1. [Beizhen City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
On January 13, 2010, five practitioners from Beizhen City, Ms. Huo Suyu, Ms. Chen Jing, Ms. Yang Yufu, Ms. Qin Guizhen, and Ms. Xia Yufen, talked about withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to villagers in Haotun Village, Guangning Township. At around 11:00 a.m., officers from the Guangning Police Station and the Beizhen City Domestic Security Division arrested and held them at the Jinzhou City Detention Center.

Mr. Liu Zhenxian from Shengli Town, Bin County, lost the ability to care for himself after suffering severe persecution in the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp.

4. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Haiyan Subjected to Forced Labor
Ms. Zhang Haiyan lives on Xinshan Street in the Jinzhou City Economy Development Zone. On the night of September 28, 2009, Sun Chao, director of the Xinshan Street Police Station; Li Yong, political director; and Officers Wang Junjiu arrested Ms. Zhang at her home. The Kailu County Police Department in Tongliao City, Inner-Mongolia, subjected Ms. Zhang to one year of forced labor. She is imprisoned at the Kailu County Detention Center.
5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Xiuxia and Mr. Wang Zhihong Still Being Held
Ms. Sun Xiuxia and her husband, Mr. Wang Zhihong, are from the Erdao District in Changchun City. They were arrested on September 30, 2009, by Hu Bosen and others from the Jinqianbao Police Station. Their case has been passed through the arrest authorization office of the Erdao {{Procuratorate"", the Erdao Police Department, and the indicting office of the Erdao Procuratorate, and is under the verification office of the Erdao Police Department. Ms. Sun is being held in the police hospital. Mr. Wang is being held at the 3rd Detention Center.

