San Francisco: Falun Gong Practitioners Take Part the 141st Columbus Day Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 11, Falun Gong practitioners from California took part in the 141st Columbus Day parade in San Francisco for the seventh time.

The Divine Land Marching Band

The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of Falun Gong practitioners, performed in the parade. Practitioners also demonstrated the exercises. The organizer, Don Casper, said that Falun Gong practitioners' performances are always excellent every year; their costumes are beautiful and their music is peaceful and energetic. He said the organizers always welcome Falun Gong. He believes that the spectators expect practitioners to be there every year, too.

The crowds gave the Falun Gong contingent a warm welcome. They took photos and applauded them. The guiding principles of Falun Gong, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, resonated with the crowd. Many condemned the brutal persecution in China.
