(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in nine provinces. In this report, six Falun Dafa practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 14 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Han Xinlin Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Han Xinlin from Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City has been sentenced to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City.
2. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Shuyin Sentenced to Five Years Imprisonment
Ms. Li Shuyin from Shishan Township, Linghai City was sentenced to five years of imprisonment for installing satellite antennas. She is now being held at Shenyang Woman's Detention Center.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Huizhong Arrested
Ms. Li Huizhong from Huanggu District, Shenyang City was arrested by officers from the Qigong Police Station, Tiexi District in the afternoon of June 30, 2010. She is now being held at Shenyang City Detention Center.
4. [Qian'an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Pan Li Arrested
Ms. Pan Li was arrested by officers from Qian'an County Police Department on July 9, 2010, after which her house was ransacked. The officers confiscated Falun Dafa books, MP3 players and some other personal belongings. Ms. Pan Li's whereabouts are currently unknown.

5. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Zhao Guirong and Ms. Wang Jianxia Sentenced
Ms. Zhao Guirong and Ms. Wang Jianxia from Bahrain Right Banner were tried on June 17, 2010 by the local court. Ms. Zhao was sentenced to seven years in prison and Ms. Wang to four years.
6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Weiguo Arrested
Mr. Li Weiguo was arrested in the evening of July 9, 2010 at his home in Daowai District, Harbin City.
7. [Tianjin] Ms. Jia Sulan and Ms. Liu Jingwen Arrested
Ms. Jia Sulan and Ms. Liu Jingwen were arrested on the afternoon of July 9, 2010 by officers from the Bangjun Police Station, Jixian County for exposing the persecution of Falun Gong.

8. [Ningxia Province] Ms. Zhang Shufang's House Ransacked
Five officers from Mancheng Beijie Police Station, Xincheng City broke into Ms. Zhang Shufang's home at 8:00 a.m. on July 7, 2010. They ransacked the place and confiscated DVDs of Shen Yun performances, exercises tapes, an MP3 player, a Falun badge, and bookmarks. Ms. Zhang was arrested after the police finished ransacking her home.
9. [Yuncheng County, Shandong Province] Extra Info on the Arrest of Ms. Miao Liying and Ms. Yan Yuzhen
Ms. Miao Liying and Ms. Yan Yuzhen from Yuncheng County, Heze City, Shandong Province were reported while distributing truth-clarification materials near the county hospital at around 9:00 a.m. on July 8, 2010, and were arrested. They were held at the county detention center for one night, and on the following morning they were sentenced to one year and nine months at the Jinan Forced Labor Camp.
10. [Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province] Practitioners from Jinhua Persecuted
From the last quarter of June, the 610 Office and the National Security Division of Jinhua City have severely persecuted local practitioners. Ms. Meng Meizhen and Ms. Xue Xueling were taken to a brainwashing center. Mr. Zhang Wanfei was arrested for distributing truth-clarification materials. Ms. Wang Jinfeng's home was ransacked, and her laptop computer and some other items were confiscated.
11. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] More Info on Ms. Tan Zezhen's Arrest
Ms. Tan Zezhen from Beihai City was arrested while putting up self-adhesive posters on the evening of June 27, 2010, and the next day she was sent to the Beijing No. 2 Detention Center, where she was detained for ten days.
At 10:30 a.m. on July 8, Ms. Tan was sentenced to one year and nine months at the Guangxi Women's Forced Labor Camp.
12. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Mr. Wang Jinpo Arrested
Mr. Wang Jinpo from Huilongpu Township, Ningxiang County was taken to the Laodaohe Brainwashing Center, Changsha City in July 2010 by Chen Zaiqiang, from the county 610 Office, and Zeng Ninghan, from the county police department.
13. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Wuxiu Imprisoned
Ms. Wang Wuxiu from Shaoyang City was sentenced to three years in jail by the Shaoyang District Court. On July 8, 2010 she was taken to Changsha Women's Prison.
14. [Chongqing City] Ms. Tang Tianzhen Arrested
Ms. Tang Tianzhen from Chongqing City went to her mother's home in Guang'an City when her mother passed away. She clarified the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong to a group of people on July 5, 2010. Among them was the head of the Guang'an Police Department, who called in police officers and arrested her. She is now being held at the Guang'an Detention Center.
15.[Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Wanzhen Arrested
On the morning of June 30, 2010, the Office of Social Stability of the Wafangdian City Political and Judicial Commission, the National Security Division of the Wafangdian Police Department, and the Fuzhoucheng Township Comprehensive Management Office deceived Ms. Li Wanzhen, a teacher at the township's primary school. Ms. Li was detained and then taken to Luotaishangzhuang Brainwashing Center in Fushun City.
