Santos Maximo of Icyblaze Records, Urban Music, and Maximo Rage Productions, with his family.

Among the distinguished guests attending the show was Mr. Santos Maximo, a songwriter, record and film producer, and sound expert.

"How I basically dictate whether the music is good, is if it touches me. It doesn't matter the genre. And trust me, when I tell you, the music touched me. It was beautiful," he said.

He continued, "I cannot really say anything else other than this was a top-notch production from beginning to end. If you haven't seen this show, you're missing out on something big. And if you don't do anything else this year, if you've only got a chance to see one show this year, this should be the show you go see--Shen Yun. That is it."

Mr. Maximo said what impressed him the most about the show "was the simplicity of it. The fact that it was something so simple to understand that even kids got something out of it ... Your children will walk away with something positive, your children will be inspired.

"I would recommend this show to anybody, of all ages. They were excellent, music-wise to dancing ability, to the story-telling that was portrayed throughout the music and the dancing."

Mr. Maximo is a songwriter, a record and film producer, and a sound expert.

Mr. Maximo thought the show very inspirational. "You're looking at art and it's beautiful, but at the same time ... if you really, really listen to what they're saying and pay attention to what they're doing, it opens up your heart, and it broadens your mind because it is inspirational."

He also noted that each dance set ended on a "positive note." "From the beginning to the end of each piece, the good guy always triumphed. There wasn't one piece where the good-guy didn't win," he said.

When asked if he learned anything from the show, he replied, "There's a lesson in every single dance routine that they put in there. And every single song, when the tenors were singing their songs, the lyrics--there's a lesson in every single thing that was in there."

Mr. Maximo concluded by saying that the Shen Yun performance was "Top-notch all the way through! One of the greatest shows I've ever been to!"
