(Clearwisdom.net) The police from Zhaogezhuang Town Police Station and the Social Order Section of the Laishui County Police Department went to Ms. Wei Chunlan's home and illegally arrested her at around 3:00 p.m. on June 12, 2010. Ms. Wei's eldest daughter was also handcuffed only because she questioned their action. The police then forced everyone--Ms. Wei, her eldest daughter, two young nieces and a grandmother over 80 years old--into the police cars and took them to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) government building in Zhaogezhuang Town.

Everyone was released later that day after Ms. Wei's family went to talk to the police. However, the officials from Zhaogezhuang Town went to Ms. Wei's home early in the morning the next day and took her away again. They then sent her directly to a forced labor camp. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.

Ms. Wei has been subjected to various forms of persecution for the past ten years that include constant harassment, arrests and extortion.

She was once taken to a place behind a white building at the CCP's Party School at Laishui on April 7, 2000. There, she was forced to kneel on a stone sediment while using both hands to hold a big stone over her head. Sun Guijie, the former CCP vice-secretary of Laishui County, then used his shoe to slap her hard in the face. As a result, her mouth bled, several of her teeth were loosened and she lost her hearing. Afterwards, Cui Jikun from Laishui Court and others tied her up with ropes and fiercely kicked her while cursing Falun Dafa and its founder. In addition to the severe tortures she suffered for many days, Ms. Wei was also extorted out of more than 3,300 yuan.

Several months later, Ms. Wei and several other practitioners were arrested and detained at a government building in Zhaogezhuang Town, Laishui County on July 20, 2000. They were released after going on a hunger strike for three straight days.

In May 2003 during the SARS period, several people wearing black clothes and white face masks broke into Ms.Wei's home, forcefully took her away without explaining anything and detained her somewhere in Zhaogezhuang Town. The police then contacted her two daughters and threatened that if they didn't give the police money, their mother wouldn't be released.

On August 31, 2006, the CCP secretary of the village, Cao Jiqing, and about five people ransacked Ms. Wei's home and confiscated her personal items, including Dafa books.
