(Clearwisdom.net) On September 12 and 14, Falun Gong practitioners from Sydney held a series of activities in Chinatown, Belmore Park, and Martin Place to introduce Falun Gong and expose the brutal persecution to the public.

On September 12, practitioners held banners in Chinatown, which read "China is not equal to the CCP", and "Supporting 60 Million Chinese Withdrawals from the CCP", convincing people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Practitioners called upon people to recognize the evil nature of the CCP and see the disasters it has brought to China. Ms. Tian, who came to Australia from China a year ago, expressed her respect for Falun Gong practitioners. She said: "My mother was tortured by the CCP. My family suffered a lot during the Cultural Revolution. The CCP has been harmful to China, but Falun Gong practitioners' efforts are beneficial to society. I hope more people will join you."

Ms. Hou, a volunteer from the Service Center for Quitting the Party, said that she helped 41 Chinese people quit the party and its affiliated organizations today. "When people learn the truth about the CCP, they are willing to quit," she said.

In Belmore Park, practitioners set up truth-clarifying display boards, which were more than 200 feet long, to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong. A Chinese student said she had no idea how brutal the persecution has been, and she was shocked when she saw the photos. She quit the party right away.

On September 14, practitioners held activities at Martin Place, demonstrating the exercises and introducing Falun Gong to the public. The Divine Land Marching Band performed severals songs. More than 500 people signed petitions in support of Falun Gong.

Many people read the materials and viewed the photos which showed the persecution of Falun Gong. They strongly condemned the persecution, and expressed that people should have freedom of belief. They encouraged practitioners to keep it up and tell the truth to more people. Some of them took copies of the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and said that the CCP should be ashamed of itself for what it has done. They expressed that the persecution is horrible and should be stopped as soon as possible.

Ms. Zhao is being interviewed by local media.

Ms. Zhao, the chair of the Falun Dafa Association in Australia, said: "Falun Gong has been persecuted for 10 years. Many people know nothing about Falun Gong. Some people have heard about Falun Gong, but they don't know why the CCP persecutes it. With these activities, we hope that more people, including the Australian government, media and mainstream society, will know what Falun Gong is and the truth about the persecution. We are pleased that several media came to our activities."
