(Clearwisdom.net) On July 1, Falun Gong practitioners rallied outside the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo to protest Hong Kong's deportations of some 500 Falun Gong practitioners, and to voice their support for a lawsuit filed in Hong Kong against Jiang Zemin and other perpetrators of the persecution.

On the eve of the 10th anniversary of the handover of Hong Kong to China, Hong Kong authorities denied entry to hundreds of Taiwanese Falun Gong practitioners based on a blacklist provided by the Chinese Communist regime. By July 1, the total number of Taiwanese practitioners who were denied visas or boarding on planes flying to Hong Kong, or turned away after landing in Hong Kong mounted to near 1000. Those subjected to entry denial and violent deportation included practitioners from Taiwan, Australia, the Philippines and Macao.
A representative of the Falun Dafa Association Japan said that such massive deportations are rare in history. "This blatant human rights violation can only lead people to question whether the so-called "One country two systems" is just a political slogan. Practitioners around the world tried to enter Hong Kong to peacefully protest the persecution of Falun Gong. Today, we are here [Chinese Embassy in Tokyo] to protest the violent deportations from Hong Kong and to voice our support for the Hong Kong lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. Bringing a lawsuit against Jiang [the former head of the CCP] in Hong Kong, which is under Communist Party control, is a milestone in history."
