. The intermediate court opened a secret trial,
but closed hastily due to Wan Lingong's reasonable queries.
At the end of April 2006, the intermediate court upheld the verdict, but the
verdict certificate was issued on March 28.
During the imprisonment, Mr. Wan did not cooperate with the illegal requests
from police officers and refused to sign any documents. Wan Lingong is presently
being held at the Jianyang City Detention Center. He is writing to related
departments to appeal his case.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhihui from Beihai City was an elementary school teacher
working in Hepu County, Guangxi Province. In 2000, he was expelled from his post
only because he persisted in Falun Dafa practice. Later, Mr. Zhang was severely
tortured at Guangxi Autonomous Region Men's Forced Labor Camp for exposing the
persecution against Falun Dafa.
After Zhang Zhihui's release from the forced labor camp following an extended
term, he and his practitioner wife went to another city to do heavy labor to
support their two children, ages three and four. According to the information we
have, one evening in March 2006, when Zhang Zhihui and his wife came back to the
city, five or six plainclothes personnel from the local 610 Office arrived in
an unmarked minivan and deceived Zhang Zhihui into opening the door, using the
excuse of checking their electric meter. They then forcibly arrested Zhang
Zhihui. To date, his whereabouts are still unknown.
9. [Beijing] Doctor Wang Anlin from Beijing Normal University is Missing

On the evening of April 20, 2006, personnel from the Qinghe Police Station
arrested practitioner Mr. Guo Shunqiang from his home in the Haidian District.
11. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Several Practitioners Held at the Madao
Detention Center
On the evening of May 5, 2006, six policemen from the Madao Railway Police
Station arrested practitioners Mei Yuhui, Liu Tianzhen, He Xianzhen, and Zeng
from Xichang City, and ransacked their homes. Currently Liu Tianzhen, He
Xianzhen, and Zeng are being held at the Madao Detention Center, together with
practitioner Li Bangsheng who was arrested in March 2006.
12. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Gu Yinghua Presumed Arrested
Recently retired practitioner Ms. Gu Yinghua from the Heping District, Shenyang
City, almost 50 years old, was previously an employee of the Laodaokou Railway
Hospital. On May 1, 2006 her friends discovered her two doors were wide open,
her bed was not as tidy as usual, and there were messy footprints on the floor.
Teacher's photo, Dafa books and related other items were missing. It is presumed
that she was arrested.
13. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Liao Chengbin Arrested
At around 3:00 p.m. on March 4, 2006, personnel from the Maoxi Police Department
ransacked practitioner Liao Chengbin's home and confiscated two copies of Dafa
books and a MP3 player. At present, Liao Chengbin is being held at Maoming
City's No. 1 Detention Center. The police refuse to release him.

Jinchun After Arrest
At 11:00 p.m. one night in late February 2006, a group of police officers broke
into practitioner Liang Jinchun's home in Maoming City. They arrested Liang
Jinchun and confiscated a computer, a cell phone and other personal belongings.
At present, Liang Jinchun is being held at Maoming City's No. 1 Detention
Center.
Police suspected that Liang Jinchun was a Falun Gong leader, while actually
Falun Gong is a cultivation system with no leaders. Liang Jinchun's wife decided
to divorce him. Personnel from the court asked his wife to sign a warrant to
arrest Liang Jinchun before they would approve the divorce. Liang Jinchun's
father also doesn't know the truth of Falun Gong.
15. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Kang Miqiao Arrested and Incarcerated at a
Detention Center
Practitioner Ms. Kang Miqiao, 60, is a retired employee from the Dezhou City No.
1 National Cotton Textile Mill. She was taken away twice for going to appeal for
Falun Gong in Beijing and had been extorted out of over 10,000 yuan, which
brought a huge burden on the family that earns only several hundred yuan a
month.
At around 5:00 a.m. on April 29, when Ms. Kang was distributing truth-clarifying
materials in a community near the Textile Mill's dormitories, patrolling
policemen arrested her and put her into the Hexi Police Station. She has now
been transferred to the Dezhou City Police Department Detention Center.
16. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] After Being Put into a Brainwashing
Class, Ms. Chen Xiaoxia's Whereabouts are Unknown
On February 10, 2006, personnel from the Maoming City 610 Office put
practitioner Ms. Chen Xiaoxia from Zhanjiang City into a brainwashing class. In
late March, she was secretly transferred somewhere else. Her whereabouts are
unknown.

truth-clarifying materials. Police plan to sentence her to forced labor.

A policeman named Jin Longyun brutally beat practitioner Ms. Xu Yufen.
19. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Liao Chengyu Disappears
At around 7:00 p.m. on April 25, 2006, practitioner Mr. Liao Chengyu from
Chengdu City went to practitioner Ms. Zhu Yifang's place. At that time,
personnel from 610 Offices in Chengdu City and Guangyuan City, along with
policemen, were ransacking Ms. Zhu's home. They arrested Mr. Liao and Ms. Zhu.
It is unknown where Liao Chengyu is being held.
20. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Supplemental Information about Two Arrested
Practitioners
On April 20, 2006, someone reported practitioners Ms. Cai Huaying, 58, and Ms.
Zhao Yuxia, 53, employees of the Ziyang City Locomotive Factory. It happened
when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials at Dayan Village.
Afterwards, personnel from Jianyang City arrested them and put them into
detention centers in both Ziyang City and Jianyang City. The police prohibited
visits from the practitioners' families.
21. [Beijing] Practitioners Ren Xu and Feng Lianyou Persecuted in the Tuanhe
Forced Labor Camp
Practitioners Mr. Ren Xu and Mr. Feng Lianyou are being held at the Tuanhe
Forced Labor Camp. Since they refused to write the so-called three statements,
they have been put into dark rooms. Police take turns brainwashing them, but
both practitioners are very steadfast.
22. [Pubei, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Practitioner Zhang Hua Arrested
The police arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Hua from Pubei City in Naning City.
His whereabouts are unknown.
23. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Persecution of Practitioner Ruan Jing
At around 11:20 a.m. on April 29, 2006, agents Wang Shouliang, Wang Bin, Pan and
others from the Political and Security Section broke into practitioner Ms. Ruan
Jing's home and forcibly arrested her. Afterwards they ransacked her home. Her
husband was not home at the time.
The next day, Wang Shouliang and other policemen sent Ruan Jing to the Baishan
City Central Hospital for a physical examination and then put her to into the
Xiaogou Police Party School in Baishan City.

presently being held at Beijing's No. 2 Detention Center.