7. [Tianjin] Mr. Jia Wenguang Arrested
Mr. Jia Wenguang from the Hedong District, Tianjin, was arrested for talking about Falun Dafa in public on the afternoon of January 14, 2010.
8.[Tianjin] Hedong Court Sentences Practitioners
On the morning of January 14, 2010, Hedong Court in Tianjin declared sentences in the Hedong Detention Center. Mr. Yang Qingsheng was sentenced to five years, Ms. Liu Huijiang to four years, Ms. Chen Xuehui and Mr. Lu Fuchun to four and a half years, Mr. Dong Hanzan and Mr. Zhang Hongdong to three years, and Ms. Chen Xueqi and Mr. Yang Xuejun to two years deferred sentences. The practitioners had been detained 14 months before being sentenced. They are presently being held in the Hedong Detention Center.
Mr. Lu Fuchun was on medical parole before he was taken to the Hedong Detention Center on January 14, 2010.
9. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Zicheng Held in the Beijing Detention Center
Mr. Wang Zicheng from the Pinggu District in Beijing was arrested for distributing Falun Dafa pamphlets in the Mafang District at the end of November 2009. The police searched his home without a warrant and took his property. Mr. Wang was held at the Pinggu Detention Center but was recently transferred to the Beijing Detention Center in the 7th Division.
10. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Changle County 610 Office Holds Practitioners
On January 6, 2010, agents from the Changle County 610 Office and officers from the Changle County Domestic Security Division secretly arrested Mr. Yu Xinmao and other practitioners and took them to the Jinan Prison. Mr. Yu, in his 60s, was rejected by the prison due to his health. Guo Xingjun, director of the 610 Office, kept Mr. Yu, Mr. Jiang Guobo, and other practitioners in custody in the Changle Detention Center.
11. [Xixia City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Shumin and Ms. Yang Shoufeng Arrested
On the morning of January 15, 2010, Ms. Xu Shumin, in her 50s, from Sikou Town and Ms. Yang Shoufen from Panjiadian Village, Sujiadian Town, talked about Falun Dafa in public and gave out fliers while they were shopping in the Sikou Town street market. Officers from the Sikou Town Police Station arrested them and tried to extort 10,000 yuan from their families but without success. They were released in the afternoon.
12. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Tian Chun Arrested
At around 2:00 p.m. on January 11, 2010, Liu Guangzhi, officer from the Section of Politics and Law of Yongqing County Police Department; Shi HuanJin, director of the 610 Office; and officers from the Yangmazhuang Police Station arrested Mr. Tian Chunjia at his home in Taiying Village, Yangmazhuang Township.
Mr. Tian's wife, Ms. Shi Yanru was released from a forced labor camp a month ago. Their family was repeatedly harassed, and their home was searched several times. Mr. Tian is the major income earner of the family.
13. [Xi'an City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Lin Xinai's Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Lin Xinai, around 60, lives in the Dannier Neighborhood, Dongmenwai Renchangli, Xinchen District, Xi'an City. She was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division about two months ago. Her whereabouts are unknown.
14. [Yibin City, Shichuan Province] Gong County Police Persecute Practitioners
On the afternoon of September 30, 2009, officers from the Gong County Police Department and other police stations arrested several practitioners.
Ms. Du Xiangfen cares for her disabled son, and her husband is in his 70s. Her husband appealed daily for her release at the police department, but to no avail. The police even denied his requests to visit his wife.
Ms. Zhen Fafen was arrested for printing Falun Dafa fliers. Her family had the same experience as the family of Ms. Du.
Mr. Xie Guangfen was arrested on October 9, 2009, and was imprisoned for 37 days at the Yibin Detention Center. Officers Ma Sanrong, Zhang (first name unknown), and Lin (first name unknown) extorted over 8,000 yuan from his family.
15. [Li County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Xiaochang Still Being Held at the Li County Detention Center, Although His Family Was Allowed to Visit Him
16. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Shang Shiying, Ms. Shan Huanrong, Ms. Li Chunxiang Arrested
Ms. Shang Shiying, Ms. Shan Huanrong, and Ms. Li Chunxiang live in the No. 68 and No. 70 subdivision in Tangshan City. On the afternoon of January 14, 2010, while they were riding in a car, they were arrested and taken to the Fengnan Detention Center. At around 4:00 p.m., officers commanded Ms. Shang's husband, who was at work, to come home and open the door, and then searched their home and seized their property. At night, officers went to Ms. Shan's sister-in-law's home and waited outside. At noon on the second day, when the family came home and opened the door, the officers went in and seized Ms. Dan's property.
Among the officers participating in the search were Li Lianguang from the Fengnan District Police Department, Li Yingxiang from the Diaoyutai Police Station, and the Lubei Police Department. It was said that officers from the Sixth Division in the Tangshan City Police Department and others from the local community committee took part in the search.
Ms. Shang is an employee in the Tangshan City Worker's Hospital. After the CCP started persecuting practitioners in July 1999, she was imprisoned at least five times. She was shocked with electric batons, injected with unknown drugs, and put in a mental hospital, among many other forms of torture. Ms. Shan is the sister-in-law of Ms. Shang. Ms. Li is a successful businesswoman.
17. [Chongqing] Mr. Yi Sirong Tortured at Xishanping Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Yi Sirong is from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. On January 12, 2010, his family got the news that he was physically abused at the Seventh Division of Xipingshan Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing on December 19, 2009. His coccygeal vertebra was injured, and his legs were blue and purple. Mr. Yi has not yet recovered. It still hurts him when he lies on his back. The blue and purple discolorations are not totally gone from his legs. The details of the abuse are unclear.
18. [Chongqing] Ms. Li Jiming Subjected to Forced Labor
Ms. Li Jiming from the Jiangjin District in Chongqing was arrested by officers from the Nancheng Police Station in the Jiangjin District. She was first detained for 15 days, then held at a brainwashing center for more than two months, and subsequently subjected to two years of forced labor. She is now in the Women's Forced Labor Camp.

19. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Guanting Township Police Station Arrested Practitioners
On January 10, 2010, several practitioners went to Guangting Township, Raoyang County, Hengshui City. They talked about Falun Dafa to villagers. Three practitioners were arrested near the gate of Guangting Middle School by officers from the Guanting Township Police Station. Ms. Wang Jings, from Luotun Village, Raoyang County, was released after having 10,000 yuan extorted from her. Ms. Li Chuanhui and her daughter, Xiaojin, from Juanzi Village, Raoyang County were forced to pay 15,000 yuan.
