(Clearwisdom.net) On January 23, the Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company presented two shows on its fifth day at the Kennedy Opera House. The theater was fully packed for both shows, and each number received enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Mr. George Rose, who owns an international TV station, said that he watches about 30 shows at the Kennedy Center every year, calling the center his second home. After seeing Shen Yun with his girlfriend, Rose acclaimed the show as world class and said that it brought the center "unprecedented spirituality."

Homeland Security Consultant Reserved Shen Yun August Show Tickets

After watching the show with five members of his family, John Anderson immediately reserved 10 tickets for the upcoming Shen Yun show in August at the Kennedy Center. Mr. Anderson is a senior consultant from Deloitte Consulting and works for the US Homeland Security Department.

Anderson regretted that he didn't order enough tickets, and consequently some of his relatives could not attend. When he learned that the show was to return to the Kennedy Center in August, he immediately reserved 10 tickets for the best seats. He said that the show was unbelievably good and he was deeply impressed by "Handkerchiefs" in which dancers threw rotating handkerchiefs high in the air and then caught them after making a difficult flip.

"My wife is Vietnamese and her parents are Chinese. Every time we saw Shen Yun, she talked about the stories and history behind those dancing acts. She said that those stories were very important to her," said Anderson. He and his family have seen the Shen Yun shows three times.

After seeing the Saturday afternoon show, Ed Castro said that Shen Yun gave him an unforgettable lesson and the show should be watched repeatedly. Mr. Castro is a vice president for Honest Tea, the largest organic team company in the US.

Castro said that he was astonished by Shen Yun as soon as the curtain opened: "It was visually spectacular. The female dancers were so graceful and beautiful, the male dancers were very strong and elegant. In addition, the dancers were so synchronized and nobody was out of step. It was great."

Renowned Fashion Designer: Inspired

Renowned fashion designer Tu-Anh was amazed by Shen Yun's costumes. She said, "I think the best artists and designers will all appreciate this show. Their costumes gave me inspiration."

Tu-Anh was particular touched by Xiaochun Qi's Erhu solo. "She was performing with her heart. I had an indescribable emotion. I felt I was Chinese in a previous life."