(Clearwisdom.net) A "solemn declaration" is a person's public statement declaring to the world that whatever he or she has done or said under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa is null and void. Most of these statements have come from Falun Dafa practitioners in China who wished to express regret that, in the face of physical torture and brainwashing, they had signed documents renouncing Dafa and guaranteeing not to practice again. Also, as more and more people in China learn the truth about how they have been deceived and lied to by the Jiang regime, many non-practitioners are also submitting "solemn declarations."

(Clearwisdom.net) Several practitioners gathered to share their
experiences in cultivation. Practitioner A said, "I haven't been diligent
lately. When I practice the sitting meditation, I often doze off." Practitioner
B continued, "So do I. I even doze off when I send forth righteous thoughts for
ten minutes." Practitioner C echoed, "So do I. Not only do I doze off when I do
the exercises. I even sleep while studying the Fa. I thought it would be ok if
I slept for a while. I will only do it for one or two days. It is not so bad."
Some practitioners not only slack off in their Fa study and exercises, they also
slack off when they do truth clarification and distribute truth-clarification
materials. They say they haven't done so well for the past several days, such as
not bringing truth-clarification materials with them because they are on a
business trip. Therefore, when practitioners are together and one will say he
has slacked off in something, other practitioners will echo, "So have I. I
haven't been diligent in distributing truth-clarification materials either."
There will always be people who echo, "So do I." Doing this made those
practitioners who echo the others feel relieved, and forgive themselves. They
think that there are other people who are like them. It's not just them who is
experiencing this interference.
There are always people doing this. They live through this kind of
self-forgiveness and comfort-seeking, day after day and year after year. If one
wants to cultivate well, he must be diligent on the path to godhood. He must
break through the notion of "So do I."
The Fa-rectification process is advancing rapidly. The universe is expanding
non-stop. Like the cycles of sunrise and sunset and the four seasons, time flies
and does not wait for us. Recently, Master has said in the article, "The Closer
to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be,"
"Actually, if you think about it, the cultivators of the past didn't dare to
slack off for even a second, and that was when it took an entire lifetime to
complete the journey. So how can Dafa disciples--who are to achieve the
Attainment Status of a being who is saved by Dafa and who have the most
convenient cultivation way--not be even more diligent when they are given this
most glorious honor of Fa-validating cultivation in a brief cultivation period
that passes in the blink of an eye?"
As cultivators who are walking on the path to godhood and as Fa-rectification
period Dafa disciples, we need to complete the most sacred duties in one very
short lifetime, duties that would normally take past cultivators several
lifetimes to complete. The time we are given is very precious. The time given to
our cultivation itself is "precious beyond measure." In addition, many people
stopped cultivation after the persecution began. Some obtained the Fa very late.
Excluding the time delay caused by the evil persecution, most practitioners only
have seven or eight years to cultivate. Some have an even shorter time - five to
six years remaining to cultivate. If we are to complete our path to godhood in
seven to eight, or five to six years time - you do the calculation - isn't time
precious? If we think we can waste our time by saying, "So do I" and "So do I,"
we really do not have much time to waste.
There is a saying, "Time and the tides wait for no man," and, "Lost time cannot
be found." For the past several thousand years, even ordinary people know about
the preciousness of time. They know that "Today's tasks are to be completed
today." We are cultivators and we are extraordinary beings. We are beings
walking on the path to godhood. We are to finish this glorious and sacred duty
in our limited lifetime, in which we might only take ten to twenty years. We
should know the preciousness of time. We should, from the beginning, know that
time is "precious beyond measure." The words, "So do I" with respect to being
diligent does not mean that not being diligent is right. We need to be diligent
while walking on the path to godhood, until we reach consummation.
(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, I noticed that many practitioners have
been arrested. In some places they even arrested entire groups of practitioners.
However, in the face of such arrests, our efforts in exposing the evil on the
Internet, in our local areas, and the overall rescue work were not very
efficient. In specific areas, they have not even started to do rescue work. More
practitioners need to pay attention to this phenomenon!
During the event on "April 25", 1999, practitioners who appealed in Beijing
requested three things: One was to release the forty practitioners who had been
arrested in Tianjin. This action indicated that we, as cultivators, knew in our
minds that the persecution was unacceptable because it was not only aimed at
individuals but also at Teacher and Dafa. In addition, from the viewpoint of
everyday people, it is unreasonable to arrest practitioners for lawfully
appealing. From the viewpoint of the Fa-rectification, it is a malicious
sabotage to treat practitioners as criminals simply because they have
attachments. The persecution has lasted nearly seven years, but why do we
imperceptibly "acknowledge" that the evil arrests and detains practitioners?
This is also an acknowledgment of the arrangements of the old forces. It is time
to strengthen our righteous thoughts and to find our attachments that are
contributing to such thoughts and actions. We have to get rid of them by
cultivating ourselves better.
The arrests of practitioners were indeed caused by certain loopholes in our
cultivation, as well as doing things cultivators should not do, not correcting
these problems for a long time, and other reasons. However, those reasons should
not be excuses for persecution. For example, if someone has an unrestrained
personality and a weak sense of responsibility, that person may not be
appropriate to do important coordination work. However, this does not mean that
this person should be sent to a forced labor camp. Just like an athlete who does
not achieve a certain level because of poor performance, does that mean that he
or she should be sentenced to prison and tortured? These are not justifications.
Thus, when such things happen to our fellow practitioners, we, especially
practitioners in that area, all have a responsibility to rescue them in a timely
manner.
Each practitioner is precious. The old forces think that some practitioners
who are not qualified to be disciples of the Fa-rectification period should be
thrown into jail and tortured. They believe that if practitioners cannot have
righteous thoughts when they are beaten, they are bound to be destroyed.
Practitioners should not acknowledge any of this. The path of cultivation that
Teacher has arranged for each practitioner is to cultivate in ordinary human
society, not in prisons. It is to study the Fa every day, to discover and get
rid of our own attachments while doing the three things well, to gradually
become a qualified Fa-rectification Dafa Disciple -- but not to be put in jail,
brainwashed every day and forced to renounce Dafa, while not being able to hear
the Fa or to contact sentient beings who should be saved. While we are not
following the path arranged by the old forces, we also do not allow the old
forces to force other practitioners to follow that path. This is also a
manifestation of being responsible to fellow practitioners, people, Dafa and
ourselves.
