(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yu Xichun from Wafangdian was reported by district security when he was posting information with the facts about Falun Gong in Fangyuanxincun on December 21, 2009 at around 5:30 p.m. He was taken away by police. Four officers from the Gongji Police Station in Wafangdian, including He Qiang, ransacked his home on December 22. One of the officers is from the Brigade of Political, Economical, and Cultural Security. The police confiscated Mr. Yu's Dafa books and truth clarification materials. He is currently detained in the Wafangdian Detention Center.
Yu Xichun, who returned to goodness after beginning Falun Dafa cultivation practice, is persecuted because he is doing a righteous thing. Yu Xichun is well-known in Wafangdian. He had been in and out of detention centers and labor camps six times during his 40 years. He often used to steal. He used to drink, gamble and consort with prostitutes, which hurt his family very badly, and had a bad effect on society. One time, right after he was released, he was arrested again for stealing.
Yu Xichun changed dramatically in 2006 when everyone, including his family, believed he was hopeless. He was detained at the Dalian City Forced Labor Camp for stealing in 2006. There were Falun Dafa practitioners also detained there. Yu was a cell chief. The guards tried to use him to monitor and persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. Practitioners, however, are good people who follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. They put others first at all times, and are kind to everyone, including those who persecute them. They don't hate them.
The noble actions of Falun Dafa practitioners touched Yu Xichun's heart. Practitioners often clarified the truth of Falun Gong to him. They told him that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda are lies, that Falun Dafa is a practice of the Buddhist school, and that people who believe in Falun Dafa will be rewarded. In a dangerous situation, a miracle may happen when you sincerely recite, "Falun Dafa is good." Yu Xichun was very doubtful about it at that time.
One day he had a severe stomachache. The pain was so severe that he sweat profusely. Prison doctors diagnosed him with an acute respiratory tract infection and believed he needed to have surgery right away. During the trip to the hospital, he suddenly remembered a Dafa practitioner's words. He sincerely recited, "Falun Dafa is good." After only three times, his stomachache disappeared. He told the prison police, "I am fine now and don't need to have an operation." The guards scolded him, believing that he was playing with them. Then they thought that Yu Xichun could not possibly intend to deceive them. Yu Xichun experienced a miracle of Falun Dafa. He realized that what the Falun Dafa practitioners said was true. No wonder so many people practiced and they so firmly believed that Falun Dafa was so great! He wanted to practice too. So he began cultivating at the Dalian City Forced Labor Camp and entered the path of returning to his true self.
After Mr. Yu returned home in 2007, his parents noticed that their son had changed a great deal. He was a completely new person. He respected others and took care of his parents. He obeyed the law, stopped drinking and quit smoking, and he no longer brought home loose women. He often cleaned the hallways inside the residential building and took away the garbage bags by the neighbor's door. His parents were very happy. Six times in labor camps and detention did not change him, but Falun Dafa changed him completely. Falun Dafa is really good.
In China however, Falun Dafa practitioners are the targets of persecution. This odd thing would not have happened anywhere else except in CCP-controlled China.
