(Clearwisdom.net) On May 9, 2010, Falun Gong practitioners from Los Angeles held activities at Santa Monica Beach to celebrate the Eleventh World Falun Dafa Day, and express their appreciation to Master Li Hongzhi.

Seventy-three year-old Ms. Han recently came to America. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1995. Today was her first time attending a Falun Gong event in America. She was very excited. When asked how she felt, she cried, "Practitioners in China don't have such an environment due to the persecution. I cherish this environment here." Other practitioners shared how they've benefited from practicing Falun Gong physically and spiritually.
Many people were attracted to the peaceful activities. Some learned the exercises and felt the strong energy field, and many learned the truth about the persecution and expressed their support for practitioners.
At the event, practitioners sang songs. At the end, they wished Master Li Hongzhi a Happy Birthday with a large birthday cake.