We need to be aware that if we adopt some human methods and simply rescue others
for the purpose of rescuing them, such as giving bribes, compromising with the
evil by writing a guarantee statement and so on, these actions will not
disintegrate the persecution but will instead encourage the evil to continue. If
we allow the evil to persecute other practitioners in order to protect our fear,
it encourages the evil to continue the persecution.
At present, the most effective method to rescue fellow practitioners is to send
information about the persecution, the crimes taking place in forced labor
camps, and of the evil people's identities to the Minghui/Clearwisdom website,
so that these may be reported in a timely manner. Meanwhile, practitioners
should reveal the evil activities to local people. The more we clarify the
truth to people and the more we put our efforts into exposing the evil, then
the more the persecution can be disintegrated, and practitioners can be rescued.
Only with strong righteous thoughts can we save sentient beings and manifest the
power of Dafa.
The above is my personal understanding.
(Clearwisdom.net) After I read the "Solemn Declarations" by
practitioners, I decided to write a solemn declaration because I had turned in
Dafa books and didn't prevent my parents from burning the books. However the
Minghui/Clearwisdom website did not publish the solemn declaration I submitted.
Then I noticed that Minghui published other practitioners' written declarations
that I helped submit. Later, I resubmitted my declaration, but it was again not
published. I couldn't find the reason for this and temporarily dropped the
matter.
Recently, I was involved in a project that required a certain skill. However,
because for a long time I thought I held an attachment to this skill, I did not
learn it. But when the skill was needed I felt ill-prepared and it was very
difficult for me to be associated with this project. From this experience, I
suddenly realized that I thought I was cultivating well, but actually I was
evading everything that might eliminate my attachment. The method I used was the
technique adopted in cultivation systems of the past, when a cultivator tried
his best to inhibit those stubborn attachments and tried not to touch upon them,
instead of genuinely getting rid of the attachments, as a Dafa disciple should
do. I was walking the path that the old forces arranged for me. Now I truly
realized that it was not because I took a tortuous path in cultivation that my
declaration was not published, it was because I was not a Dafa disciple at all.
Teacher said,
"They don't realize it at all; their intentions are deeply concealed. Nowadays
people have become very crafty. People today know how to hide their attachments.
And then they hide the hiding of their attachments. When I look at this kind of
person I know it's really hard to save him. When I give him a hint about it, he
himself doesn't even realize this concealment of the thing he uses to hide his
hiding. What's more, when I point out his real problem--when my Law Bodies point
out his real problem--he tries to deceive my Law Bodies, as if he were dealing
with ordinary humans. He fakes it and says, 'Oh, I was wrong.' Then he again
finds another cover to hide what he's hidden--he uses another cover." ("Teaching
the Fa at the Assistants' Fa Conference in Changchun")
That is the core of all my problems. For a long time, I could not realize at all
that I was covering up my deep attachments using a seemingly noble excuse. When
facing tribulations, I told myself that it was a "test" and I "didn't care
about" worldly profits. However, what I really cared for was whether I would be
hurt. Dafa became my shelter and excuse to become disinterested in whatever the
outcome might be. On the surface, because I never pursued anything, I was
disinterested in whether I could gain anything or not. In actuality, I was
evading the reality rather than confronting it. I often had expectations for
things. For example, when I read fellow practitioners' experience sharing
articles on how they negated the old force's arrangements with righteous
thoughts and righteous actions, I wanted to be able to do so myself. When I
failed to do so, I would tell myself I didn't have any attachment to it and did
not care about the outcome. Deep inside, I was worried that what I cared about
would be lost, so I tried to deceive myself into believing that I was not
interested in it. It was not true cultivation. It was self-deception.
Before I became a practitioner, I pursued "perfection" among everyday people. I
am quite nice-looking and I was a very good student at school. Although I was
truant at times, I was able to quickly catch up because I was smart. In
addition, I am good at physical exercises and I am a quick learner in many
things. Because I have such advantages, I hoped to perfect myself. When I became
a practitioner, I paid attention to doing well and thought I could manifest the
goodness of a Dafa practitioner by doing so. On the surface, I was cultivating
myself, but I was doing well for the sake of doing things well, for the sake of
getting closer to the perfect image I had in my mind. I failed to assimilate to
Dafa unconditionally and to get rid of human thinking. Once a problem arose, I
would adjust my definition of "perfection" and try to do well based on my new
definition. My attachment to fame often popped up. It was also because I had
this kind of human notion.
I didn't recognize this problem for a long time. When it surfaced, I always
tried to cover it up. When an attachment manifested itself and it was time to
eliminate the attachment, I would imagine how I would behave otherwise or how I
would be in another state if I didn't have this attachment Then I would conduct
myself based on the "state" I imagined without the attachment. I seemed to be
cultivating, but in reality, I was still deceiving myself. I didn't want to
change myself fundamentally. Also, I didn't realize that this thought process
was not my true self.
Another attachment I had and always hid was the attachment to seeking other
people's recognition. When talking to other people or doing things, I always
tried to be very considerate and caring, and I was able to see their needs.
Oftentimes, I tried to avoid conflicts and helped others to resolve their
conflicts as a peacemaker. For a long time, I thought it was because I was
afraid of facing conflicts, so I encouraged myself to confront conflicts.
However, the results were always bad. I could not figure out what was wrong.
I have a good command of many skills and I am indeed very knowledgeable.
However, when compared with experts in these fields, I tended to ignore details.
Therefore, I often pretended to be modest, or when talking to an expert, I
touched upon the topic in his/her field and changed the subject to areas I knew
more about. I was actually trying to seek others' recognition and acknowledgment
that I knew many other things, because I knew quite a lot in his/her own field
and in addition, many other things in other areas. I was indeed very crafty.
I also tried to say every sentence and do every trivial thing more
appropriately. On the surface, being appropriate was meant to not hurt others,
but in essence, I was trying to get others to agree with my viewpoint without
hurting them, and to seek their recognition. I only sought to change others, but
not to change myself. All my attachments were hidden in a crafty way, and I
always tried to cover up my notions using the excuse that my human notions were
actually at play. When I realized this, I thought I was really a poor
practitioner.
Although I thought I was a cultivator, I now realized that in the past, I had
been an everyday person, and my conduct was that of an everyday person, an
everyday person who believed that Falun Dafa was great. I was not a cultivator.
I got to know Dafa in 1997 through my aunt. At the time, I believed in Dafa
without a second thought and I thought I was a cultivator. However, I didn't
even read through Zhuan Falun once and I practiced the exercises only a couple
of times. I was a middle-school student then and I disliked one of the teachers.
