(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in seven provinces. In this report, nine practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Hebei Province] Mr. Li Runhui in Critical Condition as a Result of Persecution in Jidong Prison
Mr. Li Runhui, 66, is a retired employee from the No. 2 Oil Extraction Factory at the Huabei Oil Field. He is in critical condition at the Jidong Prison's Fourth Division Central Hospital in Tangshan City. He is emaciated and has had occasional mild heart attacks. His request for a medical parole was refused. 610 Office agents at his former place of employment threatened that should he refuse to "reform", they would send him to a mental hospital for further persecution.

2. [Shuangyashan, Heilongjiang Province] Local Police Harass Ms. Lu Guijie at Home
Baoshan Farm No. 2 Regiment deputy head Cui Zhenbin, Party Secretary Wang Haibin and Sun Zhiyu broke into Ms. Lu Guijie's home to harass her on the afternoon of September 26, 2010. They then called local police station officials, who sent five officers including Zhao Jianzhong to Ms. Lu's home. These individuals arrived that same afternoon and confiscated a notebook computer, an MP3 player, Falun Gong books, dozens of truth-clarification CDs, and 61 yuan in paper money on which Falun Gong messages are written. The police ordered Ms. Lu's husband to send her to the police station the next day. Ms. Li has left home to avoid the persecution.

3. [Dongguan, Guangdong Province] Circumstances of Ms. Yue Ling and Ms. Wu Weiwei
Ms. Yue Ling and Ms. Wu Weiwei are teachers at the Dongcheng Senior Vocational School. Dongguan City 610 Office agents dismissed the two practitioners from their jobs, and subjected them to forced labor and prison terms.
Ms. Yue, 55, has been arrested three times and subjected to forced labor since July 20, 1999. She served a term in the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp.
Ms. Wu, 48, has been arrested twice since July 20, 1999. Her arrest on June 27, 2007 left her imprisoned for three years in the Guangdong Women's Prison. Her workplace refused to reemploy her following her release in February 2010.
Ms. Yue and Ms. Wu have also been deprived of their pension rights.

Mr. Wu Xuebin, Ms. Zeng Hui, Mr. Yang Heping and Mr. Xia Hai were arrested between August 28 and 30, 2010. They are in the Dongguan Detention Center.
6. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Ms. Yu Lamei Arrested
Ms. Yu Lamei from Wuchang City was arrested on the afternoon of September 28, 2010. Participating in the arrest were officers from the Jiyuqiao Police Station and community personnel. Ms. Yu's whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Hao Shuxia, who went missing days ago, was arrested and detained in the Langfang Brainwashing Center.
8. [Panjin, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Jian and Ms. Zhang Tinghuan Detained
Mr. Sun Jian is in the Panjin City No. 3 Detention Center. His computer was confiscated from his residence.
Ms. Zhang Tinghuan is in the Benxi Forced Labor Camp, to be held for two years.

9. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhou Bin Arrested in Jian Ge, Sichuan Province
Practitioners in Chongqing have lost contact with Mr. Zhou Bin since mid August 2010. Mr. Zhou has lived away from home for a time to avoid persecution. It has been confirmed that he is being held in the Jian Ge County Detention Center.
10. [Linqu County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Jinxian Arrested
Mr. Wang Jinxian from Liushan Town was arrested at a market on October 2, 2010 as he spoke with people about Falun Gong. Officers from the Liushan Police Station made the arrest. The police proceeded to ransack his home and confiscated an MP3 player and Falun Gong informational materials. The police intimidated his family into paying them to secure his release.
Liushan Police Station officers impounded Mr. Wang's van and stole 200,000 yuan from his residence in 2008.

11. [Jiuquan, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhang Xuelian Held in Dunhuang Detention Center
Ms. Zhang Xuelian from Guazhou County has lived away from home to avoid persecution since she was dismissed from her job. She was arrested and sent to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp on September 21, 2009 for one year. Her term was extended to September 28, 2010 but, before her family arrived to pick her up, two officers from the Guazhou County Police Department took her back and then sent her to the Dunhuang Detention Center on October 2, 2010.

Nuerhe Police Station officer Zhang Zhongxin harassed Mr. Huang Cheng for a second time around 4:00 p.m. on September 26, 2010.

13. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Li and Ms. Yan Jin Indefinitely Detained
Ms. Zhang Li and Ms. Yan Jin have been held in the Tangang Forced Labor Camp's "Law Education School" (a brainwashing facility) for more than a year. They are being detained indefinitely because they remain steadfast in their belief and refuse to renounce Falun Dafa.
14. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xu Hongxia Arrested
Ms. Xu Hongxia was arrested on her way to work on the morning of September 29, 2010. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Xu is a former official of the Provincial Women's Association, and has a master's degree in child psychology.
15. [Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Zhao Yugang Arrested and Home Ransacked
Mr. Zhao Yugang was arrested on September 29, 2010. Participating in the arrest were agents from the Manzhouli City 610 Office and officers from the Manzhouli City State Security Bureau. They ransacked his home and confiscated his computer and Falun Gong books. The police threatened his family, ordering them not to expose their actions online. The family is being followed. Mr. Zhao has a disabled leg as a result of gross abuse and mistreatment under the persecution in 2003.
16. [Beijing] Circumstances of Ms. Miu Bojun in the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Miu Bojun has been in Division One at the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp since her arrest in early June 2009. She refused to write the three statements and has therefore been tortured since July 26, 2009. Division One deputy head Zhao Jinfeng incited a male and a female guard to shock her daily with electric batons and allow her to sleep only two to three hours per day.
17. [Jiangmen, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Chunlan Died as a Result of Persecution--belated information
Ms. Zhang Chunlan, 78, lived in Chengxi Village, Hecheng Town, Heshan City. She was reported to police in 2006 as she distributed Falun Gong information. Chengxi Village officials, along with 610 Office head Zhang Guohua, broke into her home, confiscated Falun Gong information materials and threatened Ms. Zhang. They urged her son to monitor her, forbidding her to do the exercises and distribute truth-clarification materials. Ms. Zhang had a stroke in 2008. She was paralyzed and bed-ridden, and died on Chinese New Year's Eve in 2009.
