The following is a sampling of the cases of human rights violations against Falun Gong at the hands of Communist Party authorities in China reported on the Clearwisdom.net website over the past week.
Mr. Zhang Xingcai, 58 years old, a resident of Yanji City, Jilin Province, has been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party for practicing Falun Gong. On September 13, 2007, Yanji City police broke into Zhang Xingcai's home and arrested him again. On September 30, Ythe police illegally sentenced Mr. Zhang and three other practitioners to forced labor camps.
Mr. Gao Liangui, 69 years old, is a retired director of a hospital in Beijing. He was arrested by officers from the Beijing Fengtai District 610 Office, the security department of the Chinese Academy of Space Technology, and the neighborhood administrative office on March 27, 2006. His home was ransacked. He was sent to Wuyuan Forced Labor Camp, where he was tortured and became severely emaciated.
On September 30, 2007, Anshan City Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Jia Yulan and Ms. Jia Yukun were taken to detention center by local CCP authorities and Nanhua Police Station. They were later sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor.
The "Education" Section of Heizuizi Women's Prison in Changchun City, Jilin Province has been torturing Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioners were beaten by inmates, tied up on a bed for long periods of time, intimidated, seduced, threatened, confined and deprived of using toilet.

In Jilin Prison Guards Continued the Persecution of Falun Gong practitioners

Dozens of reports are received every day from the victims of torture, the wrongfully imprisoned, and families crippled by the senseless hardship and grief for their loved ones imposed by the persecution. In contrast, the websites also report positive news and events from the more than 80 countries around the world where Falun Gong is practiced, and serve as an online forum for practitioners to share stories of the good things Falun Gong has brought to their lives.