After I developed the supernatural capabilities of celestial ear and mind
reading, I believed what I heard from my celestial ear and played truant. I
thought to myself that I was not attached to scores. My parents, who had great
expectations for me, started to object to my practice of Falun Gong. After the
evil Chinese Communist Party started persecuting Falun Gong, my parents
monitored me closely. I didn't study the Fa and didn't truly cultivate. As my
parents monitored me strictly, I could not keep in touch with other
practitioners. I was completely reduced to an everyday person. The only
difference was that deep in my heart, I knew the very basic morality required to
be a human being.
I am finding and rectifying these crafty notions and attachments. I'm
eliminating them. That is the purpose of my writing this article. I was not a
good Dafa student and my entire cultivation and enlightenment quality was very
poor, however Master never gave up on me. Later, when I was browsing the
Internet I obtained software that breaks through the Internet blockade. I
finally was able to watch the truth clarification video of the
"Self-immolation incident." All my confusions were dissolved. I could not hold
back my tears. I made up my mind to restart my cultivation in Dafa. From then
on, I became a true practitioner. I downloaded Dafa materials and began to study
the Fa and do the exercises all over again. I finally learned what I should do.
It's very difficult to describe my feelings. I started by clarifying the truth
to my best friends. Then I printed truth clarification materials and handed them
out on the street. From now on, I will do well and I will be able to do well. I
will conduct myself as a true practitioner, a noble and dignified Dafa disciple.
(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Dafa in March, 1999.
Because I was not very diligent, sickness interfered with me for five years.
Recently, I firmly held righteous thoughts and I was able to eliminate the evil
old forces' arrangement, and walked back onto the cultivation path in a
dignified and upright manner. Here I am going to share my experience with fellow
practitioners and hope those who have been interfered with by "sickness" can
find something to reference.
Not long after I obtained the Fa, the persecution started. Because I had not
studied the Fa well, I was frightened by this sudden evil battle. I failed to
continue the practice and at that time, the sickness got onto my body. I was
diagnosed with a cyst on my pancreas by the hospital. The medical treatment
brought no improvement. Afterwards, in a dream, I received Teacher's merciful
hint and returned to practice Falun Gong. I started Fa study and practicing the
exercises diligently again. During this time, while dressing, one day I suddenly
noticed a bulge on the left side of my body, in the exact location of the
pancreas. I was affected by this and didn't clearly realize that this was the
old forces' interference.
Later, I became aware that this was the old forces' persecution and I started to
negate and eliminate the sickness. Yet, I fell into another attachment, always
observing changes in my body intentionally or unintentionally. Just like Teacher
said, some practitioners haven't gotten rid of their fundamental attachments and
as things have piled up, in the end their tribulations get big.
"When problems occur, instead of searching for problems in their xinxing,
fundamentally improving themselves, or truly letting go of the matter and coming
through in an open and dignified manner by another route, they focus on the
thing at hand--"Goodness... why is it that I still can't overcome this thing? I've
done better today, so it should have improved a little. Tomorrow I'll do even
better and it should improve some more." He can never let go of that thing. On
the surface it appears that he's letting it go--"Look, I'm doing well now."
You're doing well now but you are doing well now for its sake. You aren't doing
that for the purpose of doing what a true Dafa disciple should do!" ("Teaching
and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference ")
Then the old forces also managed to take advantage of my problem and kept
putting evil messages into my thoughts: "It's hopeless, you must go to the
hospital or you may die any time!" Moreover it became painful and the bulge
seemed to be getting bigger day by day. All kinds of thought karma came up. By
then, I also held a big attachment: I had not shared my situation with fellow
practitioners because I worried about creating a burden for my family members. I
also felt it'd be useless to let fellow practitioners know. In fact I hid my
attachment, not willing to let the others know that I was having such a problem.
Here I'd like to tell fellow practitioner that you should be sure not to hide
your own situation.
Afterwards, I shared my problem with my family and some fellow practitioners.
They helped me to look inward, and I found my attachment. In the meantime, I
strengthened my righteous thoughts and righteous faith. No matter whether it's a
good deed or a bad deed, I wouldn't acknowledge it in any case and wouldn't pay
attention to it. I eliminated every single negative thought: I am Teacher's
disciple, I'll only acknowledge Teacher's arrangements, and I will completely
eliminate all the evil manipulators and demons in other dimensions that
interfered with my validating the Fa, including the evil old forces and the
communist evil specter. Meanwhile, I diligently studied the Fa, doing the three
things well, breaking through in an open and dignified manner. At that time,
whenever a bad thought was reflected into my brain, I'd recite Teacher's writing
- "A Righteous God," "Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions," "Hong Yin 2,"
and "Your Main Consciousness Should Predominate" (Zhuan Falun). During the day
I studied the Fa more with an eased mind, shared more with fellow practitioners,
read more of "Minghui Weekly", let go of the illness completely, and did the
things that a Dafa practitioner is supposed to do.
Then, in November 2005, that large bulge suddenly disappeared, but my body felt
very uncomfortable. I knew that I should not acknowledge the old forces'
persecution, nor acknowledge the abnormal condition caused during the
elimination of the old forces. I continued to send forth righteous thoughts and
asked Teacher for support to eliminate the abnormal condition, and to do well
the three things as usual. In this way, the abnormal condition vanished. I felt
heartfelt gratitude to our merciful Teacher, grateful for Teacher's salvation. I
thought, "Who would ever know how much our merciful Teacher has suffered for us
disciples!" By then however, my heart developed a kind of joyfulness (the
attachment of zealotry) as well as the attachment of worrying about getting
zealotry. When studying the Fa, I realized that cultivation is a very serious
matter; our every single thought should follow the Fa so that we can do
everything well. Cultivation is quite complex; no matter what happens or what
situation arises, we should all follow the Fa. Only when we maintain faith in
our Teacher and in the Fa, can we become Dafa disciples during this Fa-rectification
period, only then can we fulfill our oath and accomplish our mission.
I hope that those fellow practitioners who have been interfered with by sickness
will wake up as soon as possible, put down their notions and attachments, and
become a dignified Dafa disciple during this Fa-rectification period!

following passages from Teacher's article, "Comments for Republication," in
Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa:
"... there is a tendency you should be cautious of: don't go looking for new and
unheard of things in Dafa. Some people do, in fact, constantly try to find out
what new things I have said, what new books have come out, what the new
direction is, other sorts of things, and so on. You need to calm your minds and
continue cultivating steadily. The truth is, no matter how many more scriptures
we publish, they are merely supplementary materials to Zhuan Falun. Only Zhuan
Falun can truly guide your cultivation. It contains inner meanings that go from
the level of ordinary people to incomparable heights. As long as you continue to
cultivate, Zhuan Falun will always guide your elevation in cultivation."
