(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Deng Hui has been persecuted several times over the last ten years. She was held in a forced labor camp twice and was sentenced to three years in prison last year. The following is Ms. Deng Hui's own account of her experience:

My name is Deng Hui. I was harassed and illegally arrested several times because of my belief in Falun Gong.

I went to Beijing trying to appeal for justice for Falun Gong in October and December of 1999. I was held at the Henggang Detention Center in the Longgang District for 15 days both times. In May 2000, I was going to Beijing again, but was arrested at the Guangzhou Railway Station. I was sentenced to two years of forced labor in October 2000 and was released on probation in September 2001.

Officials from the National Security Bureau ransacked my home and confiscated my Dafa books and truth-clarification materials on May 18, 2002. I was sentenced to three years of forced labor, and was first taken to the Xili Brainwashing Center. After seven months of brainwashing sessions, I was transferred to the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp. They used many methods to torture me in the labor camp, such as denying me use of the bathroom, depriving me of sleep, and forcing me to remain in strenuous positions for long periods of time.

Agents from the Shenzhen 610 Office broke into my home and ransacked it on April 19, 2009. They confiscated a computer, printer, DVD burner, and truth-clarification materials. I was held in the Jiuwei Detention Center in the Bao'an District for more than a year. I was then sentenced to three years in prison. I appealed the court's decision, but the judgment of the lower court was upheld. I have continued to appeal.

A guard from the Jiuwei Detention Center violently pushed me on July 9, 2010, and I nearly smashed my head on an iron gate. My hands were cuffed behind my back, and I was sent to Guangzhou Women's Prison. The prison guards tortured me and tried to force me to give up my belief.
