India: Introducing Falun Gong at the Global Congress of Spiritual Scientists (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) At the Global Congress of Spiritual Scientists (GCSS) recently held in Bangalore (Oct 2 to Oct 5, 2009), Falun Dafa practitioners in India participated by having an information stall. The congress provides a unique Platform to bring together several New Age Spiritual Masters and Scientists of the world to share their spiritual perspectives, research works and experiences.

Practitioners introduce Falun Gong to the GCSS participants

Many people at the event had heard about Falun Dafa and its immense health benefits, but they did not know to what extent the Chinese government had persecuted its very own people. They were shocked by the scale of the persecution and the gross injustice to innocent people who upheld their belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

Several people wanted to know how they could help the world learn about the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China. Many spiritual masters volunteered to sign the petition calling for stop to the 10-year-long persecution which started on July 20, 1999.