"The publication of this book, Explaining the Content, is also for the purpose
of guiding you to learn Zhuan Falun well. I hope that Dafa disciples can take
the Fa as their teacher, deter interference, and cultivate solidly--this is how a
person makes diligent progress."
On March 26, 2006, the "Minghui Weekly" reported that Teacher had attended the
Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference held in Manhattan and had spoken for an
hour. Upon learning the news, I eagerly awaited Teacher's new article to appear
on the website. Every time I logged onto the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, the
very first thing I did was to find out whether Teacher's speech had been
published or not. When I did not see the article, I had the feeling of being
lost. When I thought over this feeling more deeply, I asked myself what is this
feeling of being lost. It is a mindset of human attachments. Although a
cultivator longing for the Fa is understandable, we will not be meeting the
requirement of the Fa if we stick to this attachment, instead of cultivating
ourselves solidly.
When the news of the secret concentration camp became known, I had the strong
desire to hear Teacher's instructions on the issue. Then when I heard the news
of Teacher attending the New York conference, my mind became unstable. I could
not cultivate calmly and walk my own path of cultivation in dealing with the
situation. I had this strong desire to obtain a firm direction from Teacher.
Teacher had said:
"You cannot always rely on me to bring you up to a higher level while you,
yourself do not move. Only after the Fa is explicitly stated do you make a move.
If it is not taught clearly, you do not move, or move backward. I cannot
recognize such behavior as cultivation practice."("Digging Out the Roots,"
Essentials for Further Advancement)
Every time a new circumstance appears, we need to cultivate ourselves solidly in
order to have righteous thoughts in which to face and comprehend the situation,
instead of always depending on Teacher to give us direction. Only when we
solidly study Zhuan Falun, will we understand everything. We need to strictly
take the Fa as Teacher. We need to walk our own path through studying the Fa. We
need to establish our mighty virtue. We cannot hold onto Teacher's hand and not
let go.
What do we do when we take the Fa as Teacher? First, I consider studying the Fa
solidly. For a long time, I have deeply felt the true meaning of "solidness." It
is not easy to achieve solidness. It is inseparable with a cultivator's state
and complements one's own xinxing. At this stage, each one of us needs to have
a rational, solid basis while we study the Fa, send forth righteous thoughts,
and clarify the truth. In whatever activity we are doing, we need to have a
strong mindset, without drifting. I enlightened to the meaning of solidly
cultivating, with rationality, reason, and compassion. As Falun Dafa
practitioners, we calmly and solidly cultivate like diamonds, we are steadfast,
and look within. We may then enlighten to the same Fa principle. The attachment
of looking forward to Teacher's new Fa lectures is a display of looking
outwardly and is not a display of solidness. It is a drifting mind and we should
get rid of it.
Furthermore, whatever we encounter on the path of cultivation, we are not to be
led by our attachments. We need to study Zhuan Falun solidly, send forth
righteous thoughts solidly, and cultivate solidly.
The above is my own understanding. Please kindly point out anything improper.
(Clearwisdom.net) On August 5, 1994, I was fortunate to attend a Falun
Gong lecture at the Hockey Stadium of Harbin City and personally listen to
Master's lectures. Those are days I will never forget. I finally realized the
meaning of life and learnt the true purpose of living. I knew this was the
practice that I had been searching for. From that day, I began serious and
diligent cultivation.
The lectures were held for eight days. There were four or five thousand people
in attendance. Master usually taught from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The assistants
brought along by Master would then teach us one of the exercises, under Master's
guidance. Master was very patient and explained the exercise movements to us
step by step. Master was very punctual, both at the start and end of the
classes. He especially emphasized the importance of our xinxing levels.
In our first lesson, Master walked into the stadium at exactly 6:00 p.m. There
was a huge round of applause. When I first met Master, I felt he was very
amiable. I cried without knowing why. I enjoyed listening to Master's lecture
the more I listened to it. I felt like a person that was dying of thirst,
suddenly receiving fresh water. The joy and excitement was beyond description.
After a while, I felt an enormous pressure to sleep. I hated myself for not
making every effort to stay awake. I was afraid that if I slept, I would be
unable to clearly listen to Master's lectures. But later on, Master said that
(not original words) some people have illnesses in their brain and that they
will not be able to stand it if their brain is treated when they are awake. So I
allowed myself to sleep, but I could still hear Master's words. Master then
started treating our bodies. Master first treated half of the practitioners in
the stadium. Master asked everybody to stomp at the same time. At the beginning,
practitioners did not stomp together. Master laughed and said to stomp neatly
again. (Pa! There was only one sound.) After my side of the practitioners
stomped, I felt a chill. I felt cold air bursting out from my body. A while
later, I felt my whole body become itchy and hot. The lump that I had always
felt suppressing my lungs for years was released. The relief was so comfortable.
I felt like I had been released after a long suffocation. I was released from
many years of illness. Unknowingly, I cried again. My human side at the time
only knew that Master had purified my body for me. I was happy for that. But
after continuously studying the Fa and cultivating, I understood that Master
had eliminated a mountain-high amount of karma that I had accumulated in my
current life and past lives.
Humans cannot comprehend the difficulty of Master's Fa-rectification and how
much suffering Master has endured. It cannot be described in words.
On the last day of the lectures, Master walked around the stadium. He walked
slowly. Sometimes, Master raised one hand. Some practitioners would then say,
"Master gave us good things." Upon saying that, tears appeared in my colleague's
eyes. I looked at her. She asked, "Did you see the Falun?" I said no. She said,
"I saw Master waving his hands. A ray of light shot at me and I started crying.
Under the light, snowflake-like Falun fell onto everybody. The Faluns were
swirling. Some were big and some were small. The small ones were getting bigger
and the big ones were getting smaller." I was genuinely happy for her. I said,
"You saw the truth, isn't that worth shedding some tears?" I knew Master had
given us Falun because I could feel the movement in my lower abdomen. The
sensation of movement lasted for a few days.
The lectures ended. I felt unwilling to leave Master.
After writing this recollection, I appreciate even more Master's suffering, and
appreciate Master's benevolence all the more. I feel more encouraged to do the
three things and walk the final path of Fa-rectification well.

