(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of January 16, Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company presented its second show to nearly 3000 audience members at the Place des Arts - Theatre Maisonneuve. Many Chinese people came to the show seeking the lost Chinese traditional culture.

Chinese international student Ms. Liu came to see the show at the recommendation of a friend. She said that the show showcased Chinese culture of five thousand years and the backdrop showed many landscapes dear to her heart. She was particularly fond of the dancing: "The dancers are well trained and they coordinated well with each other and with the orchestra. I love that special bearing."

Ms. Zhou came from southern China. "I was so surprised to learn from the emcees that the dancers mostly grew up in North America. Their dancing skills were perfect. Moreover, they accurately expressed the inner meaning of those legendary stories. The orchestra was great and I admired the conductor."

Zhou brought her two daughters to experience Chinese culture. "I think they both love the show."

For the same reason, Ms. Zheng brought her daughter to the show. Zheng said: "The show was great! This is our first experience and the music was so beautiful."

Ms. Zheng and her daughter enjoyed Shen Yun

Zhen said that she immediately bought tickets when she saw the Shen Yun advertisement as she wanted to have her daughter experience Chinese culture.

"Classical Chinese dance is very expressive. If my daughter wants, I will definitely let her learn it," said Zhou, "The dancers are excellent and I was deeply touched by the dance which portrayed experience of a Falun Gong family."

Chinese immigrant Ms. Liang deeply loves Chinese traditions and enjoyed the show very much. From classical Chinese dance, folk dance, to the orchestra which included some Chinese instruments, she liked every aspect of the show. Her husband, Mr. Ou, is a computer engineer. He was happy to see the show, and said: "I like Wu Song Battles the Tiger; the dancers were excellent and the use of color was outstanding."

Mr. Wang, his mom, two sons, and his Caucasian wife watched the show. Ms. Wang said that the 3-D backdrop matched with the dancing perfectly. "The pictures on the backdrop were very beautiful, augmented by the live music, you feel that you really went back in time."

Mr. Wang, his mother, two sons, and his wife

Mr. Wang initially thought that the acrobats would be more interesting than classical Chinese dance. After the show, however, he completely changed his mind. "I think my sons now like classical Chinese dance more. The show is absolutely beautiful with professional choreography and many great talents."

Wang was also impressed by the two emcees who both spoke fluent Chinese, English and French.

He added: "If you just relax and sit down, you will find you have instantaneously returned to ancient China. The show is a great production!"
