(Clearwisdom.net) Realizing that many fellow practitioners haven't come out to do what they should do for a long time, I always kept telling myself, "Cultivation is to cultivate yourself, not to look outwards. Master's Fa is all there. How can I change them if Master's teachings can't do it? However, what I can do, is to try my best to do more and more to make up the parts they didn't do." I had often thought that this understanding of mine was being altruistic. However, after reading Master's teaching, "Fa Teaching Given at the NTDTV Meeting," I have for the first time realized that my thinking is far away from being really altruistic, and that at the very least I haven't fully considered this issue from the higher perspective of the whole Fa-rectification situation.

After reading this part of Master's teaching, I felt ashamed. I had always thought that I was trying my best to do more before, but never thought about the future of fellow practitioners who haven't come out to do the three things. It is exactly because we haven't done well enough in awakening our fellow practitioners around us that Master has had to worry about them again and again!

In addition, I remembered Master said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference,"

"With human beings... when a being can obtain the Fa today in history, it's no ordinary thing--he's so fortunate! But as soon as he loses the Fa, do you know what he faces? It's really horrific, because when he fails to fulfill the major responsibilities and the huge missions that were bestowed upon him, then, accordingly, that's like the inverse of a being's Consummation, and he will truly have to enter the gate of no-life. You folks can't just go and abandon a person without trying hard enough. No matter what kind of mistakes someone has made, or what kind of a person he is, I still want to give him a chance."

Recently I got in touch with a dozen fellow practitioners who haven't come out to validate the Fa. I remembered in, "Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York" Master said,

"Once somebody starts cultivating, though, that person will be in danger amidst the evil's persecution if he can't keep up, so you have to take responsibility for him."

Since they are beings who have obtained the Fa, we should pay more attention to them. If we find that they are gradually getting lost, we cannot turn a blind eye. We should spend more time and patience to help awaken them. This is our urgent priority, and is also a very important part of helping Master rectify the Fa in the current situation.

Think about why the persecution has lasted for such a long time. In "Fa Teaching Given at the NTDTV Meeting," Master said, "At present, that [outcome] has been delayed because many Dafa disciples have yet to finish their paths of cultivation." The Fa-rectification cultivation will not be endless, and Master will not forever wait like this. The harsh persecution is still going on. Master is actually paying a huge cost to wait for us rather than giving the salvation opportunities to ordinary people! Everything in human society is changed with our cultivation condition. Why is human morality declining at a tremendous pace, why are sentient beings so hard to save? As Falun Dafa practitioners who have the responsibility to, "Puts a stop to its downward slide" ("Illuminating All," Hong Yin II), we may have to take responsibility for the losses incurred in the future "a great Final Judgment." Master said in "Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference,"

"As Dafa disciples, if right now you cannot accomplish that and lead beings to salvation, then you will have failed to fulfill the vows you once made, and will have brought calamity to the entire Fa-rectification, the universe, and sentient beings."

Clearwisdom published an article titled "Pay Attention to the Results of Truth-Clarification; Speed up the Pace of Saving Sentient Beings" from a practitioner in North America (http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2009/8/8/109870.html). I think that the points made in this article are really exact, and make a fairly comprehensive summary. Looking at it from two important angles that, "Helping Inactive Practitioners Become More Diligent" and "Pay Attention to the Effect of Saving Sentient Beings," this article serves as a wake-up call for each practitioner. I hope that all our practitioners can review it again and use it to examine ourselves. Heshi.
