On April 23, 2008, the opening show of Divine Performing Arts at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle attracted local politicians and celebrities alike. There were also many local Chinese among the nearly 2,000 people in the audience that night.

Jane immigrated to the United States from mainland China five months ago. She and her husband saw a promotion for the Chinese Spectacular in a Chinese restaurant, and they came to see the show with their 5-year-old son and another couple. She said, "The dancing, costumes and the whole lighting design are very good. The performance was splendid."

When asked about the two dances about Falun Gong practitioners, Jane said, "Completely different from what we hear in China."

She said that she heard about "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance", but was not clear specifically what this belief was about. She says that what she sees outside of China, "compared to what we normally hear in China, it's so different. It leads me to take a brand new angle to look at this matter."

Jane said that she worked for customs in China before she came to the United States, and her husband's name is Brian. He said that the backdrops in the show such as the rain scenery, the musical performance and the dancing were all good. His favorite part was "Drummers of the Tang Court."

Jane concluded, "I thought 'Chopstick Zest' and the drumming program were both splendid, and the rhythm was so strong. The show displays traditional Chinese culture with a modern element, so I feel it is quite good."
