(Clearwisdom.net) The annual retreat for practitioners throughout Germany took place from the 27th to the 30th of December 2006. It was a time for family activities, and more than 150 practitioners participated in this annual gathering, at which they studied Fa, practiced the exercises and shared experiences together.
This year, many practitioners brought their children. They wanted their children to have the opportunity to participate in the "Minghui School". Nearly twenty children participated in the school activities. The children already had some understanding about cultivation, and they discussed the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance and how they tried to follow these principles in day-to-day life. They all knew the exercises and some of them were doing the exercises almost perfectly. The children also knew many facts of the persecution. At the Minghui School, they learned to sing a song that told the story of Fadu, a little girl from China whose father was persecuted to death because he practiced Falun Gong. The children sang this song on the last evening of the group meeting. The practitioners were deeply moved by the children’s innocent voices and the touching song.

The adults had ample time to study the Falun Dafa teachings and practice the exercises. There was also a conference one afternoon at which the practitioners shared their experiences in cultivating their xinxing according to the Falun Dafa principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance.
Most of the time, practitioners met in different working groups. During those group activities, they had the opportunity to exchange thoughts on how to more effectively raise public awareness about the ongoing brutal persecution in China and the more recently revealed organ harvesting atrocities.
