It was learned that Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiaoqing, a former employee of the Hubei Province Agricultural Science Institute in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and another practitioner Liu were illegally sentenced to seven years and eight years in prison, respectively.
2. [Leqing City, Zhejiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Chen Wenying Tortured to the Brink of Death
Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Wenying was arrested by Leqing 610 Office agents in Zhejiang Province on May 22. She was subsequently sent to the Leqing Detention Center in Zhejiang Province where she held a hunger strike. The abusers brutally tortured her until her body became deformed. The Leqing 610 Office agents in Zhejiang Province not only refused to release her, but instead they sent Chen Wenying to Moganshan Women’s Labor Camp in Zhejiang Province to further mistreat and persecute her. Chen Wenying has been holding a hunger strike at the labor camp. She cannot speak now and is on the brink of death.

3. [Heilongjiang Province] Guards Savagely Beat Dafa Practitioner Mr. Jiang Fushun, Employee of the Yingchun Forest Bureau
Dafa practitioner Mr. Jiang Fushun, an employee of the Yingchun Forest Bureau in Heilongjiang Province, was arrested at home in January 2006. Arresting agents were security officers from the Forest Bureau. They took Mr. Jiang to a detention center where he was tortured with the "Big Hang-up" (1) for a whole night. He hadn’t eaten for five days. The guards savagely beat him. Mr. Jiang is extremely weak.

4. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Liu Wei Illegally Detained and His Family in Crisis - Belated Information
Mr. Liu Wei, who is in his 30s, is a teacher at a vocational school in Suizhong County. He was reported when clarifying the truth to his colleagues and students. Agents arrested him on the morning of November 16, 2004 and sent him to the Huludao City Forced Labor Camp. He was transferred to Jinzhou Labor Camp in August 2005.
After being sent to the labor camp, the school stopped paying his salary. As a result, his wife and child are experiencing financial difficulties for their livelihood.

8. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaodong Facing Secret and Illegal Trial at the Huadian City Court
The Huadian City Court in Jilin Province is planning to illegally try Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaodong on July 4, 2006. Wang Xiaodong was arrested nearly four months ago, on March 11, 2006. During this period he was barbarically tortured with the tiger bench and force-fed with kerosene, among other brutal methods. The Procuratorate rejected the case three times. They returned it to the police department due to lack of evidence, and yet the Huadian City Police Department and police officers including Yu Jinji are fabricating charges against Wang Xiaodong in order to persecute him.
Wang Xiaodong’s mother went to related government agencies to appeal and to rescue her son. She was refused, threatened and intimidated. Wang Xiaodong’s older brother, Dafa practitioner Wang Xiaohu, is being held at the Jilin Prison. He is denied family visits.

9. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhu Yanghe Detained
Three lawless officials including Dumeng County 610 Office agent Li Shilin as well as Tong Min, a police officer from Hujitumo Town, broke into the home of Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhu Yanghe in Aobao Village at around 9:00 a.m. on June 30, 2006. They ransacked the home and beat Zhu Yanghe. They videotaped the process and took Zhu Yanghe to a custody center.

10. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhou Yuren Persecuted at Huazi Prison in Liaoyang
Dafa practitioner Zhou Yuren from Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province was arrested in 2003 for clarifying the truth. He was sentenced to six years in prison and was held at Division 3 of the Huazi Prison in Liaoyang. Zhou Yuren didn’t cooperate with the evildoers and opposed the persecution. He has been on hunger strike for more than ten days and is extremely weak.

11. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Four Dafa Practitioners Including Wang Ping Sent to Forced Labor Camps
Four Dafa practitioners, Mr. Wang Ping, Ms. Leng Xueping, Ms. Liu Qingyan and Ms. Dong Guizhen in Laizhou City, Shandong Province were sent to labor camps. Wang Ping, Leng Xueping and Liu Qingyan were arrested on May 8, 2006. Wang Ping was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor by agents from the Laizhou City 610 Office on June 14. Leng Xueping and Liu Qingyan were each sentenced to one year of forced labor by agents from the Laizhou City 610 Office. The three Dafa practitioners are now being held at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo.
Dong Guizhen was arrested in the evening of May 16, 2006 for posting truth clarification materials. She was also sentenced to one year of forced labor by agents from the Laizhou City 610 Office on June 14. She is now being held at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo.
12. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang Shuquan Arrested
Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Shuquan who works at the 14th Institute of the China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) in Nanjing City was arrested in May 2006. This is another round of persecution by the police after the arrest of Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Aidong, who also works at the 14th Institute of CETC.
Zhang Shuquan was arrested back in 2000 and sent to a brainwashing class and was subsequently twice sent to the Fangqiang Forced Labor Camp in Dafeng, Jiangsu Province. Her labor camp term had expired in 2004.
13. [Wendeng City, Shandong Province] Three Dafa Practitioners Including Mr. Xu Yingguang Arrested
Three Dafa practitioners were arrested in Wendeng City on June 23. They are: Mr. Xu Yingguang, a male practitioner surnamed Yang and anther male practitioner from another city. The police ransacked the homes of Xu Yingguang and Yang. They took four computers, at least two printers, at least one all-in-one printer, truth clarification materials and countless Dafa books. The police also beat the practitioner from out-of-town ruthlessly. Right now, the three practitioners are being held at the Wendeng City Detention Center and the Wendeng City Custody Center. They are holding a hunger strike. It is an urgent situation.

The arrest happened while they were distributing truth-clarifying materials on June 13, 2006. The practitioners were held at Fujin City Detention Center. After being sentenced to two years of forced labor, they were sent to the Jiamusi City Forced Labor Camp. The labor camp refused to take Ma Shuhua due to her "illness" and sent her back to the Fujin City Detention Center.

Personnel from the 610 Office in the Suixi District colluded with the local villagers' committee and the Huanglue Police Station and ransacked their homes at around 3:00 a.m. on June 24. A Practitioner from Huangshan Mountain was arrested in Longgang District of Wenzhou City at around 2:00 p.m. on June 25, 2006. He is being held at Yi County Detention Center.
25. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Li - Belated Information
Practitioner Ms. Li Shanglian from Gaocai Village was taken to the Nanning City Police Department when clarifying the truth in Nanning City on July 21, 1999. She was photographed, interrogated, and then transferred to Beihai City Police Department after 24 hours of detention. Later, she was transferred again, this time to the Gaode Police Station. She was arrested at a brainwashing class held in a Drug Rehab Center in 2001. Ms. Li was forced to write the three statements and slander Dafa. In 2002, personnel from the CCP regime and local armed police ransacked her home. She was held at a police station for one day and then transferred and held at the Pingyang County Detention Center for fifteen days.

When practitioner Mr. Zhao Xiliang passed by the Loucun Township Police Station in Laishui County, police confiscated his tricycle and detained him at the county detention center. He was subsequently transferred to another detention center and held there for 18 months. On May 20, 2002 he was sentenced to three years of forced labor in Baoding City Forced Labor Camp. Police persecuted him by brainwashing.

Practitioners Ms. Shi Shenglan, Xiang Liuliu and Ms. Mi are from Huangxikou Town, Chenxi County, Hunan Province. When they went to Simeng Town, Xupu County to distribute truth-clarifying materials, they were reported and arrested. Xupu County 610 Office and Chenxi County 610 Office agents put the three practitioners into Chenxi County Detention Center. Each of them was extorted of money, from 1,000 yuan to 3,000 yuan, by agents from the Houtang Township regime. Police also claimed that they would arrest Shi Lansheng’s husband.
