Ms. Wang Lanxiang and Mr. Chen Genghui Passed Away Due to Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Wang Lanxiang, was over 50 years old and lived in Liangxiang Town, Fangshan district, Beijing City. After she began to practice Falun Gong, she became quite healthy, and the local people knew her as a kind person.

On one day in 2005, several police officers suddenly broke into Ms. Wang's home and took her into custody. She was illegally detained and sentenced to labor camp since she refused to give up Falun Gong. Due to long term detention and persecution, she developed many kinds of diseases and her life was in danger. In 2006, she was released for medical treatment. She passed away several months later.

Mr. Chen Genghui, was over 70 years old, and was a retired physician of the China Railway 1st Bureau in Hua County, Shaanxi Province. Before he practiced Falun Gong, he suffered from multiple diseases and was miserable beyond description. After he started practicing Falun Dafa, his symptoms quickly disappeared and he could walk nimbly, so he told whoever he met, "Falun Dafa is good."

Since the persecution began in July 1999, police seized and harassed him many times, but he steadfastly held to his beliefs and refused to give in. In 2003, he was illegally sentenced to labor camp. On December 24, 2003, he passed away in pain.