The European Commission, the executive body of the European Union, will
introduce a program next week aimed at encouraging democracy in countries
including China through cooperation with local groups, European Parliament Vice
President Edward McMillan-Scott said Wednesday.
Calling China's one-party leadership a "brutal, arbitrary and paranoid system,"
McMillan-Scott told a press conference in Hong Kong after visiting Beijing for
three days over the weekend that while maintaining strong business ties with
China, the EU would also keep pressing on human rights and religious freedom
issues.
"The EU is now coming around with the view that actually you cannot export
democracy, but you can encourage it, you can assist the process," he said.
"The European Commission is going to present a new democracy and human rights
instrument (at the European Parliament)."
McMillan-Scott said he met with diplomats and British Embassy officials during
his Beijing visit, as well as nongovernmental organizations and individuals
including Falun Gong followers constantly persecuted by the government, and
learned that rights and freedoms have never improved in China despite its
economic advancement.
The Falun Gong spiritual movement was banned in China in 1999 after adherents
surrounded the Chinese leadership's heavily guarded compound in Beijing.
[Editor's note: During the "April 25" appeal in 1999, practitioners actually
were in an orderly line waiting to speak on behalf of Falun Gong at the State
Council Appeals Office, which was adjacent to the Zhongnanhai government
complex.]
Regarding reports that China is systematically killing Falun Gong practitioners
to harvest their organs for nationwide transplant surgeries, McMillan-Scott said
that while he could not personally confirm the reports, he believes the
practitioners face persecution and abusive treatment.
McMillan-Scott said the program, running on a budget of 142 million euros ($160
million), will find new ways to help some societies in countries where democracy
does not exist, by working with local community groups.
"One of the elements of my visit to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan is to try to
establish whether there are ways that have not yet been tried of finding people
within China, in particular, who have the capacity to act.
"We have an opportunity in the next couple of years to keep pushing. My presence
here, I hope, will begin to give my thoughts and insights into what really goes
on and sensitively to work out ways in which people in China can begin to have
some hope that things will change," he said.
But McMillan-Scott noted that the EU is not in favor of recommending a sanction
or blacklist against China, saying it is better to empower the people.
McMillan-Scott is leaving Hong Kong on Thursday for Taiwan and will return here
on Saturday for a democracy forum.

TESTIMONIAL ORGAN SALES IN CHINA.
WHY I SCREAMED 'STOP THE MURDER' IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
WENYI WANG, the women who a few days back had a few seconds of world-wide fame
for reprimanding the Chinese President invited by President Bush, did not do it
to make herself famous.
Wenyi Wang aged forty-seven is from Changchun in northeast China (in the photo,
dressed in black). She became a medical doctor in China and moved to the United
States in 1985, where she was certified as a medical doctor and earned a PhD.
She has practiced Falun Gong since 1996, and is the spokesperson for the
Overseas Chinese Physicians for Human Rights.
My name is Wenyi Wang. I am forty-seven, I have a son and a
daughter and I am a doctor.
I was released from the Washington, DC District Court on Friday, April the 21st;
I will be back in court on May 3rd facing a potential penalty of $5000 and six
months in prison.
I think it is necessary for me to give to the public an explanation for my
protest during Hu Jintao's remarks Thursday morning on the South Lawn of the
White House during his visit with President Bush. (Wang Screamed 'Stop the
Murders' to the Asian President).
On March 9th The Epoch Times [newspaper edited by a group of Chinese Americans
in ten languages in over thirty countries] reported the large-scale organ
removal from living Falun Gong practitioners (a movement persecuted by the
Chinese government) in the Sujiatun District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province
in northeastern China. After this story broke, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
quickly transferred the Falun Gong practitioners still held in the Sujiatun
area, took other steps to cover up what had been done, and denied the incident.
At this time, The Epoch Times assigned me to follow this story because I am a
pathologist and have experience in organ transplantation research.
Initially our story was based on the accounts of two individuals from the
Shenyang area with information about what had happened inside the hospitals in
Sujiatun: "Peter," a Chinese national who had worked as a producer for a
Japanese TV station in the Shenyang City area; and "Annie," who was a staff
member at the Liaoning Provincial Thrombosis Hospital of Integrated Chinese and
Western Medicine and the former wife of a surgeon who had performed
organ-harvesting at Sujiatun for several years.
From the beginning of March, I have been accompanying these two sources to
interviews with major international media, the U.S. Congress, and governmental
agencies. At the same time, we obtained information regarding large-scale organ
harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners between 2001 and 2003 in major
labour camps that detained Falun Gong practitioners.
Some patients who had gone to China for organ transplant operations told us that
they were told prior to their going to China that the organ sources were Falun
Gong practitioners. Some doctors who know the overall picture of the live organ
harvesting scheme told us that the cruelty and inhumanity is unthinkable,
unspeakable and far beyond what has been reported in The Epoch Times. They told
us that when the scheme was completely exposed, people around the world would be
stunned. Everyone associated with this scheme who withdraws from it puts his or
her life at risk. Although these people have been in close contact with The
Epoch Times, they dare not step forward because they are afraid of being killed.
Patients require living healthy organs. In order to attract business, transplant
doctors in China have openly admitted in tape-recorded phone calls that the
organs are from living Falun Gong practitioners. In addition, almost all
hospitals make public statements that the waiting time for suitable organs range
from two weeks to a month. Sometimes it takes only a week to complete the
process of finding an organ, blood and tissue matching and transplantation. The
multi-language online advertisement of an organ transplantation centre in
Shenyang even promised that in three weeks patients can go to China, complete
organ transplantation and resume work happily.
After the Sujiatun news broke out, the Chinese web page of this organ
transplantation business was removed. As a doctor with a background in organ
transplantation, I clearly know that there must be large-scale live -organ banks
in many provinces in Mainland China. I feel great pain at the thought of this.
We have tens of thousands of missing Falun Gong practitioners. Their families
search for them, but have no clue at all as to their whereabouts.
Soon after the news of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners
came out, the CCP issued a new directive regarding organ transplantation.
Although the directive appears to outlaw the organ harvesting that has been
taking place, it does not go into effect until July 1st. Meanwhile, many
hospitals are urging patients to have organ transplantation done soon. They have
said that the organ sources will be not so abundant after May the 1st. Recording
documenting these claims have been published online.
A lot of investigation, including recorded interviews with transplant doctors in
China, indicates that major hospitals in China are performing operations at this
very time to remove organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Our
investigations also show the hospitals in China are hastening to perform these
operations as quickly as possible.
