Ms. Zhu is in Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province. Her father, Mr. Zhu Jingyun, was forced to leave his hometown and live elsewhere in order to avoid further persecution.

Ms. Zhu, 28, lives in Chaluhe Town, Yongji County, Jilin Province. She started to practice Falun Gong in 2005. She has benefited from the practice both physically and mentally.

The police broke the windows of her home and her family's shop and entered through the windows.

They ransacked her residence and her family's shop. From the shop, the police confiscated two computers, a color printer, many music CDs, and Ms. Zhu's cell phone. From her home, the police confiscated at least 21,500 yuan in cash, four bank cards, a DVD player, new digital cameras, a satellite antenna receiver, a mini-stereo, four mobile phones, a case of printing paper, receipts, loan documents, the household registry book, her father's name stamp, her father's and her identity cards, five copies of Zhuan Falun, and more.

Ms. Zhu's young brother, Mr. Zhu Boyuan, who is handicapped and bedridden, asked the police, "Do you have a search-warrant and the legal documents? If you don't, it is illegal for you to search our home." One of the police hit Mr. Zhu twice with a pillow.

When the police confiscated Ms. Zhu's family belongings, her mother said to the police, "You cannot take our family belongings. The 21,500 yuan is our rent money for our shop." A police officer ordered her not to talk and hit her. They used abusive language while confiscating things from Ms. Zhu's home.
