(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Pang Liang, was illegally sentenced to three years in prison in 2010, in Henan Province, and on May 5, was sent to the Xinmi Prison in Zhengzhou. The Court did not disclose the verdict to the Pang family, or the names of the persons involved in the trial.

Mr. Pang Liang, around 37 year-old, was an officer in the Jiyuan Detachment. He was expelled from service because of his belief in Falun Gong and was arrested numerous times by agents from the Kaifeng City 610 Office and Domestic Security Division. He was brutally tortured during three years in the Xuchang Forced Labor Camp. Labor camp personnel broke his right arm as they tried to force him to give up his belief. They mixed drugs into his food, which damaged the central nervous system, and resulted in long-term intoxication.

Liu Yuejin, director of the Kaifeng City State Security, and Li Guixian, an agent from the Longting Domestic Security, carried out long-term tracking and surveillance on Mr. Pang in 2009. On September 11, they arrested his daughter on her way home. They even took his younger daughter, who can barely walk, to the Beishudian Police Station in Kaifeng City. Mr. Pang Liang was later detained again in the Tongxu County Detention Center for over seven months.

In 2010, the Longting District Court held a secret session and sentenced Mr. Pang to three years in prison. He was then taken to the Xinmi Prison. His family never received a verdict, or the names of the public prosecutor, presiding judge, or jurors.
