(Clearwisdom.net) On October 9, 2009, Wufu High School was highly praised by the Kaohsing Education Bureau for its promotion of Falun Gong principles Truth-Compassion-Forbearance among students. The school was selected as an excellent example for moral education and for other schools to emulate.

The Taiwan Education Ministry has stressed moral education in recent years and promoted "Friendly Campus" student assistance to help students improve their morality.
Falun Gong practitioner Chang Su-hsing, Director of Teaching in Wufu High School, is the core instructor in promoting moral education in the school. She shared her experience, "Six years ago, I felt my life was near an end from the heavy workload and poor health. A colleague introduced Falun Gong to me. I read Zhuan Falun and was moved. My health greatly improved after practicing Falun Gong. I knew the true meaning of life and the importance of morality to people."
Thus, she promoted moral education actively when she became Director of Teaching. She applied her learning and understanding of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance to education. The effect was outstanding. The students in this school are different. They have tidy clothing and are polite to teachers and other students. Ms. Chang said, "When the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance are accepted by the students, they will become responsible, diligent in their studies, and happy."