It is obvious that the Chinese Communist Party is covering things up, and at the
same time, rushing to complete organ transplantations as quickly as possible. We
know that every single day large numbers of Falun Gong practitioners are being
sacrificed to provide the necessary organs.
I haven't had time for my children. I left them in New York. On April 19th, the
day before the meeting between President Bush and Hu Jintao, I went to a
congressional hearing about human rights in China. However, the two witnesses
who risked their lives to expose the organ removal from living Falun Gong
practitioners were not allowed to explain what they knew. At the time, the two
witnesses had only requested they be allowed to testify in private before the
Congressmen. After they saw that the hearing did not have any testimony about
what they knew was true, they bravely decided to make their first public
statements at a press conference held on April 21st.
After this Congressional hearing, I realizsed I had to do whatever I could to
call attention to the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. On
April the 20th I went to the White House to report. However, when I saw
President Bush shake hands with Hu Jintao, I couldn't help but cry out. I cried
out for those Falun Gong practitioners, for those who have been or are going to
be dissected alive for their organs. I cried out for those who have been
tortured and suffered genocidal persecution.
I hope that Hu Jintao does not follow Jiang Zemin in the persecution and
genocide of Falun Gong. The live organ removal is the most severe crime against
humanity and the most severe and largest-scale genocide happening right now
right in front of our eyes.
Although my action was an individual action, I acted in a way consistent with
the spirit of freedom. I also acted to protect the dignity of my adopted home
country and of humankind. Afterwards, I was detained for a day. When I was
released, I saw many media waiting for me in front of the courthouse. They all
asked me, "Why?"
Since I have been released I have given interviews to the press. The press
reported on what I did at the White House, but did not really report very much
about the reason why I acted. However, the reason for my action is the key to
the whole issue.
I am convinced that the massive organ removal from living Falun Gong
practitioners touches and challenges the conscience of all of us, wherever we
live. It is a challenge for humankind; and they are crimes and sins that we must
be able to stop.

Dear Parents,
Greetings! I am on leave for several days to undertake a detailed physical
examination in the hospital. My colleague, Mr. Li, who will teach for me
temporarily while I am away, is a teacher with many years of teaching
experience. So please don't worry.
Four years ago, I experienced a critical moment in my life. At that time, I got
a cold when I was more than five months pregnant. A pregnant woman always
worries about the possibility of a bad impact on the embryo if taking medicine,
and therefore I just wanted to drink some more hot water. I thought that I would
just suffer the pain for several more days and would just recover more slowly. I
had not thought that the cold virus would unexpectedly get into my heart and
cause heart inflammation (usually it would first invade the lungs, and initiate
pneumonia). But it did, which created a rare disease - "pericardium membrane
inflammation."
The doctor told me that this was a rare disease, that there was no medicine that
would help, and that the heart function would slowly fail. According to former
cases, a patient with this illness would live for only one year unless he/she
underwent an operation, but the risk of surgery was high and the side effects
after the surgery would last for the remainder of one's life. One would then
have lifelong illnesses, and would have to follow many strict guidelines.
Such a sudden blow made me (who used to be healthy all the time and have very
little worry in my life) feel helpless immediately. My three young children
needed my attention very much. I was still young, had many unfinished dreams in
my life. I therefore went everywhere to see good doctors, but with no positive
effects. Instead, my physical condition became worse and worse, day after day. I
also had to take long-term sick leave from school!
Just when I became very pained and weak, both physically and mentally, a
colleague told me that I should try to practice Falun Gong. After I started
practicing Falun Gong three years ago, my physical health improved. My mind
became peaceful, healthy, and positive. My life was prolonged like a miracle.
Several months later, the cardiology doctor told me that I was the first patient
that he had heard of whose body functions were gradually restored without
undergoing surgery. He wanted to study my case in detail and make reports on it.
In the future, I would only need to return to the hospital for examinations
every six months to one year.
It is Falun Gong that is responsible for the favorable turning point and rebirth
of my life. Falun Gong let my young children live without losing their mother's
attendance, and has given me a family of happiness and integrity. More
importantly, Falun Dafa emphasizes that practitioners should regard and treat
everything with "Zhen-Shan-Ren" (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance). The
principles of being a good person in society and doing one's work well also
helps me understand, better than before, how to be a good teacher. It brings me
more wisdom that helps me handle classroom issues and the unpleasant things that
happen on occasion. All of these have made me learn to feel grateful and
treasure happiness and life even more.

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
1. Liu Yuanjun Recently Met with Retribution for Following the Order of "Killing Without Mercy."
Liu Yuanjun, the former Party Secretary of the Politics and Law Committee, was in charge of the police, procuratorate judicial system and the 610 Office in Changchun City, Jilin Province. He started to severely persecute Falun Gong after the persecution began July 20, 1999. On March 5, 2002, after Falun Gong truth-clarification programs were inserted into Changchun's cable television programming, Jiang Zemin frenziedly ordered "a thorough investigation of the incident," and, "killing without mercy." In order to obtain monetary rewards, Liu Yuanchun started to arrest Falun Gong practitioners on a large scale. In less than ten days, more than five thousand practitioners were arrested. Some of them were sentenced to harsh prison terms or sent to a forced labor camp. As a result, one of the main organizers of the efforts to intercept television programs, practitioner Mr. Liu Chengjun, was persecuted to death.
For seven years, Liu Yuanchun carried out the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners who believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."
In April 2006, Liu Yuanjun suddenly felt ill. On May 4, 2006, he died from liver cancer.
2. Zhao Jiuzhao from Taocheng District, Hengshui City, Hebei Province Died Suddenly
Zhao Jiuzhao, male, about 40, was from
Taocheng District, Hengshui City, Hebei Province. He actively followed Jiang Zemin's faction and brutally persecuted Dafa practitioners. In January 2001, he drove his own car to arrest Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Jinjun and took him to the police station.
In January 2006, Zhao was having dinner in the Beizhao Restaurant. When he went to the restroom, he died there unexpectedly.
3. Jiang Xinchien, the Deputy Director of Xinyi City Public Security Bureau from Jiangsu Province, Died Suddenly
According to Modern News Express, the deputy director of Xinyi City Public Security Bureau, died suddenly in May 5, 2006.
Jiang Xinchien, 47, was born in September 1958. When he was the deputy director, he was in charge of the National Security Team, Yaowan, and Caoqiao Police Station. On the morning of May 1, he held a conference for all secretaries in charge of political issues, emphasizing the importance of "maintaining stability" during the holidays. On the morning of May 5, he was discovered lying on the floor with his eyes wide open and with a cell phone in his hand. He was taken to the hospital and died several hours later.
His family said that he was in good health before he died.
Those who are more familiar with the Public Security Department would know that the Security Protection Division of the Public Security Bureau was directly in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. Moreover, the 610 Office, which was set up to persecute Falun Gong and had acquired a bad reputation, changed its name to the "Provincial Leadership Team for Maintaining Stability". Xinyi City is under the jurisdiction of the Xuzhou City in Jiangsu Province. The persecution in Xuzhou City is very serious. The report also said that from January to May of 2006, there were already five police officers who died while working, and three of them were from Xuzhou City.
(Clearwisdom.net) "Admiration of Harmony" means admiring harmony,
unity and friendship in social relationships. In traditional Chinese culture,
the meaning of "harmony" is very rich. Harmony is essential in relationships
between individuals and the relationships between nations. It's also imperative
in humanity's relationship with nature. The original meaning of harmony is peace
and coordination. It is said in Zhou Yi [a book of prehistoric Chinese diagrams
that disclose the changes in the course of nature], "If two people are of the
same mind, their strength can break iron." It is also said, "Harmonious sounds
resonate within each other and harmonious energies attract each other." It is
also written in the Analects of Confucius, "The ultimate goal of etiquette is
the achievement of harmony." Obviously, the ancient Chinese paid considerable
attention to the effects of and the need for harmony.
To many people, harmony means open-mindedness and a balance of firmness and
gentleness. For a community, it means that people get along with each other
peacefully and amicably. The ancient Chinese people, however, didn't sacrifice
their principles in their pursuit of harmony. "Gentlemen are harmonious but
aren't the same as each other. Lesser men are all the same, yet they are not
harmonious." (Confucius, Analects of Confucius) "Admiration of Harmony" has
always been an esteemed moral tradition of the Chinese nation.
In Shang Shu (also known as The Book of History), the author wrote, "Yao can use
his wisdom and morality to harmonize his relations. When his blood relationships
are harmonious, again he clearly distinguishes the good officials from the bad
officials within the tribal alliance. When the quality of the officials is
known, he diligently unites the realms of various feudal lords." (Yao's Book,
Shang Shu)
In Yao's book of Shang Shu, the author described the peaceful world under Yao
and Shun's governance. At that time the superior and the inferior were
harmonious. All the people enjoyed a good and prosperous life. It was best
described by the phrase, "work after sunrise, and rest after sunset." This was
Confucianism's ideal society. The formation of this society depended on harmony.
The families were harmonious, the different levels of officials were harmonious,
the thousands of feudal lords' states were harmonious and the world was at
peace. In order to make people harmonious, it was necessary to require them to
conform to common social criterion and morality out of their own volition. The
ancients said, "Use wisdom and morality to harmonize the people," they
emphasized the use of wisdom and morality to allow the people to obey.
In Xi Ci, the author Zhou Yi wrote, "If two people act as one, their strength
can break iron, and their words are as sweet as orchids." Cui Hong also said in
his West Qin State of 30 Countries in the Spring and Autumn Period, "A single
one is easy to break, but if all unite together, they are really hard to break."
The sons of the king of the Huns were never harmonious. The king called them
together, and gave each son an arrow. He told the princes to break the arrows,
which they did quite easily. Then the king gave each son a bunch of arrows in
turn, and told them to break it. Nobody could do it. Then the Hun king told
them, "If you brothers aren't harmonious, you're just like the individual
arrows, and you'll be very easily defeated by your enemies, but if you are
united, then you're like the bunch of arrows, and no one can defeat you. This is
the strength of harmony."
Confucius said, "The ultimate goal of etiquette is the achievement of harmony."
(Xue Er, Analects of Confucius) If that's the case, then social norms are
necessary to establish harmony among people and between humanity and nature, but
Confucius also thought that "harmony" didn't mean "without principle." He said,
"Gentlemen are harmonious but aren't the same as each other. Lesser men are all
the same, yet they are not harmonious," emphasizing the difference between a
gentleman's and a base person's principles when they interact with others. The
gentleman has his own opinion and can still treat people generously. Others
easily influence the lesser man. He repeats their ideas and flatters them, but
when there's a conflict of interest he can't get along with them.
Confucius also said, "The gentlemen are harmonious but they do not echo others."
(The Doctrine of the Mean) The ancient people called a man with high moral
standards a gentleman. People had great respect for gentlemen, but they also
expected more from them. A gentleman is very kind and gentle, but his heart is
characterized by its fortitude. They are harmonious, yet they have their own
beliefs and don't drift with the tide.
When speaking of harmony, people may remember the words of Mencius, who said,
"Cosmic timing isn't as good as favorable earth conditions, and favorable earth
conditions aren't as good as human harmony." (The second part of Gongsun Chou,
by Mencius) Those are the words of Mencius when he spoke about the war.
According to him, "Human harmony" meant that people are of like mind and united.
Mencius also spoke of the political principle, "being happy with the people." He
said, "If the king is happy about what his people are happy about, his people
will be happy about what the king is happy about. If the king worries about what
his people worry about, his people will worry about what he worries about." (The
second part of The King of Liang, by Mencius) The wise king always shares in the
joys and sorrows of his people. His heart and his thoughts are ever on his
people. Only in this way is he able to win the support of the people.
The ancients wrote many words about how to achieve harmony in social
relationships. "Friendship between gentlemen is as light as water, while
friendship between the lowly is as sweet as honey." (Shanmu, Zhuangzi) Although
a gentleman's friendships were light, they were lasting, whereas a lesser man's
friendship was easily broken, despite its sweetness. From the ancients' point of
view, the friendship of gentlemen didn't depend on the fulfillment of personal
interests; it was as clear and transparent as water.
Confucius said, "The gentleman supports and praises others' achievements and
good things. He does not laugh at others' misfortunes." (Yan Yuan, Analects of
Confucius) We should treat people generously and help others do well. Guan Zhong
and Bao Shuya, who lived in the Spring and Autumn Period, were good friends.
They did business together. Guan Zhong always benefited more than Bao Shuya in
their dealings. Bao Shuya never took it seriously because he knew Guan Zhong's
family was poor. Guan Zhong even became a military deserter during the war, but
Bao Shuya never belittled him, because he knew that Guan Zhong needed to support
his elderly mother. Guan Zhong was greatly touched. He always said, "My parents
gave me life, but Bao Shuya knows me." Bao Shuya's generosity made Guan and
Bao's friendship an eternally edifying anecdote.
